It's a newer store with tons of customers taking in this exciting new place but I will say one of my complaints is that me and my wife experienced lack of toilet paper in their restrooms. I'd been in a Big Lots (once before) in Joliet and found the prices to be quite reasonable, but the store kind of dingy and picked over. However, the minute I'd walked into the new Lockport location, I could see that this store was much lighter and better laid out as well. It simply "felt good" to shop there. Plenty of merchandise to cruise through and if you're not careful, you just may find yourself filling up your cart with things you didn't plan on buying beforehand but discover you can't afford to pass up! The employees are a delight to deal with, too, and I've never had a sour experience with any of them, even during the busy holiday season. I can actually say that I enjoy coming here and from time to time, find myself wandering in just to see what's new. Right now, holiday decorations are dramatically discounted, so I know I'll be heading back again real soon. You should, too!

The whole time I was there, they kept announcing they were closing, coming up to me, and reminding me they were closing I'm not sure if this is their normal policy, but personally I find it off-putting. I'm an adult. I am more than happy to be out of stores at close, before close. But sometimes you run in for one thing and it takes but a minute, a Quick Look around. This is a smaller dollar tree. I really do not think that is a nice way to treat a fellow adult...especially a customer.

The items look to be the same good quality you would expect from The Container Store, there's just less holiday options and prices are higher. For example, there are some pretty red and holiday color boxes with satin bows for an easy way to wrap a gift, but some of the boxes were $10.99 and up. I always check back here after the holidays, as I have found some great deals on plastic storage bins for ornaments or decorations after Christmas.
