A tree we purchased 10 months ago has not been doing well. It has been properly planted and cared for-even "babied" along-and still not doing well. We are not at all new to tree planting or basic knowledge, so to have this kind of issue is very very rare for us. We have inquired back with Browns 3 times now as to what we can do to help this tree make it, and have gotten zero help or answers this far. We are getting the feeling that they are just waiting for our 1 year from purchase guarantee to pass by so that they can skip their commitment. We do not necessarily want the tree to be replaced, we want their input to know to make this tree thrive better and we are not getting it. Our next tree/shrubs may be coming from someplace else. Update from initial paragraphs above... absolutely zero "customer service" for the tree, and our time ran out. We had to cut it down. $300+ in the burn pile. I very rarely give a business this kind of review, but I honestly feel that this was warranted. We played by all of their retune/customer purchase rules and guidelines, and they did nothing.

I was told that the plants that died in the baskets were to be watered every day. I have grown this type of plant before and have never watered it every day. Even several garden sites will tell you that this plant doesn't need to be watered every day. I was not given an exchange or a refund because I was told I didn't properly care for the plant. So buyer beware, don't assume that you will get a refund if something goes wrong because the store does not follow through with their promises. I will not be returning to this garden center.

First, no company that has pride in good customers service would expect a refund to take that long to be issued and received. I noticed the sum included a shipping charge therefore the order sum increased to 176.02 due to taxes and the shipping cost. On the same day I contacted customer services and I was advised that the $21.95 could not be removed from the bill. They told me I didn't receive free shipping because I did not subscribe. I was told to cancel the order so I did. I later learned the order was re-opened on March 13th without my approval. Ever since I have sent messages and no one has responded. I filed a dispute with my credit card company who advised they have reached out to the company and have had no response. I've sent several messages not to send the order but I received it about 2 weeks ago. To this date I have not opened the package while hoping to resolve this issue. At this point I am willing to keep the order if I am credited the shipping costs. I have to wonder about a company that is willing to dig there heels in about a 21.95 shipping cost for an order of $142. They have also chosen to not communicate with me or my credit card company. Anyone ordering from this company had better know they get their money up front and takes a looooong while to ship your merchandise. In addition they are not transparent with their policies therefore they are not customer friendly.
