I don't understand how sod that's advertised as fresh can arrive in this condition. I picked it up immediately after a notification that it was available, yet it looked dry and far from fresh. As a landscaping contractor, the quality of the materials I install directly affects my reputation with my clients. To make matters worse, I still haven't been able to get contractor pricing because I've repeatedly requested the contractor pricing information by email and haven't received it. I documented the condition with photos immediately after installation. I'm hoping the sod recovers with proper watering, but it did not arrive looking like healthy, fresh-cut sod. I hope Super-Sod improves its quality control and provides customers with sod that matches the quality they advertise.

I didn't win any of the prizes, but we were all treated to a delicious meal at the smoking gringos food truck. Super-Sod has the best sod available in the state. Everything from Tif Tuf Bermuda to Zeon Zoysia. I'm applying their leveling mixture this spring on my Tif Tuf Bermuda that I planted last year. Looking forward to the amazing lawn!

Sure I spent a decent amount of time harvesting in my grandmother's garden, but when it comes to tiling and putting seeds in soil that is not me. So whilst visiting friends in Charleston they wanted to show us their favorite spot for plants. Being a good friend, I went along for the ride. Here's what I've learned about plants, since volunteering in a community garden since my CHS visit. Plants are good for us! Of course they're good in the sense of something to eat or a herb for flavor, but I'm talking about mental health here (not to mention physical health-purer Oxygen). They help the mind rest and focus and relax. And that is exactly what happened when I walked through the door of Plant Babe. I had no idea there were that many plants (again, not my strong suit here). And the aesthetics of the exude warm colors and allow for sunlight to spill wherever it pleases. They should set up chairs and charge by the hour for "chill therapy". And the team, superb. Friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. If you are anywhere near, even if you "think" you don't need a plant, stop by and I'll bet you leave with something in your hands.
