I always enjoy looking around HomeGoods and usually buy things I'm not there for. It can get overwhelming with the amount of stuff they have, especially when it's crowded. I recommend going during the weekday or odd hours. After shopping in HomeGoods it's nice to walk right into TJ Maxx. They have super cute clothes, it's always fun to check out the clearance section. I always look at the soap/lotion section as well. They usually have a great selection.

I'm always astounded by the range of produce the co-op features. From persimmons to avocados to…read moremangoes--the co-op has the ripest and most flavorful. I come to the co-op for fruits and vegetables before I go to Whole Paycheck or Willy. And while I don't buy as much wine as I used to, I've switched my allegiance from a liquor store a couple miles from my house to the co-op. Whenever we have a gathering at our house I can get whatever booze I need there. Most satisfying to me is that every dollar I spend there helps keep this invaluable local resource going. Anyone living within a mile of the store would be wise to spend more shopping time at the co-op.

"Regent Street" was scrawled in Sharpie at the top of the parking sign, making it unclear that the space was supposedly reserved exclusively for this business. Instead of politely explaining or asking me to move, the employee screamed in my face for approximately five minutes and told me he hoped I would never enter his store again. This level of aggression over an understandable parking mistake was intimidating and completely disproportionate. Local businesses are part of a shared community, and misunderstandings should be handled with basic courtesy. Toxic behavior like this creates hostility and makes the neighborhood feel feel less welcoming. No one deserves to be treated this way.

A bottle of soda is like $1.75, which, by my Chicago standards is pretty normal. Water is also priced normal. I've never had bad service. I walk up to the counter with my merchandise, pay, get change and leave. What I like best is the map and store rules. I am actually a fan of maps. I think our spatial capabilities suffer just a little bit every time we use google maps to tell us how to navigate while never actually looking at the map and where we are going. In any case, the fine cartography makes navigating 1,000 sq feet much easier. Plus if I were at all uncertain about opinionated whining or paying in large sums of change, I could easily look at the back of the map and realize that these things are not acceptable by the Clerk.

I think it's important to note that when you go in here, you're not gonna find really cheap prices. The prices are still up there. They're just a little bit less than you will find in the actually Nordstrom store and/or Nordstrom online. For me, the main reason I like Nordstrom Rack is their selection of shoes. They have a really big selection of shoes, particularly tennis shoes. They truly have a large amount of all of the name brands. And again, at semi discounted price prices. They're not cheap, but they are below what you would have to pay at the regular Nordstrom stores or most other sporting goods retailers. In terms of clothing, they have a lot of it. They have both a large selection of men and women's clothing. It's truly a vast amount. I don't usually find clothes that catch my eye at this store, but my wife always seems to find something. So, that may let you know of the mindset of the people who shop here. For men, they have a nice selection of suits, sport coats, slacks, and dress shirts. But, they're not exceptionally good deals. Personally, I prefer to go into a shop that is more devoted to those things when I buy such items. For my wife, however, she commonly finds nice dresses, tops, and also, shoes. She too, is a big fan of their shoe department. The one thing I will say is that if you want to get a nice pair of Doc Martens, this is a great place to buy them. They seem to discount Doc Martin's more than they do their other name brand shoes. This is just something to think about. Overall, if you want some high-end clothing, and/or shoes, and/or jewelry, and/or a little bit of anything else that Norstrom offers, this is a good place to purchase it.

Someone else took the socks while I was in the room. Next, I wanted some cologne. Took awhile to find someone to open the lock box where they keep it, and they looked at me like I wasn't making sense when I asked for cologne. When I tried to carry it up to go check out, they snatched it out of my hand and carried it straight to the register. Just a bit odd to treat paying customers like they're expecting you to rob them. It will probably make me stick to ordering from the online store in the future.

It's...Kwik Trip…read more They have gas. They have beer. They have mildly overpriced food (a trade-off for the convenient parking). If you're here for fine dining, please seek help. You are clearly unwell and deserving of medications. You go in, you get whatever they got that looks appealing, you throw it on the counter. The cashier scans it. You pay for it. You leave. Hopefully with a minimum of fuss, line waiting, and conversation. We all know the drill by now. It is what it is. If you're giving it less than five stars for being anything other that what it is, that's a you-problem, because this is just what Kwik Trip does. Doesn't matter which one you go to. They're all the same. --However, when you find one of their frosted Persian doughnuts, and some kind soul has over-frosted that beast--there may not be anything finer on this planet. I am trying to avoid sugar as best I can, but if I see one of those Persians, and it's HEAPED with frosting, I will always, ALWAYS buy it. Those are my true Kwik Trip weakness. Everything else I can usually ignore, but those over-frosted Persians break me every time.

They always have deals toward the end of the night of packs of donuts that are close to expiring!

Their bathrooms are always clean and well stocked and also smell fresh, and I noticed the trash cans in the bathroom and near the pump are well attended to as well. I would recommend going to this gas station if cleanliness and nice staff is a priority to you.
