Hello today I went to get my Prescription at pharmacy which is pretty good.I pulled up and couldn't park because all the handicapped spots and close spots were filled with carts and scooters which arnt allowed out of store.I asked for a manager.Two asett protection guys who were very nice and cool,showed me the nearest Manager.It was a guy named Alfred in a peach shirt with Coach under his name I said hi I wanted to make you aware of the handicapped spots all filled with carts and handicapped people can't park because no one is gathering carts Already says What would you like me to do? I would give this Walmart on RT 38 a negative score. Let me explain why: I've recently purchased an 86 dollar (I say 90) coat rack and organizer set. Only to bring it home, to find out I was missing a part. I couldn't return it because the box had to by cut into because of the way it was packaged and the supervisor stated I can get something from the hardware section to replace the part. This Walmart has things missing from sets all the time and it is incredibly run down. You would think that an 86 dollar item would have everything included in it. Furthermore, 3 different employees told me that only a manager could complete an exchange at that time and there wasn't one in the store at that time. t's Walmart. I get it, we shouldn't expect much. I came in to grab a few things and was amazed at what I saw. Electronics - I went to go buy a video game. I stood in line at the counter because that's where the kid who has the keys was standing with a customer. The kid was dealing with the customer when the phone rang and the kid started to have a full conversation on the phone when he wasn't even done with the customer at the register. Incredibly rude. I've worked in retail before and the customer in front of you ALWAYS takes priority over the guy on the phone. Anyway, he grabs my game and rings up a few other things I had and tries to stuff everything in one bag. The bag is ripping as he is putting stuff In it and he tries to hand me a bag with a few holes in it. Unbelievable. Garden center - I went to the garden center to pick out a few small plants for my mother. I found the plants no problem but when I went to check out, I was in for a treat. There was a line of 7-8 people with one register open and about 5 employees just standing around. It blew my mind that people could be so oblivious to what was going on around them. I got a flat on the way to NY from MD so I put my spare tire on. I stopped in NJ at this Walmart to buy a tire. I was the first vehicle to get serviced and about an hour later the vehicle was done. I paid and was on my way to NY for a family event. I didn't think to check for my spare tire. I've got my car serviced at other Walmart locations countless times and I've always never had to worry. It wasn't until the next day in NY when I was in my trunk I noticed my spare wasn't there. I immediately called the tire center with no luck. I continued to call. I was on the phone off and on for about 2 hours. I even called other departments. After calling the pharmacy department I finally spoke to someone. They put me on hold for about 40 minutes. When I finally got on to the manager at the tire center, he was nonchalant about the whole situation. (His employee not putting my spare tire back in my trunk) However I told him to leave a note so I can pick it up on my way back to MD. When I finally picked up the tire the manager was busy so I got another worker to get my spare. The manager never addressed me even when being told about what I was there for. I rely on this car for my civilian job, military job, and personal use so this situation could of messed things up if I would get another flat in the future read more

This is a Walmart, with all the horrors that entails. It is not an especially good one either. I have had to wait 20 minutes or more sometimes at specialty stations, like the photo center, electronics and jewelry counters. I also find the layout of the place to be somewhat awkward. most department stores group things together the way they are in your home- dining room stuff next to kitchen stuff, etc. they seem to regularly break that rule here. Other then an inattentive staff and poor layout, this place has what Walmart does best: everyday low prices. The truth is that's why most people go to Walmart, and this store does that well enough I suppose. read more

I am appalled I just watched Walmart associates dictate to someone how they are above the law. This person was physically unable to comply with wearing a face covering however they had a medical reason and note. They were very nice when they said according to Gov. Murphy if you need to go out and have a medical reason not to wear face covering the stores can not deny you service. The Walmart associate told them that Walmart can refuse! Since when does Walmart make their own laws. This person was keeping a distance was not coughing, sneezing, sniffling, etc I'm sure would not have risked their health if they did not need to. I hope this goes public next thing you know they will not let people with any disability in because they make their own rules! Either way this person should look into the Disability Act. The tires I picked out were out of stock so they offered another one however I need the price. Young lady went and got the price and put the tire back outside however the young man started helping someone else and never came back to us and we are standing there right in his face. After about 20 minutes we address the young man and asked him how come he is taking care of someone else when he didn't finish taking care of us? He had no answer just a dumb look on his face so I said I don't have to except this type of treatment and I will take my business elsewhere and that's exactly what I did!!!!! Had an issue trying to return a couple items I lost the receipt and was hoping to return my items I bought a couple weeks prior . 1st off the customer service boy by the name of Sean, instead of trying to figure out a way to help me grabs two bottles of cleaner and walks away from me. I've been to many other Walmart's in New Jersey and this one is among the worst. It isn't staffed with enough people on register most of the time, so the lines are long. The departments don't seem to keep up on their inventory, so often times products are either out of stock or what's on the shelf is broken or appears to have been damaged. This has to be one of the most disorganized Walmart stores I've ever been to. Perhaps it is not as disorganized as much as it is not like other Walmart stores, meaning unless you go to this place everyday, it's hard to find anything. I have had more than one experience of finding a product online, it saying that the product is available at this store and when I arrive, BAM, not on shelf. I asked an employee to help me find a product and the employee said that if it's not on the shelf then it is not in stock. He didn't even attempt to help me find what I was looking for. I did end up finding that item, lost in a sea of disorganization. There are better Walmart stores in the area and I would suggest driving the extra 14 min to the next closest one. read more

As if this isn't A** Backwards, They have a larger selection of vinyl records then they do Cd's. Cd's use to get half an isle, now they have a small endcap. I and lot's of other folks still listen to music on CD and we want physical media. I have no interest in streaming. HELLO ------ I EXIST and there are lot's of others just like me so Walmart Please pay attention and get some cd's on the shelf and not just those over played classic rock bands that WMGK plays every single day over and over again. The vinyl records are cool and I collect them too, I just find it ridiculous that there are more records to choose from than cd's. And where is the gym equipment at this location. maybe blocked behind all those fully wrapped skids in the gym equipment isle. Also, I'm not the tallest guy in the world, and I'm kind of fat too. I have not encountered the problems that many on this site have described. It is not the largest Walmart and yes the food section is small but the staff and the items that I have gone into the store for are usually there. I had to return an item and it was dealt with speed and efficiency. I like the fact that they care enough to hire individuals with special needs. I sign with the deaf clerk whenever I go in. As former associate working there, I would like to give a heads up to anyone who may be thinking about working at this particular Walmart, I advise you not to work at this particular one. First off, they are ALWAYS short staffed it seems and you as an employee will sometimes find your self either working alone in department or sometimes you'll be thrown into multiply departments and be expected to juggle multiple jobs, which is unfair. You will often find that you can not rely on management , there's only like two-three managers that are actually helpful to you but for the most part you will have to be able to think quickly on your feet. The store manager does not treat their employees with respect and empathy as they should, therefore there are a lot of depressed and under appreciated employees who deserve recognition. There is most defiantly favoritism when it comes to promotions. There are people working there now that have been there for years and are some of the top worker of the store and I have yet to see them be promoted. The ones who are friends with the managers are the ones that get promoted. There are managers that are currently working there now that do not have proper training management nor knowledge management and it shows in their work ethic. Some of the managers share the store manager's same mentality. They treat you like they are above you in all aspects, almost peasant like. Sometimes they even flat out ignore you. The customers there have a slave mentality mind set and will treat like you are next to nothing, and management is a bunch of push-overs who will allow unfair treatment. So I urge you for your own piece of mind and as a former employee to this particular store ,if you are interested in working for Walmart, avoid this particular store. I hope I helped anyone make a decision. Please I urge not to work here. There's people there now that need to leave, because they deserve so much better than this company. read more

Walmart in general needs a big adjustment. Not just at this store but at all of their stores. My husband and I bought our laptop at this Walmart location and the employees in the Entertainment department were so ignorant to my husband and I, and even the rest of the customers in the area. They seemed to be in their own little world. Two of the employees were too involved in helping two of the customers that my husband and I waited 45 minutes until we finally got our laptop. This is the only Walmart that is close to me, and I think they need to change all of their stores because no matter which store I go to, the customer service sucks!!! read more

I have to say I have been to multiple different locations and each one is as equally good as the last. The coolest part about melting pot however is that each location has the normal menu but, they all individually have something specific to their menu maybe specific to their location for that it is worth to go here in different places and try what's different on the menu especially if you have tried what is the same. I suggest going with the 4 course menu for you and your date it can get a bit pricey I won't lie but it is worth every single penny I promise you that you get fondue to share chocolate to share each an entree and each a salad. If that wasn't enough you can upgrade your dippers and get better stuff to dip into as well. The wait staff is always super professional and hard working and a lot of them are down to earth although you kind of have to get it out of them because they are so professional. TWICE I have gotten Oil changes and have left the store with DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE! This time I left with NO BRAKES! The manager TRIED TO TELL ME the brake fluid was leaking from the BED OF MY TRUCK.....Hmmmm there wasn't anything IN the bed of my truck to leak!! I HAD brakes when I went IN but NOT WHEN i LEFT!!!!! This review is specifically for the photo center. I logged on from home, ordered and paid for 10 prints using the one-hour photo option. When I went to pick them up 5 hours later, there was nothing there. The associate was unable to help me since she hadn't received the order so I didn't exist to her. She suggested I call the 800 help number. I did and he couldn't help me either though he could see that the order had been "processing" for 5 hours. Both associates were nice but neither could find what happened to my order nor did they seem to think they should figure it out so maybe it wouldn't happen to another customer. Oddly, the photo center doesn't use the confirmation number that you receive via email so don't feel too good about having that. Fair warning that if you order photos, they may never appear there. The online associate did process my refund but I needed the photos that day and Walmart blew it. The best part of the day was when I went to the self-checkout and the machine was out of ones.
