Hands down worst shopping experience in Ventura a county. This place is run down, never stocked, stuff everywhere. Employees are beyond rude and unhelpful. Management should feel ashamed and the corporation itself should feel embarrassed having this eye sore open. Cosmetics isle at night a worker with tattoos who is a old lady was picking fights with customers and being disrespectful. This is such a sad mess. read more

HORRIFIED BY MY EXPERIENCE !!! The pharmaceutical staff is unhelpful, rude and unprofessional!!! I have never visited a Walmart pharmacy and this is why. they advised me saying I wasn't covered with two medications when in reality they didn't even have those medications. When I asked why he said that it was over the counter even though these were specifically prescribed by my doctor. When I ask what and how much, he gave me NO INFO AND said "I'll sell you". And nothing else!!! How could you possibly have a pharmaceutical consultant that is this horrible !!!?? Cmon Walmart I expect low but this the lowest. This is a medication and the disregard they had for any concern or specificity is disgusting. First and LAST time I will ever visit this sad excuse for a pharmacy. read more

Horrible place to work. I stayed almost three months and recently quit on the spot due to a managers lack of Ability to communicate Appropriately to his associate. Yelled at associates in front of customers. Belittled and embarrassed associates. Even made an associate cry in the bathroom . I know how workers are supposed to be treated and this ain't it. I loved the co workers and some of the managers! Sadly he plays a big part in this store. I told myself "one time is the only time" and followed thru! I asked to switch shift because he said I was "too slow" and I was still new so he was "putting up with it" mind you , you said all this on the floor in front of customers which EMBARRASSED me as a person not even a worker, he then continued to yell at my coworker. he said there was no hours to switch my shift so I quit . I hope those associates can speak up and realize "oh that's just him" isn't an excuse to be a shitty person day in and day out. Allen will continue to make the work place toxic for those associates. It's all right. I see some improvement from the past. They only have one isle of makeup! And it's always half empty. Also when I went on Google to see what time they closed, it said 12AM all week. When i showed up 10 minutes to 11 pm they were making announcements that the store was closing. They really need to change their hours of operation on google. read more

I just went to the photo department to pick up pictures of my children that I not only scanned but downloaded from my phone. This is my 3rd trip to this walmart for similar items. For the first time ever they asked for the release for the pictures, What??!! I waited an hour for you to ask for the paper release??!! read more

So I tried to pick up my pictures. There was no one at the counter. I go get an associate to help. She walks me to the photo area, tells me the photo lab opens in 10 minutes and to wait there. I ask if She has a key, I just want my pictures that I ordered online, already paid for and everything. Again, says the lab will open in 10 minutes. She clearly had a key. Just too lazy to get my pictures. I should know better. I'll stick with Shutterfly and have it delivered to my house. It's encounters like this that limit my visits to Walmart. read more

Walmart on Saviers Rd. A social experiment gone wrong! Workers were selected from a random sample of applicants, and were chosen based on specific characteristics and behavioral traits normally associated with abnormal psychology. The good thing about it though is that they enjoy being wayward. From the managers to the stockers, to the cashiers and the bathroom cleaners it's one big happy dysfunctional family. Don't go there and expect to be a better human being when you leave the store rather, consider yourself fortunate if you don't pick up some bad juju on the way out. Updating my review, I was pretty heated the night of my horrible encounter with two careless employees. But I've been forced to go back there due to product availability a couple times now and clearly it was just two bad eggs that I happened to run into that night. The night manager, Victor, was so understanding and went out of his way to call me and try to resolve the problem. Luckily I had already done so, but the fact that he took time to do so was above and beyond. One star for Walmart, what did you expect ? I sometimes stop here on my way to my favorite restaurant. However, this one takes the cake. Throughout my travels, I've been to many Walmarts and this by far the worst. The employees make it painfully aware to customers that they dislike their job by being rude. The store is such a mess. I went in a couple days ago and couldn't find a single employee to help me out in electronics. When I did manage to find another human being, I was told that they don't have a key and before I could get out another word they vanish like a ninja. I went to the Walmart on Savier's Road in Oxnard, CA. I tried to return some Valentine's Day items that my children were unable to give their teacher's. I have a receipt showing the items were purchased less than 30 days ago but the girl at customer service and the Manager would not return these items. The Manager said it is the policy but she is lying because there is no such policy! They have nothing posted at any of their stores, if you look online their policy does not state any time frame you are allowed to return seasonal items and the lady at the corporate office could not find anything saying this was their policy. I was told that it was up to the Manger to decided if they would return the items which is not okay because not only is this not in their policy, now I have to hope that the Manager is in a good mood to return my items which I guess she was not in a good mood today. It is not okay that Walmart Managers are allowed to pick and choose who they will allow a return for! I expressed my concerns to the lady at corporate and she said they would get back to me in a few days. I was given a reference number so let's see if they reply. The lady at corporate told me that they lose money when you return seasonal items which I told her that that was untrue because Walmart is a big corporation and they are insured so they do not lose money but I the consumer am at a loss of money because I can not make a return of items that I purchased less than 30 days ago even though I have my proof of purchase and and their is no such policy stating that seasonal items can not be after a certain time period. Seems like Walmart needs to get their policies in place and stop making them up as they go. read more

The store is conveniently located by my home. But it has a selected variety of items. It's a mini walmart. i went there to look for some camera accessories and car maintenance supplies with no luck. Also the parts finder was out of service and it has been for quite some time, it's a good thing I remembered the part number other wise I would have had to call an auto parts store to verify the part number. I figured since I was already in the store for some light bulbs I would stop by and get the rest of the items I needed. On several occasions I have asked the associates for help and some of them can ppint to the product or send me to the aisle but none can really specify or recommend a specific brand. I would rather stick to specialty stores that specialize in their respective field for certain products. As i personally like to chat to the associate about the task i.e automotive or whatever my task or product in question.Anyhow just shop for the essentials i.e commodities. read more

Let me start by saying that I've worked retail for the last 11 years, Walmart being one of the places. That being said, I have NEVER been treated so poorly! I was given attitude by a cashier about WIC. I can never find any associates in the store and when I do, I'm ignored. I'm sorry but there is no sense of customer service at this store at all! I live in Port Hueneme but would gladly drive to Ventura and take my business to that Walmart or even WinCo! I've never left a business so infuriated as I did this store. As sketchy as the area surrounding this Wal-Mart is, I was truly IMPRESSED with how clean this Wal-Mart was. This Wal-Mart is much cleaner than the one up in North Oxnard, that's for sure! The only downfall I have with this location is that it's a pretty tiny Wal-Mart which means that they won't carry as much items as a regular Wal-Mart. Another downfall is that I had a difficult time figuring out how to get into this place. Little did I know that I had to go through an entrance that led me to a tiny looking mall to enter. Ordered Pick Up Today said wouldn't take less than 4 hours and would receive a text or email when ready its been currently 5hrs called walmart where i had the pick up today scheduled only to be transferred about 5 times. Associates asking each other if they knew how to do a pick up today in the background only to have me transferred again and again. Terrible experience. read more

I usually HATE going to this particular walmart but it was late at night so I decided to brave it. I was looking for cold meds and I didn't know what to get. Employee Brenda was nice enough to show me where to find the cold/flu aisle and even helped me decide what to get! I wouldn't mind going to Walmart if there were more Brendas. read more

Everyone here is slow and not helpful. They hire people who don't even know what there doing. I don't order things online for pickup anymore because the past few times I went to pick up a package it took more then 20 min! Without a line!!! Okay so I had to go to the Walmart at the Center Point Mall to pick something up and you have to get an associate to help you so I went and seen a young guy helping a woman with like arms full of spray paint obviously in the middle of helping her and I said hey when you're finished can you give me a hand and this department there's no rush but I'll be over here and he said yeah for sure. Then I went back to that department and waited for a while and then I went looking for another employee and found one she was an older woman she was clearly available and said she would send someone from that department to help me but didn't. the guy who is super busy and had his arms full of stuff helping somebody else came like he said he would to give me a hand and then soon as he was done helping me he went right help somebody else I just had to say kudos to the associate Jordan he was very knowledgeable and personable The Other Woman older Hispanic with glasses wasn't quite so helpful anyways just hope somebody at Walmart please attention to these things and can maybe put Jordan in higher-level customer service position where he belongs five stars all day long appreciate your help. I literally had to delete two other apps re install Yelp on my phone just so that I can leave this review that's the level of service I felt I deserved this review!!! I just have to update that same lady did the same thing to my wife in a different department 10 minutes later and because my wife wanted to try something on she threw a big fit cuz she had to go find a key definitely not good customer service I did see Jordan helping out other customers though while I was waiting on my wife. I wish I got the lady's name but I wish I got the name of the lady but I didn't want to go near her anyways if you read this review you'll probably know who I'm talking about LOL read more
