Most of The pharmacy employees here are amazing and work incredibly hard, especially considering how stressful their jobs already are. Most of them are kind, helpful, and know me by name because I'm there so often. This review is not about them -- it's about CVS corporate and the way this place is being run. The touchscreen register systems are awful and constantly unresponsive. Employees have to keep tapping the screens over and over just to ring people up, which adds several extra minutes to every transaction and creates unnecessary stress for both staff and customers. There's no reason a company this large should have equipment that works this poorly. On top of that, dealing with my son's prescription prior authorization every month has been exhausting. Patients should not have to act as the middleman between the pharmacy, insurance, and doctor's office over and over again. It honestly feels like CVS is cutting corners on staffing, systems, and support while the employees are left dealing with the frustration from customers. The workers deserve better than this. It's frustrating for both staff and customers, and it really needs to be addressed. read more

Two stars only because I like the people who work there. They really try to provide good service. UNFORTUNATELY.... Management and corporate doesn't see any reason to fully staff the front of the store. Customers are expected to use self checkout. Nope, I refuse to.... I will look for staff to come assist. Expecting people to check themselves out is unacceptable. This store is next to a large 55+ community and they are many others who don't have the wherewithal to self check. Again treat employees better by having enough on shift = better service for customers. Those that work there are great and I appreciate them. read more

Mismanaged, understaffed and apathetic. I submitted my photo order and they couldn't find it, even though I received an email stating that my order was ready. I did have the correct store, not my error. One of the employees helping me had a horrible attitude and was completely unhelpful. read more

My experience was with Felicia. She was helping another customer, but acknowledged us and said she'd be right with us. We had a difficult return; we had a home delivery that was delivered without a receipt in the bag. The item was missing a part. She opened the box and searched for the missing parts in case we had missed them. She was very patient and concerned about our dilemma. She waited patiently while my husband searched for the receipt in his emails. No go. He had permanently deleted it apparently. Then she looked up the purchase from our credit card, found it, and cheerfully refunded our money. Throughout the transaction, she was very professional and gracious. I live near by this CVS and it's super convenient for me to come here for things I may need . Today I walked in around 9am and got greeted by the friendly staff all dressed up in holiday fun costumes. It was such a great and fun idea to celebrate the holidays . They also had a lot of Christmas decor and goodies . I love all the unique fun things they have like cool holiday stuff . This store is pretty big and has a great selection of make up . This store is also very organized and clean . I would definitely be coming back here for some more new finds and I love the friendly staff .. read more

Sad to write this review because I'm such a loyal CVS customer but today's experience has been extremely frustrating. As a result, we do not plan to ever visit this location in the future. We stopped by this CVS in Lincoln to grab a quick gift card for our niece's upcoming birthday. Also grabbed some facial cleanser since we had the 40% off CVS coupon. Stood in line while the customer in front of us was finishing her purchase. My husband and I were commenting to each other that we needed to make sure we had a receipt and the little stub from the gift card to make sure it was activated. Noticed the cashier was a young man (Tanner) who began changing the roll of receipt paper. We were about to finish our quick transaction when the paper started rolling and Tanner said, "Uh oh." It was a blank receipt. Turns out he had inserted the paper incorrectly so nothing printed. No big deal, we figured he could just reprint the receipt, right? He called over another sales associate, Jack, to get some help. Both of these guys were very friendly and helpful. They apologized for the inconvenience. Jack said he would call the manager, Lisa, for assistance. We figured Lisa would just come to the front, we'd get our receipt reprinted and we'd be on our way! Jack gets on the phone, explains the situation to Lisa (who is in another part of the store, apparently), hangs up and then says to Tanner. "Well, I guess I have to go upstairs to get the receipt because Lisa doesn't want to come down." My husband and I glanced at each other and he commented that a manager should come down to help. But we figure, we're not in a rush, we'll just wait a couple minutes. So we're standing at the register waiting and waiting and soon it's starting to become TOO long of a wait. If we were asking CVS for a big favor or dealing with an issue that's OUR fault, we should be made to wait that long. But to wait this long for an issue that's due to an employee's error seemed a bit unreasonable, especially when it seems this manager isn't quick to solve problems. Finally Jack comes back down and says they can't print the receipt but that if we'll come back on Monday, they'll try to print it again. Had it been any regular purchase, I wouldn't have cared about a receipt but due to the fact that we're purchasing a gift card, I didn't want to leave the store without having some sort of proof that the card we were walking out with was associated with the purchase. Sure, it was likely the gift card would have no issues, but it's always good to CYA with big purchases like this and to have some sort of receipt and proof. We ask Jack if there's some way we can just talk with Lisa. Maybe she can print it from the register where we just checked out. Something, anything. So he goes back upstairs to get her to come down. (Poor Jack--having to do so much extra for a lazy manager). So we wait a few more minutes and finally this unkempt, low energy woman comes out looking like she HATES her job and the first words out of her mouth were, "We can't print the receipt. You'll have to come back on Monday. Or you can call 1-800-SHOP-CVS. I can't do anything about it." No greeting, no apologies, no pleasantries, nothing. Good customer service can go a LONG way. You can say the exact same thing but in a different way and get different reactions. Had this woman come out and said, "I'm so sorry to hear we had an issue with the receipt. Tanner is new and we'll train him better. I will do my best to get you the receipt. I'll write down the card number and your info and if you have any issues with the card, you can contact me. Here's my info," things would have been so different. But since we had already waited 20 minutes at this point to talk with her and then she comes and makes it seem like we're at fault or were asking for something unreasonable, I felt my blood pressure rising. I'm usually a very calm person and raise my eyebrows whenever I hear a customer getting upset but I was in disbelief with her response. This was your employee's fault. You should be trying to make things right! But you want to make it seem like we're inconveniencing you and you want US to make another trip back on Monday?! I think she was annoyed at having to come downstairs. We asked if there was ANYTHING they could do. How about refunding this purchase and starting a brand new one where we would get a receipt? Nope, nothing. Can't do anything. System is down, can't print receipt. Can't do refunds on gift cards. Call SHOP CVS. At this point it's been 30 minutes just to get a receipt reprinted. I get it, maybe her hands are tied with gift cards and reprinting receipts but this was NOT the way to deal with customers who are coming into your establishment to spend their money. My husband commented that someone with that kind of personality or disposition should not be a manager. Will not return to this location. read more

Came in for a flu shot today. Only 1 pharmacist was on duty, filling prescriptions, counseling, giving immunization shots, and more pretty much all by herself with her techs- c'mon CVS do better! Despite the workload, the pharmacist (last name Tran) was really sweet, answered all my questions and took her time in making sure when giving me my flu shot. I believe when companies like CVS skimp on pharmacist hours, they are not prioritizing patient safety or satisfaction rather only looking to skimp on their own employees and customers so top management can take in big bonuses at others' expense. So greedy. Nothing ever gets done in time, there's always a wait because of staffing. CVS- I'd give 1 star. 5 stars for the pharmacist I met today who was doing her best. read more

Frankly I am shocked to see the average ratings for this pharmacy. I moved to Lincoln 2 years ago and dealt with Walgreens on Twelve Bridges. I was extremely patient with them hoping that they could provide just average service, but finally gave up after constantly waiting in long lines, receiving notifications that prescriptions were ready when they were not, and what appeared to be a totally disorganized and non-caring pharmacy staff. I switched to CVS on Lincoln boulevard a few months ago and the service has been absolutely stellar. The pharmacy staff is friendly, prescriptions are filled immediately, and the online and in-person communication could not be better. If I could rate this pharmacy higher than five stars, I would. I waited in line to pay in the pharmacy. There were 2 cashiers and when it was my turn, the open cashier left. I walked to the counter to wait on the other cashier who was helping a customer. She saw me but when she was done helping the customer, she was going to walk away... I shouted "excuse me" so she returned to help me. Very rude cashiers... not helpful at all. Do NOT use this pharmacy. There is Walmart on third st. I will transfer my prescriptions to walmart. They do not deserve my business if they do not have good customer service. read more

I have yet for a prescription to be ready. Every time they say they are working on it and it'll be 15-20 minutes. One time we checked after 15 minutes, and they closed the pharmacy for lunch. Nice if she would have mentioned that they were closing. read more

When I moved to Lincoln, I needed to switch my pharmacy to a local one. I went to CVS and tried to get multiple prescriptions transferred. The pharmacy refused. They said I needed to go to my former pharmacy and have them do it, which was 400 miles away. Even with my electronic documents/prescriptions and pill containers, the Lincoln CVS would not transfer the prescriptions. I decided to go to Rite Aid in Roseville instead. They don't have any issues transferring prescriptions. It's literally just one form to fill out. Apparently, the CVS employees can't be bothered to do this simple task. This was just one issue I had at this store. Long lines at the check-out counter, faulty self-checkout machines, and employees who will interrogate you and ask extremely personal and intrusive questions when buying gift cards are just some of the issues here. Target and rite aid will let you buy gift cards without the Gestapo treatment. Go there instead. I suspect this store only exists to sell alcohol to the local homeless population and teens with fake ID. In fact, their liquor prices are pretty competitive, so they have that going for them (hence the generous two star rating I'm bestowing upon them). Maybe they want you to replace your medication with alcohol. After dealing with the pharmacy and other employees here, you will need an adult beverage or seven. read more

I went to CVS today with a short list of items to buy all of which I found and had in my cart. My last stop was at the photo center where I needed some copies for ornaments which included ornaments that I bought at CVS on a previous visit. I was not able to do this by myself and asked to go working at the cash register if there was somebody who could come help me. In a few minutes, she appeared and she helped me for a short while, but was called back to the register and I had to abandon my project because I was not able to get help. So I got in line to make my purchase of the items in my cart and for one photo that I was able to print while she was still helping me. But there was nobody at the counter. There was no help at all. A woman dressed all in black, who apparently worked there called out to us and said you can use this kiosk. You can use this kiosk you can use this kiosk. I needed help because I wanted to make sure that I would get my Care pass money used so I waited for her help the line behind me got longer, including very frail people with walkers and still, there was no help coming to the cash registers to help anybody. It was Friday a few days before Christmas and it was absolutely unacceptable that a store would be so w to care for their customers. The gal dressed in black told me my total and I asked her if I had any coupons or my $10 pass for the month and she said no but then as I was reaching to put up my apple to do Apple Pay she goes oh wait a minute hear something and I got $10 off and if I hadn't asked, she would not have given it to me. This is totally unacceptable. It is a little bit further to Walgreens, but I need to find out if there are any better off in helping their customers. This is an area that has a large senior population and to keep them standing in line with canes and walkers and what have you and then saying oh you can go to this kiosk, you can go to this kiosk you can go to this kiosk is ridiculous and unacceptable read more

I came here tonight with my mom she was looking for a neck brace to help the nerves in her neck Walmart didn't have them or target we where lucky enough to call cvs to make sure they had and as luck would have it they did the staff was very friendly and made are experience here a very nice one I highly suggest coming here it was a very great pleasant experience very clean atmosphere very well stocked with items lots of Lincoln souvenirs lots of cute stuff plus they have a machine where you put your phone number in and it prints out coupons for you to print which is great because who doesn't love having savings and coupons are always awesome to have I will be back here soon for future visits I look forward to my next shopping experience at this location thank you for all the help cvs employees read more

Terrible customer service, specifically Paul the pharmacy manager. He does not know how to interact with customers and changes the stores procedures at his will. I have used this pharmacy for almost a year and every month I come to pick up my Rx he tells me my Rx is not available. No joke. Every single time. Even when I call ahead and confirm if I could pick up, yet when I come to the store Paul would tell me it wasn't not ready. Today was the final straw, he told me I did not call and confirm because no one would have told me otherwise. Calling me a liar. One month he'll tell me I can pick 3 days prior to the 30 days, then another he would say 2 days prior, then next month 3 days. Every single time making me come back. Today was 2 days prior to 30 days which should be no problem, and of course he informs me I must come back after 5 to pick up. On a holiday weekend when they're closed the next day. He is ok with me not taking my medication nor any health side affects. I asked him for his managers info and he wouldn't provide the info. He told me to call the 800 number and then proceeded to tell me I was no longer welcome at HIS pharmacy. Clearly one of those individuals that relishes any bit of "authority". If you don't have to use this specific pharmacy I highly recommend going somewhere else. I will never step foot in that store again! read more

As I entered the store...I asked for wipes for the handle on my cart... the lady said follow me... she picked up a container of wipes was holding it like it was a gift and said I have these. I replayed .. no ..Your store is to provide wipes for the cart handles..where are they? Her reply..we don't have any. My reply... no....I'm not buying them. Her reply was... do you want these? My reply...no. I should not be asked to purchase wipes for my my shopping cart. Wow wow wowie................. Not over with yet. Her reply... This is all we have is to purchase them. I picked up two items and put it in my cart.... ahh. I'm not feeling comfortable being asked to buy wipes for my cart handle...... I went straight to the checkout counter.My complaint was not excepted during my conversation with the counter clerk.....Amazing......she pointed to the available Free wipes that were sitting 20 feet from the checkout counter. Not over with this yet...... She told me... Her exact words. I don't believe you that any employee from our store asked you to buy wipes. . I pointed out to her who the store employee was..I left the store and may I say.... This is bull crap. Do not shop in this store. This is unreal harassment and totally wrong to ask a customer to $$$$pay for sanitation wipes. It's inconvenient enough to have to wear a mask. Shame on CVS for this type of treatment. For the past 3 years, I have shopped at Walgreens off of twelve Bridges. I will continue to shop there and never recommend or even enter a CVS store. read more

Don't buy any candy or food here. The store's rating should really be ZERO and not one star. Frequently, the dairy, frozen, and ice cream shelves are empty. I wondered about that at the time, but now I know why. I bought some Lifesavers (actually found a roll of them - haven't seen those in years, anywhere) a while back. Finally opened them up to enjoy a nice, tasty, hard candy. Only problem is, they were very old, and soft. Lifesavers are supposed to be hard, clear, and delicious. These were anything but. Don't know how old they were, since I didn't see an expiration date, but I'm guessing they were several years old, given how bad they were. The place was too cheap to give me a refund, even though I had a receipt, since they said that was "out of date". So, CVS saved $1.09. Hope it was worth it, since if you'd just given me a refund, I wouldn't have to be writing this bad Yelp review. I'll never buy candy or other food there again, and I recommend you don't purchase any food items that may be expired, or not stored properly to keep them from going bad, prematurely. read more

I am so mad at CVS Pharmacy right now, I could just spit. They were sent a prescription earlier today for an antibiotic that I need to start immediately to continue fighting this MRSA infection. We're 5 miles out of town so they won't deliver but I'm immune compromised & also supposed to stay off my leg so I can't pick it up & Hubby can't drive at night so I called to make sure it would be ready when he got there. He also has a compromised immune system & shouldn't be going in there either but no other choice. Anyway, I explained the problem about driving & they said they "would try" to have it ready as soon as possible but they have to do the scripts in order so they couldn't promise anything!! I explained our problem & asked if they could possibly bring it to the car or even up front & was told (rather nastily) that they don't have enough personnel to do that. Apparently they don't care enough about their most vulnerable customers to bother hiring an extra person to walk meds from the back to the front. They won't be getting my business anymore & I hope they go broke!!! read more

I went to the CVS pharmacy on Lincoln Blvd next to Safeway. I picked up a prescription, Suprep. I went through the consultation on this medication provided by the pharmacy and was not told of any side effects. I got home and read the outside of the box before opening it; also no warnings of side effects but plenty of things "not to do". So I open it up and read through what I will need to do when it became necessary to use the product. At the very end of the documentation it mentions that there is the possibility of "abnormal heartbeats that can cause death, seizures, and kidney problems". Had I been told any of this I would not have accepted the product as there is an alternate method to prepare for a colonoscopy that has no side effects. When I went to return it I was told I couldn't because of federal law despite nothing inside the box having been opened. Because of their ineptness I am out $108. They are not the only ones to blame, however, as Capitol GI (part of Sutter?) did not warn me either. read more

I have been getting meds from this location for 6 years initially for my elderly Mom and now a couple for myself. But now since my discharge from the hospital I can believe their lack of care for their customers. I received a text they had my meds ready for pick up. When my wife went in to pick them up they didn't have one if the meds. They said it's not available in California unless they order it from LA and it would take a few days to get it. I gave them 4 days and called to see if I could pick it up. They had no notes in my file. They put me on hold then came back on the line and said they had faxed my doctor a request to go with an alternate med and said he hadn't responded yet. So I called my doctor and they had no record of Coorespondence with CVS regarding this med. I trust my Dr as we first met in high school. So my doctor called the pharmacy and got it straightened out. If I hadn't stayed on top of it I'd still be out and maybe dead as the only thing the pharmacy is concerned about is everyone getting their vaccines. Thinking that it closed at 9 they started this week to close at 8, so I was able to talked to Linda,the pharmacist. She took the time to go back in and fill my prescription. I was recently called out of state to California suddenly, and left without my meds, as I had just finished the bottle. I assumed I could refill it at a Calif CVS; I didn't know it would be difficult to refill, actually I thought quite the opposite because it was CVS. I quickly discovered that the particular drug I was being administered was not readily available in California, or at least not any more. I had called four CVS pharmacies that told me "we are out of stock", when Lincoln pharmacy said there were special circumstances with this drug and perhaps I should speak with the pharmacist. That was the first sign that I needed to discuss my prescription; that opened a discussion and ultimately lead to my receiving my prescription. I MUST add that Pharmacist COLIN did a ton of investigative legwork to get the prescription issued to me; it was NOT an easy task, oh, and the air conditioning was broken! THANK YOU, COLIN!!! Also, a shout out of thanks to the pharmacy attendant that opened up the discussion and possibility....she had a "can do" attitude!
