The lines here are crazzzzzy long! Over priced compared to the Walmart I'm use to in Brandon! Not much is stocked here! Shelves messy and unorganized! When I walked in and saw the whole front of the store backed up with people I should have left and taken my butt to Publix. Absolutely nothing here in their "Seafood" section! I'm almost boycotting all Walmarts if I can help it. (Bad service, spoiled produced, non-delivery of items ordered and NO FOLLOW UP and impossibility of getting answers etc) So I stopped in out of necessity and almost instantly regretted it. ALL of the refrigerators were plastic-wrapped. Yep! You read that right! You had to reach into a split in the plastic wrap to get to the items stored there. This was a few weeks ago, so I hope they got their open refrigerators up and running by now. Another side point, it always feels like I'm inconveniencing them by shopping there... it's an obstacle course through the aisles. read more

I've worked their myself and the managers are selfish and only care about their money I even applied for full time and after a month they took my hours away from 40 to 15 a week and if I asked for more days they would deny it and at the same time they would stress workers to the point were they quit and leave bc they can't take it and all they do is nothing while just telling others what to do and people leave working the first 3-5 months some after a few weeks that's how bad this Walmart is read more

Never a bad experience at this location. I come here often and typically find everything that I need. Shelves are always stocked (unless hurricane frenzy exception lol) and organized, plus the restrooms are kept clean. Prices are good and I do get good deals here (typical for any Walmart). Parking here is so easy, and there's always an easy spot to find! There are other stores nearby like Sam's Club, Amscot, Walgreens and several more. I do enjoy shopping here, and I always go back for more. read more

#277 Wife and I thought we would give this fairly new place a try. On the way in I noticed that their price for exchange propane was $4 cheaper than any one else. There was a clerk right there so I asked about the exchange policy. She didn't know. Inside you enter into the produce dept. wife and I eat a lot of fresh produce. The stuff in here looked like a Farmers Market left over getting ready for the dumpster dept. We just walked out. So much for trying it out. Not good. read more

Good store to go and grocery when just need to get groceries and don't want to go to the Super Walmart. The aisles are easy to navigate and find what you need. They have a small produce selection and very small meat selection. I usually get dry goods from here because they have the best prices and go to Sams Club or Winn Dixie to get meat and produce. Pro: great prices and small footprint, multiple self check out stations Con: small selection on meats and vegetables, hard to get into ( and out)parking lot, usually only 1 manned register which makes it hard to check out if you have a buggy full read more

If you get delivery or do pick up at this location check your expiration dates! And make sure packages are sealed I am constantly getting expired food and open packages and their produce is never really great! Probably going to start ordering elsewhere. read more

As always Walmart has cheap prices, their produce is a joke. It's an ok place, that's close to where I live.

Decides to give this new store a try. Why not right? Walked into the store and entered the produce department. No beefsteak tomatoes...then on to the green beans I needed. OMG..shriveled, slimy and disgusting looking. Turned around and walked out. If you can't keep fresh produce fresh..what's wrong with the rest of the store. Stopped at Walmart Marketplace on my home from work. Only needed bananas and chicken broth for a sick baby. Tried to use the self checkout, but couldn't because the young lady working that station didn't know how to work the station. Only 3 self checkouts were working and of course they were busy because there was only 1register open. On a Friday evening at 5:45p there were only 3 people to run the registers. When I got up to the only register that was open, the young man behind the register, said he didn't know who the manager was, Dana something. Then told me that his register shut down because he had been signed in more than 6 hours. read more

I drive all the way to the Neighborhood Market on 301 across from Winthrop village to avoid this place. Poorly stocked, the check outs are poorly managed, and it's had to find anyone on the floor. I wouldn't risk buying any produce there because most of what I have bought doesn't last more than a few days. read more

Well stocked for your basic essential needs. The carts were overflowing from the parking lot. Blahhh. People just have no respect to put the carts back. Overall not bad. They also have self checkout lines. I didn't have to wait forever to checkout either which is a plus! The workers were friendly and helpful. I have no big complaints. I visited this store in this afternoon on 10/10/19, and tried to buy a roasted chicken with price $4.98 each. But only one left on the hot plate and the chicken was very small. I suddenly found an young inside service guy packed a large family size chicken (price is about $8.00) into a $4.98 box and quickly delivered to an older man waiting outside. I guess this older man was a relative or friend of that young inside service man who reserved this large chicken for that older man with a cheap price labeled box ( I saw clearly the young man put a $4.98 label on that box with a large chicken). So, this Walmart needs to investigate this kind of wrong doing. read more

99.9% of the time I prefer this Walmart over the rest but today, being only 8 days before Christmas, 12:30 on a Friday afternoon & they have 1 person working customer service... 4 people waiting in line while 1 clerk is putting things away & even the manager came to speak to the person doing stock while both of them completely ignoring the line. I bought three Cobb salads. Took them home they looked fine. Open them up and the lettuce and the carrots were all slimy. Threw them all away. They have so few workers because it's all automated checkouts. So hence there's no quality control. Don't buy fresh prepared food at this store. read more

Racial discrimination in the deli section. I understand Spanish people help Spanish people, but if the line is long, there is no need for 2 workers to serve one person. Yes there are 2 machines, but one worker serves one customer. DO BETTER!!! I see why publix gets Walmart business. It's better treatment there. read more

I use the pharmacy at the 10327 Big Bend Rd, Riverview, FL 33578 Walmart Market location. I wanted to say thank you for having the most amazing staff at the pharmacy!! I recently had to change pharmacy's due to my insurance not being accepted at Walgreens and for convenience I decided to try the Walmart Market since it's in the same shopping center. I have been a customer since October and every single time I am there I am happier and happier. They are so friendly. They refill and fill my prescriptions so fast. The drive thru never has a long wait. I'm writing today because they went above and beyond and I want to make sure someone knows about it. I called in a refill for one of my prescriptions, but I have another one coming due this week. I've been trying to get the timing down so I wouldn't have to make two trips but I figured next month I'd be able to do that. I just received a phone call from Matt, who called to tell me while he was filling my one prescription that he noticed I had another one coming due and asked me if I would like that filled as well so I could pick them up together. WOW!!!! Is all I can say!!! I was so impressed with him taking the extra step of calling me!! This is not the level of customer service I am used to at any other pharmacy. The pharmacist and all of the pharmacy techs are awesome at this location. I visit about 3 times a month for my family and I and every single time it has been a great experience. I have shopped at this location for a few years and I have enjoyed my experience until recently. Every time I enter the store I am followed. It starts in the produce area and ends when I check out. At first I thought I was being paranoid but then when I was shopping there was a security alert and the area I was in was swarmed by associates that were "stocking" fully stocked shelves. I have no idea why this is happening. Over the years I am sure I have spent thousands of dollars with Walmart. I don't think that I have a suspicious look. I am a working mom that likes to do her grocery shopping in the morning before the stores are swamped with people. I use a Walmart with self check out because I really don't like to talk to people. But I am tired of being treated like a potential thief instead of an actual customer. I get that there are people out there that will steal. I am the other end of that spectrum I will pay twice for something just to make sure that I did not miss an item. I agree with the person from the other post. I am going to start shopping at Aldi's. I won't have the convenient self check out but I will have lower prices and I'll be treated with respect. read more
