I like Dollarama when it comes to getting candy, canned goods, and spices. The items are of good quality and the price is right. Items are no longer a dollar. You see the price vary depending on the item that you're getting. You can get sandwich bags with the zipper seal for $1.25. A roll of aluminum foil will cost you $3. Prices are still decent. I've heard that the most expensive item these days will set you back $5. I have yet to buy anything for that price. I bought something for my plant a while back that was $4.25. I like getting tissue paper for gift bags and the gift bags themselves. They are cheap and of decent quality. The snacks are also amazing. I am seeing more sugar-free options these days, but they are still outnumbered by chocolate bars and hard candy that are highly sugary. I have bought lightbulbs from Dollarama in the past. It didn't set my house on fire. One of them recently died. It was an LED. I can't recall how long I have been using it. It was definitely for a few years. Last Saturday, I was hoping to drop by this store and shop. It's not worth attempting a visit on weekends. This store is next to the Mandarin, where families like to gather and enjoy the buffet. All parking spots in this vicinity were taken up. It likely explains why I don't shop here as often than I used to. There's a Dollar Tree a couple of minutes away that never has an issue with parking. I tend to like the variety of products that it offers, including bagel seasoning and sugar-free beverages. Maybe when I'm here after work, I'll return to revisit this store. It's a good one. The parking can make or break your visit, though. (193)

This is probably the least known one as it's tucked in a corner inside Box Grove Plaza, but this is probably by favourite of the four. Everything about this particular store is organized, and I find this store carries a lot more of the $3 items that are actually worth that much (e.g: huge collections of shampoo and body/hand wash). The cashiers here are also efficient and actually smile and greet at you, despite them being paid the amount they are paid. This store gets somewhat busy around 5-6pm as business workers do come in to buy some last-minute items, which makes sense as it is located in an almost purely residential area.

This store is in a plaza where you need to pay attention to drivers who don't check their blindspots. I pulled into this parking lot at around 6 pm. I had to honk at a car that felt like backing out without checking a thing. When I left, a similar situation happened with another car. I already felt that this wouldn't be a store that I'd frequent often if I am fearing for my life trying to find a parking spot. Anyway, I backed into a spot across from the main entrance. I walked in. It does feel like the IGA that I used to frequent. It simply has Dollarama merchandise. There was lots of Easter merchandise. From chocolate Easter bunnies, to baskets for your treats, you can find everything here. One of the few items that you can get for $1 are one-litre bottles of Pepsi. There were many when I was there. If you are looking for mason jars, this store has cases of them. The catch is that they aren't wide-mouth jars. Rather, they have bottlenecks. If you're looking for the former, you're out of luck. I liked the colourful planters at this store. You can do some cool gardening and save some money by getting your supplies at this store. You can get seeds and soil. Done! This store does not have any self-checkout kiosks. I lined up at the checkout area that moved fairly well. There was one person doing everything. He was pleasant. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I grabbed my items, wished him a great evening, and left. It's a decent store. Poor drivers backing out of parking spots that scare me. (134)

The store is of medium size so the aisles are pretty close together, not leaving a lot of space in between.The store is insanely busy during the holidays and numerous popular items are always out of stock. I wish a bigger Dollarama could open in the area as there is clearly a demand and a bigger store is needed to hold more inventory. There is also no room for self checkouts, which would speed up the check out process. Lots of parking and easy to get there through transit. Never had an issue with the employees there.

The stocks they carries a little bit different from Dollarama as they probably sourced their merchandise from different suppliers.. That do make browsing the store a little more interesting. However, most of the stocks are "MORE" than $1... around $1.25... Can I blame it on the exchange rate and the cost of transportation from down under?

Every wall and aisle is loaded with products and Dollarama is no longer what it used to be....that is things for a dollar. Prices are varied and there are more 2 for...etc. The checkout process was efficient given a long lineup of customers. Anyhow, these types of discount stores lure people like me here so shop away!

I love dollar stores especially when they are in malls (one stop shopping). This branch is smaller than others I've been to and the staff are pretty standard as well - majority not too sociable but they are helpful and efficient. What I do like about this one is that they will open another register when they see the lines getting long. You are in and out pretty quick and the store is well stocked and clean.

There's not really much to say about a Dollarama... but I did learn something the last time I was there. Their $1.25 drinking glasses look to be as good quality as the $40 boxes of 4 you can find at Home Outfitters or The Bay. When the time comes to replenish, I might actually come here first.
