He returned my call and said pebbles should be minimal, but that's about all he said. We will not order or buy from him again. Side note: The owner has a "GUNS ARE WELCOME" sign hanging behind the register. While we were checking out, my 7yo asked him why he has the sign hanging since guns usually are not welcome (in our home, that'the case). The owner didn't seem able to answer and just shrugged it off. This a fair question considering that 2nd graders undergo active shooter drills on a regular basis in this country. We miss Jenkins!

My daughter's wedding was on October 28th. We were hunting live mums for decorating. We called MULTIPLE local nurseries. No one was willing to help, commenting that we could purchase what was left at the end of the season. As I continued down my list, I called best feeds on Wildwood. I had great experiences there before. I was shocked when the gentleman that answered the phone said to stop in and that they could certainly do something for me!!! He introduced me to two female staff members who were experts in matching colors, mums that bloomed later in the season, and sizes that I would need for each space. They also taught us how to make the blooms open at just the right time. The day of pick up they were all organized on a rack and ready to go. Can't say enough about the plant knowledge that the staff possesses. I really won't shop anywhere else for my plant needs moving forward. The one problem I had was there where virtually no customer sales help at all and after about 15 minutes I gave up and decided to leave. In the entire time I was there not one sales person came up to me and asked if they could help me find something???????? He was delivering shrubs to my neighbor and I asked if they ever haul away branches for a fee. He agreed to help me out and was so positive to deal with even though it was a large amount of stuff for him to haul. I asked about the business and he said he and his brother are excited to continue the business with their dad who has been around for 32 years. I couldn't believe how nice and willing he was to help me! I'm looking forward to visiting their nursery to get plants for my new yard. If this is the level of customer care to be expected, this business has a bright future!

We picked out a large Japanese Maple for $499 plus the same for installing and 2 other plants we would plant ourselves. After waiting for a few weeks with no communication, we went back to find out about planting. We saw the tree we had put our name on was gone. The other 2 were still there. We were going on vacation at the end of May (tree still not delivered) and called and told them to wait until we get back now. Called when we got back to schedule and mentioned we didn't see our tree when we were there. I'm assuming they sold it to someone else. He showed a pic on the phone of another tree he could plant. He said it was the same. We said ok and they came the next morning. The tree they brought was at least 2-3 feet shorter than the one we picked. The root ball was about 1/3 of the one we picked. After talking to the owner and him arguing about the tree, he offered $100 off the price. I was just so pissed off, I just had them plant the new tree just to stop dealing with them. We got this tree to shield our pool from the 2 houses next door that were for sale since we weren't sure how nice they would be. It will be a few f*****g years till it grows to a decent height.

I had to remotely select and order a sympathy gift for someone in their local area, and have limited knowledge of houseplants, their meaning, etc. They walked through several expert recommendations with me from prayer plants to prosperity plants, helped me select a pot fitting the occasion and recipient's aesthetic. They also proactively offered to plant it for me, and deliver it to their door directly vs shipping or using a service. They asked if I had a letter to send them include, that they could design into a card to include with the order. They really went above and beyond and took any and all stress out of the process, while my mind was a million other places given the situation. We were intrigued so decided to visit both…read more The garden center is actually very nice to walk through with a lot of flowers/plants and shrubs to select from When we left- we went next door to see what the crowds were all about at the creamery. We walked in and they serve Penn state ice cream!!!! There is about two dozen flavors to choose from and they will let you sample too! I had the raspberry truffle and it was sooo good! It's so nice to see something in this space thriving! Give it a try - no excuse - there is ample parking too!
