Most of them are kind, helpful, and know me by name because I'm there so often. This review is not about them -- it's about CVS corporate and the way this place is being run. The touchscreen register systems are awful and constantly unresponsive. Employees have to keep tapping the screens over and over just to ring people up, which adds several extra minutes to every transaction and creates unnecessary stress for both staff and customers. There's no reason a company this large should have equipment that works this poorly. On top of that, dealing with my son's prescription prior authorization every month has been exhausting. Patients should not have to act as the middleman between the pharmacy, insurance, and doctor's office over and over again. It honestly feels like CVS is cutting corners on staffing, systems, and support while the employees are left dealing with the frustration from customers. The workers deserve better than this. It's frustrating for both staff and customers, and it really needs to be addressed.

As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted with a warm smile from the clerk and then, Andrea, the pharmacist. I needed to fill a pain Rx and was prepared for a refusal, thanks to the FDA's criminalization of pain patients, doctors and pharmacists that treat them. Instead, Andrea chose to get to know me. She asked why I had moved to Lincoln and if I liked it here, where I lived before, and what my medical conditions were. I know that this information is necessary, it's called a treatment plan, but the way I was asked for this information was more like meeting a friend, not an interrogation to be judged. I appreciate this more than I can express. I will be transferring all of my medications to Lincoln Pharmacy and truly look forward to them fulfilling my needs as well as building a professional friendship with these lovely people. I'm not sure what kind of remodeling they're doing inside the Walmart but if they wanted to improve this location they should concentrate on making sure it has stock on hand, not on remodels (the Walmart on Pleasant Grove is also going through a remodel so I'm guessing someone in Walmart management signed some sort of deal with a company to do all of the stores). On some days, my dad and I have been sent around town searching for a transport chair and toilet seat, that is sturdy, comfortable and wide enough to accommodate all of her difficulties getting in and out without causing pain and discomfort. Needless to say that perfect wheelchair seems hard to find. That's when my dad mentioned we should check out Lincoln Medical Supplies. We have already visited them a few times with numerous questions. A very nice and knowledgeable young woman has helped us each time. She goes out of her way to assist us as we browse the store taking photos and measurements for my mom who remains at home mostly bedridden and refuses to leave the house. We were given a number of helpful options to think about and discuss with my mom. I really appreciated her efforts in showing us all the available choices that are out there for special order. Now, I just need my mom to make a decision, so we can all move forward! The problems we face, is that once the chair is purchased it can't be returned if my mother doesn't like it!

I've never met anyone so confused before. Confused about everything I said from my medical needs to where to park at my house. Our health care provider gave us a list so I hopped on Yelp and took a look at some reviews. This one had such a high rating I had to read through the other reviews to be sure, but this was our first choice and we got it! This is not what I am used to in larger healthcare settings, but I am so glad that they aren't some super excessively large entity because the personal service we received was out of this world! Literally could not have asked for anything better in caring for our family. It started with our provider reaching out to their offices, shortly after that calls started coming in to deliver the bed and supplies (they use Hospice Source for equipment delivery - will pen another review for them specifically). Once we figured out what they do and don't provide we hopped on Amazon for anything else we didn't already have so we could be thoroughly prepared for our loved ones care. Intake Nurse was at our home shortly after our family member came home from the hospital. They hand you and informational booklet (handy way to keep everything organized and sorted) with homework assignments already inside for the funeral arrangements, general definitions, even a spot to write your entire care teams name and number so everyone in the home has access, etc. We even received a blue card to place on the fridge for contact information for our care team! Our private team was 2 nurses, an aide, social worker, chaplain and even a couple on-call/after hours nurses as needed too. Every one of these staff members we were assigned were absolutely phenomenal! Supreme service all around, if I had my own company I would extend each and every person that came in a job offer. They were THAT good. Hospice work is very tough to continuously be with people at often their lowest point or right before they pass away. With all the heightened emotions of the patient, family and their own personal lives.. you can imagine this is often a thankless job. We expressed our gratitude thoroughly to every one of our staff and I am writing this review to tell anyone reading to have some patience, compassion, and grace. THANK YOU Advanced Home Health & Hospice. No offense, but I hope I never need you again. If I do, you will be the first team I call or recommend to anyone in your service area.
