The cashier was very friendly & talkative. It wasn't too busy b/c I came on a weekday after 6pm. I found an associate who helped pointed me in the direction of master locks. Online had it located in the wrong aisle. I hope they update the actual location. This Walmart has an enormous selection & the shelves are full. You definitely get a bang for your buck. I ordered a fluid master 504 for my toilet repair. The item was never delivered though à message of delivery flashed on my smartphone. When I called Walmarts customer service I was told I signed for the item . I have never signed. Asked the cs staff can we review it look at signature and address? The phone was disconnected. Prior to disconnecting the phone operator kept insisting I signed and denying anything could be done. I have looked for a other ways to receive. Finally found a local phone number after over 10 rings there was a pickup no answer, after 10 minutes of was disconnected. I am so disappointed and don't recommend doing a mail order. I just spent three and a half hours at the Milford CT Walmart trying to get an oil change. I was told three people ahead of me so two hours. I wasn't happy but said ok, walked the store for an hour. When I came back there was a truck in line and two cars, then another car. I asked again after two hours, I was next, someone had an appointment. after three hours my truck was pulled up and the guy went to lunch. I asked and was told someone else would do the job. I asked After another half hour because after three and half hours the hood is not even up yet. I was told the "other guy" was on tires first. After over three and a half hours I left. No oil change. Won't be going to Walmart for oil changes anymore, And I'm sure they don't care but I do. read more

I am referring to only one issue. This past evening I stopped at the Milford Walmart to purchase 3items. I brought cash with me and wanted to get in and. I had done alot of quick stops along rte. one. It was 8:30pm and I noticed the self-checkout line was incredibly long and thought to myself, "well one time I'm glad I use the human cashier." Wrong. I continued looking at the check out lanes and realized that the were no human cashiers..no light on or cashiers. Before I started my looking for my intended purchases I found some workers on the floor and asked where are the cashiers? Both replied, "oh there are none now that happens they must be on break." Are you kidding me? It's normal and fine? Too bad for you? Well I left and if not for the well educated and great information givers the Pharmacy crew there..it would be bye bye..not that they need me I know. The World's wealthiest family the Waltons are not and never have been customer oriented or employee kind and generous by any stretch so this should not surprise anyone. No wonder I go there for Bystolic! PS What is the Walmart Corp doing with the millions and millions they are saving by not providing any bags 90% of the time for the last few yrs? So I'm not from around here and I don't know how many people use this Walmart or if it's new, but it's a ghost town.. Anyways, my mom bought a duffle bag and we came here to return it. She went to the customer service desk and the lady was super efficient. She barely said a word, but she was fast and I was kind of shocked at how quickly we got in and out. The store itself was pretty empty, but there were plenty of employees around. I give it five stars because I didn't have any problems and even though it was kind of creepy no one was shopping, I got in and out efficiently. read more

I just went in and bought one hand held item there and told the cashier I don't need a bag and he told me yeah you do and then he said I couldn't get out of the store without it and I said the receipt isn't good enough and he said with the bag you don't have to show a receipt I'm sorry I really don't see the point of forcing me to take a plastic bag which is doing damage to our planet for one hand held item. As I write this review, I am currently waiting in line to check out at this Walmart location. I'm in line for the self check out, which has to be at least 40 people deep. There is not one single cash register open that has a real person working it. I needed help in the sporting goods department with an item, and I had to run all around the store, only to be told by one unfriendly employee that he could not help me because he is "off the clock in 15 minutes." 15 minutes? The item that I needed help with would've taken him a grand total of about three minutes to assist me with. When I expressed my discussed in this particular Walmart, the same employee told me to call corporate because nobody wants to work. The service desk closes about an hour before the store does. How could a store still be open and their customer service desk is not? Can somebody please explain to me what would've happened if a child was lost and they knew enough to go to the service desk to ask for help, only to be told that the service desk was closed? To me, something is not right here. As a result of people not wanting to work, you would think that they would have a surplus of funds to pay the electric bill, well, you would be wrong. The lights in this particular Walmart keep on dimming roughly every five minutes. It is to the point, wear after shopping in here for about 45 minutes of this happening, I thought I was starting to lose my vision. And would you like to know what the icing on the cake of this whole shopping experience was? When I went to use the ladies bathroom, there was toilet paper all over the floor, there was no toilet paper in the toilet paper dispensers, and me and several other female shoppers were forced to use the scratchy paper towel that they had on the counter. How could that be? Honestly, it's no wonder that they had no toilet paper on the rolls, because it was all over the floor. All in all, it's a shame that a business that once could be considered a quality, family friendly, all around essential business could now have such low standards. Honestly, this particular Walmart is a pit, and quite frankly should be closed down since they clearly have no staff that want to work, and the ones that do cannot be bothered to offer quality customer service. read more

i went to this walmart in hopes of finding ice cream. to my surprise there was no ice cream, only the crappy walmart brand, which there was about 4 containers of. they had 0 frozen desserts and i was very upset. i do no recommend this walmart, go somewhere else. read more

On 11/25/16 I ordered 2 TVs from Walmart online and picked them up at the Milford CT store on 11/26/16. I opened the boxes at home and discovered that one was a 55" TV in the 50" TV box. The TV was not in its original packaging and appeared to have possibly been a display model. The serial number on the TV did not match the serial number on the box. I called 1-800-WALMART and was told I would have to return it to the store, due to the fact that I had picked it up at the store. I called the store and asked for the manager and was connected to a female who claimed to be the manager. She stated that they would normally exchange the TV, but that the they did not have another one in stock. She told me that I could exchange it in another store if they had the TV in stock. I then called several other Walmart stores in the area, but nobody had the TV I had originally ordered in stock. On 11/27/16 I carried the TV back into the Milford CT store and the manager, Matthew, refused to give me a refund. Matthew was extremely condescending and was not helpful in any way. In fact, he insinuated that I was not being truthful. I will now have to deal with Walmart over the phone and will most likely have to lug it into a UPS store and ship it back if they decide to do the right thing and credit my card. I will never again even purchase so much as a toothbrush from the Milford Walmart store. read more
