He asked me what I was looking for and if I wanted a ride in his golf cart. He said that the 5 gallon bougainvillea sold for $11 each and the 15 gallon sold for $34 each. He drove quickly to the trees I was looking for. The 15 gallon bougainvillea were not a lot bigger than the 5 gallon. After I picked out three of the 5 gallon trees, Norbert removed the weeds and put them in his cart. He drove me to my car and put them in the trunk. I paid $33 cash for three of the 5 gallon trees. He drove away with my cash and came back two minutes later with change. This was such a fast shopping experience. I gave him my phone number to text me photos of trees from Macias' Riverside location. I have yet to hear from him. I highly recommend Macias for great service and prices and a wonderful experience.

Just open an account for your HOA and it is smooth sailing from there. Ours is a small order, I'm sure, compared to others, about 125 flats, but they treat us as if it were 1,000 flats. They are so helpful and respond quickly to questions and requests. I place the order over the phone in June and All Color delivers the whole order for you to the location you name, in early November. Your gardener puts them in the ground and the very healthy plants grow so quickly and bloom beautifully through the Season. (See my picture :)

While looking at colors a clerk comes over to us and lets us know they do this promo where you can get 3 little tester cans of paint in any of their colors and 3 brushes for like $20. So we did this. Clerk was great and helpful. So when it came time to do other rooms we went back. We go in and there's a clerk behind the desk. He doesn't say hello or anything. Eh, fine. No biggie. So we do our thing and pick our three shades to sample. We go to the desk to tell the clerk we want the sample deal and you'd have thought we were asking him for plasma. He tells us the colors we picked won't work for the sample pack. When I asked why he didn't answer but proceeded to type things into his computer. He then rings up the order - again never answering my question as why the colors we picked wouldn't and goes into the paint mixing room. Comes back 10 minutes later with our samples. I asked about the brushes and again a reaction of complete annoyance. He hands them to us and walks away into the back. No thanks. No nothing. We went back a third time on a Sunday. When we walked in and saw him we turned around and walked out and went to Sherman Williams. It's a paint store, I get that. You don't have to be overly attentive. It's not a high end botque. But at least be nice. If you dislike what you do that darn much perhaps do something else. I worked retail for decades and it's not always a picnic. But at least try to be nice.

I paid for the plan that would come out to my home and check on trees but they never did. They cancelled 2 times. My husband said it was a stupid purchase and waste of money. He said I didn't know anything about trees. I felt that I would get guidance with the plan that paid for them to come out to check on trees but it never happened. My Australian tree died less than a year. I guess my husband was right. I'm sad and I feel stupid for not listening to him. My experience with the Sherwin-Williams in Palm Desert was frustrating enough that I feel compelled…read moreto share it. I called ahead to place a paint order and let them know I'd be driving down from Palm Springs -- a 30-minute trip each way -- to pick it up later that day. When I arrived, I was told they didn't have the paint base in stock and that someone was supposed to have called me before I made the drive. No one did. Over an hour of my day, wasted. They offered to have the paint delivered to the Cathedral City store, which I appreciated, and said it would take about a week. About a week to two weeks later, I called Cathedral City -- they had no record of my order and were frankly unhelpful about it. I then called Palm Desert, and sure enough, the paint had been delivered there the whole time. Once again, no one had called me. I asked again to have the paint transferred to Cathedral City to avoid yet another long drive. The person I spoke with was unhelpful and kept explaining that he only works a few times a month (or year) and would had to bother his manager on their day off. That's not my problem as a customer. At every step of this process, the ball was dropped -- no follow-through, no communication, no ownership of the mistakes. I'd strongly recommend using a different location if you have one available to you.
