At 11am the S.A. comes over unlocks the door and walks away immediately. She clearly saw us standing there and couldn't be bothered to actually push the door open to let us know. I mean, it would've required an extra 2 seconds of effort. I almost wanted to leave at this point but I really needed my shampoo. Inside, there were about 10 SAs just hanging around, chatting amongst themselves. Got my shampoo and got in line to pay (had to wait of course because there was only 1 person behind the counter and the 9 others were busy chatting). I used to come here a lot, but I really don't enjoy shopping here anymore. I'm either ignored, or heaven forbid I ask something, they don't know the answer.

The older woman, devoid of any warmth, couldn't be bothered to crack a smile. When I asked about a conditioner product, she responded with icy disdain. We kept on, hoping the younger woman would be more helpful. No such luck. The younger woman, with her curt attitude and short blonde hair looked at us visibly disgusted by us and our hair product questions. Her one-word responses made it clear she had no interest in helping. It was as if she wanted to withhold information, ensuring we felt stupid for not knowing about hair products. As she walked away, she exchanged eye rolls with her coworker, blissfully unaware that my sister was part of our group. When confronted, she defensively claimed, "This is my face. People have faces." While we were exiting she threw in that she is autistic for good measure to try to somehow defend her horrible actions. CosmoProf, take note: Your employees are actively driving customers away. I had to go to another hair supply store to finish my shopping. When I told the woman working about my experience she said it happens every day that someone comes in talking about how unprofessional and rude they are over at cosmo prof. How embarrassing. BoxLunch has every character and type of merchandise from Coraline, Corpse Bride, Disney to Sanrio, just to name a few. They carry everything from pins, clothing, art work, bags and much more. The store is creatively set up from Cinamoroll and My Melody on the left side when you walk to Coraline merchandise, Strawberry Shortcake and Disney merchandise in the middle of the store. Excellent customer service as soon as we walked into the store. Thank you Olivia, Jessica, Ricardo and Alex for providing excellent customer service. We were greeted and asked if we were looking for anything in particular. Olivia also informed us to just let them know if we needed anything. We purchased a Sanrio cap and Strawberry Shortcake sticker book in store. We also did a few items like Coraline hoodie, My Melody keychain, Sanrio cap, Sanrio crossbody handbag and Disney totebag for store pick up. After our purchase on Friday, Jessica notified us that they have a fandom sale online where merchandise are 30% to 60% off. She informed us that we can purchase items online for store pick up, and so we did. We came back on a Saturday and Sunday to pick up the rest of our merchandise for in store pick up. Our daughter is happy with all her merchandise and we're very happy about the pricing online as well as the store pick up option. Thank you again to the amazing staff at BoxLunch. Will be sure to recommend this location to all our family and friends who frequent going to Palm Desert and The Shops.

After I found my conditioner I started to peruse their massive selection of fragrances, which I honestly did not realize they carried. I asked Laura what her favorite fragrance was and she shared about six different perfumes with me that were all unique and chic - she was super familiar with so many of the choices which I appreciated. I did not super love this store the first time I went there, but I look forward to shopping here again and working with Laura.

Everything g is well lighted so you can really find what you're looking for . Their price points are good for great buys. I came in to buy a highlighter from Selena Gomez. Which I found very easily there was just one left . As I was checking out, the cashier Courtney was so wonderful! I asked if maybe if they had another highlighter same one, she went back to look and found another one I was so happy! She really took the time to help me & as well helping choose a hand sanitizer scented from touchland. Which I picked out mango & Lavender. Courtney was so down to earth, welcoming, sweet, kind & genuine person! The promotion was spend $40 and receive $10 off. I decided to pick up my usual items Madison Reed hair color and Evian mineral water spray. Excellent customer service at this Ulta Beauty location. As soon as I walked in the store, I was greeted instantly and was informed someone will come to help me since the cashiers saw me walk up to the store pick up corner. The sweet lady that helped me and handed my store pick up was available within a few minutes. She asked if I needed anything else and to check out their summer products. We will definitely shop at this Ulta Beauty location again when visiting this side of town. We needed the Evian mineral water spray since it's 112 degrees here in Palm Desert. This location is also very clean and fully replenished. Great to know about this location as this will now be added to our store pick visit list for Palm Desert.
