It was the only way I was going to be able to walk again, after being bed-bound for 7 weeks. This was the only place I could find one, but I had called right before they were closing for a 3 day weekend. I also lived about 1.5 hours away from them. They were so kind and offered to meet me the next day even though they were closed, so that I could purchase a post-op shoe. This just blew me away... talk about above and beyond. I asked for the reason and he said "you look way too young to be born in that year" now idk if he was flirting or policing but he did not ask anyone else in the store for their id.
