A Walmart is a Walmart is a Walmart. But this Walmart is much nicer than others I have been to. Store was clean and organized, fully stocked, and we were able to find what we were there looking for. Can't ask for much better than that. The one thing that I don't like, is the self check out. I really dislike that so many peoples jobs are being taken away from them. I do like the feeling of being waited on a little bit when I go shopping, so to check out myself I'm not a fan of . If you must go to a Walmart, this is one that nice and we will return if we ever need anything from there again. read more

How do you work on the floor and can't speak no englsih? That should be a requirement to be hired. If you can't speak no english, you should be in the back, especially when 80 percent of your customers are american, why do you have people on the floor working that can't help english speaking customers, you make majority of your money from americans. We visited this location Last Sunday (6/25) and were absolutely disgusted by the produce section. I don't know what is going on through out Tampa with the produce, but many stores we've been to the produce has been lacking or molded/rotten. This Walmart was by far the worst! The produce section smelled, there were rotten fruit & veggies lying in bins, & just over all undermaintained by the staff. My mother in law went to pick up a melon and it was so rotten that her hand went through it, 5 min later she was looking through some pre-made kabobs and juices were leaking from the package (smelt horrible!). We also saw a few items past their experation/sell by date still out on the floor. And do not get me started on the molded berries that were on sale!!! I get that produce will go bad, but it is the company's responsibility to get them off the floor ASAP! Not try to sell it or just neglect it in general. Will not be going back anytime soon... Giving 2 stars because every other isle was nicely stocked. read more

I decided to purchase the impossible ground beef for dinner. I grabbed the last three packages. Upon preparing the meat I saw the best by sticker said April 7, 2024. Here it is almost thirty days later and the meat department failed to remove this product off the shelves. I also blame myself for not reading these labels prior to purchase. Here's the kicker one of the packages didn't even have a sticker on it for awareness purposes. Again I'm partly at fault too for not inspecting the meat. Do better Walmart. Yes your prices are very affordable but making your customers sick after consuming expired goods is not good on your part either. Unfortunately this is my first bad experience at this location hopefully it's the last. read more

I like to go inside of the store when I'm trying to avoid going into the Supercenter lol I can usually find everything that I need and get in and out this time I was a little perturbed at the fact that I had to scan the items myself otherwise, I would've waited all day to have a check out person at the register do it. read more

Already right off the bat the place is missing a lot of inventory! Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Produce section was about the only good place here. Lines were backed up and Walmart never has more than two registers open at a time smh. read more

When reviewing a franchise or a chain with more than one location I like to split my reviews into two parts. My titles are pretty self-explanatory. Specific to this location; This Walmart is pretty average, very limited selection due to the neighborhood market store type but this place is fairly clean, and the service is pretty good. Can't really complain. Wal-Mart in general; Walmarts themselves vary from old or new, clean or dirty, and anything in between. Along with this comes variable service, selection, and the overall experience. Walmarts are known for being budget friendly and having a wide selection of common items that most people need on the fly. The stores themselves also offer different bonuses such pharmacies, auto centers, even other businesses inside of it such as salons, restaurants, and more. read more

Prices at Walmart are for the most part the best. However, the service provided by staff is not up to standards. I believe spending a little more at a service cultured company makes it worth it over better prices at Walmart. read more

I was excited to come, but two stars because when I came at 6:30 PM on Sun, 9/15, there were was one cart; some limited selection of veggies; & finally the BIGGEST reason--Massive headache inducing headache from PAINT fumes. Your poor employees!!!! I sat up by customer service & it has been TWO MONTHS since the PAINT has been done. It's unacceptable to me. read more

This Walmart has FAST grocery pickup. I usually get my grocery within 5 minutes of arriving. Unlike the Walmart grocery pick on on Causeway that takes a LONG time (took over an hour one time and manager refused to speak to me on the phone) to bring out the grocery and missing items every other order. I would recommend this Walmart grocery pickup over the one on Causeway. read more

Love stopping by this location for that quick item and a good price. Compared to the other Walmarts close to this one, this neighborhood market is very clean and inviting. I do not dread going to this Walmart because the store is easily navigated, not crowded, the food is fresh, and the lines are short or none existent. The prices are close to the other Walmarts but seems that prices may be a few cents more on some items. Sadly this does not have a Deli so either you have to pick prepackaged sandwich meat or go somewhere else. read more

Not perfect but worlds better than a Wal-Mart Super Center. Not only is this right around the corner from my apartment, it also boasts the same low prices of a typical Wal-Mart with significantly less mess. Haven't had many issues with bad produce, etc so no complaints there. But it does seem like they don't carry random items such as FlatOut brand wraps. Usually a pleasant shopping experience, but like any grocery store the checkout area can be congested occasionally. All in all, this is my regular grocery spot, though Publix is preferred when money isn't as tight. read more

I love this store. It is located well, and I don't feel like I'm in any danger like the Walmart on Causeway Blvd. The pharmacy is great, I really like the staff. They are always so nice and really take an interest in you as a customer but more importantly as an individual. The store itself is clean, lots of hand sanitary wipes located around the store. They really pack a lot into this little market, I don't feel like it is "little". If you don't want to be standing in a 10 people deep check out line, go to this store, they are friendly and helpful, and get you on your way. read more

Amazing how rude some employees are!! I was at the end of the frozen veggies isle, I asked an employee IF they carried cauliflower rice. Her response was amazing! She said, it's down there in the vegetable isle! In a condescending manner. As I began walking the isle to look she came walking right by Mr and still would not assist me. My wife went to this store today to return a item ($3.98) that I had bought the previous day. I made the mistake of throwing the receipt away and I had purchased the wrong item. When she went in the door she was meet by a customer service representative by the name of Maritza who told her that she could not return it without a receipt. My wife told her that she didn't want to return it but to exchange it for the right item and that she would pay the difference in the two items. Maritza told her that without a receipt she would not be able to do that either. My wife told the women that she had done so in the past and Maritza told her that if someone had done that for her they did not know how to perform their job. My wife said that she was going to buy the correct product then and she would let her husband try and locate the receipt and return it. When my wife went to the the sale floor to get the item she was followed by Maritza as if she was a thief. When my wife found the item she wanted she went to one of the registers that was manned by a person (rare find these days in a Walmart store of any kind) only to have Maritza tell her that she had to come to her register. My wife told her that she was going through the line of the register she had chosen. Maritza told her that if she did not like the manner in which she was treated she could shop elsewhere. When my wife got home she told me what happened. I called the store only to have Maritza answer the phone. I told her that I wanted to speak with a manager. She asked me what I was calling about before she could do that. I told her that I was not going to provide her with any information and that I wanted to speak with a manager. After her asking me two possibly three more times and me responding the say way each time she finally told me to hold. After a short wait the Operations Manger by the name of Carlie came on the phone. I explained to her what had happened and how unhappy I was about the incident. She apologized and told me that when a customer has no receipt and are returning a item that cost less then $25.00 they will give the customer a refund. If the item is greater then $25.00 they provide a store credit. She said what took place should have never happened and she assured me that she would address it with the employee. I told her that I would not be shopping at that location anymore in the future as a result of this incident. I did however on my way to Target stop at the store and a young man at the customer service counter allowed me to return the item without any questions. As we were finishing the transaction up I told him that I would not be returning to the store in the future because of (as I pointed to Maritza who had just walked into the customer service area) that women. This store has gradually gone down hill since it opened however I realize that for me it is time to stop doing business with them. read more

For this being a Walmart neighborhood market it has way more then I expected!! They recently redid this store and WoW! It's always so clean it's amazing. The bathrooms are always clean and neat. The staff can go both ways depending on who checks you out but for the most part they are nice. They have a Walmart super center sized good section then ample amount of other needs like for you, baby, pets and some car stuff. If needing to grocery shop and don't want the headache of the super Walmart this is a good option! read more

Conveniently located, this store is a bonus to the neighborhood. Easy to get in or out of day or night with a great variety of staples and then some. That's the good stuff... now here's the unfortunate part. Purchased poultry from the meat section that was dated to expire two days from date of purchase. Got home and opened the package on the same day only to find the product had already spoiled even though the sell by date was in the future. Went back the next time and found cold cuts cut to half price. Unfortunately the sell by date on these was one day prior. Is it even legal to sell cured meats after the sell by date? There is definitely a freshness issue at this store. Avoid the produce and meats... otherwise it's a good place. read more
