This Walmart is in my opinion like most Walmart's. This is a super Walmart with all the Walmart fixing. This one has a subway, customer service, nail salon, hair salon, eye glass facility and now at this time of year a place where you can have your taxes completed and let's not forget the pharmacy. I have to say the last few times I've visited the wait time in line was very minimal.

Apparently, there is a shortage of these shoes, and I needed one after having reconstructive surgery on my foot. It was the only way I was going to be able to walk again, after being bed-bound for 7 weeks. This was the only place I could find one, but I had called right before they were closing for a 3 day weekend. I also lived about 1.5 hours away from them. They were so kind and offered to meet me the next day even though they were closed, so that I could purchase a post-op shoe. This just blew me away... talk about above and beyond. I without a doubt would recommend this place for all your medical supplies and pharmacy needs. They have the best customer service you will ever find.

Pick up your prescription and grab a special greeting card or a gift for an out-of-town friend. Prescription costs are very, very reasonable if it's not covered by insurance. Their markup is shockingly low. Ask for Chet and tell him Mike and Sherry says hi. They will take good care of you. Much better than the grocery store or pharmacies or god-awful Walmart.

I first saw Dr. Vanikki last year due to a wide range of symptoms--neurological issues, chronic pain, heart palpitations, and signs of possible autoimmune disease. While she was kind in tone, I left the appointment feeling unheard and unsupported. She ran a basic autoimmune panel but declined to go further or refer me to rheumatology. A few weeks later, I saw another provider in the same clinic who referred me without hesitation, which confirmed to me that my request wasn't unreasonable. At the time, I was also experiencing nerve-related symptoms that were progressing. Though I do have fibromyalgia, I expressed concern that something deeper was going on. Unfortunately, those symptoms were attributed to fibro alone, and no imaging was ordered. It was only through my pain management provider that imaging was finally done--and it revealed significant cervical spine issues that now require surgical intervention. Early detection could have made a difference in my treatment plan and quality of life. Most recently, I returned to ask for help tapering off Tylenol 4, which I can no longer afford to obtain through my previous specialist. I also asked about low-dose naltrexone (LDN)--a medication I've had a positive experience with in the past, and one supported by growing research for chronic pain, inflammation, and mood regulation. I've also lost 65 pounds since January 2024 and have been stuck in a plateau since October, and naltrexone combined with Wellbutrin (which I already take) has been studied for additional support with weight regulation. Despite this, I was told my case was too complex and was encouraged to transfer care to another provider group. Earlier in my care, I also reported heart palpitations. A quick listen with a stethoscope was the extent of the evaluation, and I was told everything was fine. Later, I discovered through hospital records that I had a septal infarction sometime between 2012 and now--something that likely warranted further attention when I first brought up cardiac concerns. None of this is shared with anger--but with sadness and concern. I understand that doctors are under pressure, and that they can't always solve every issue in one visit. But patients like me--those with chronic, overlapping, and complex conditions--need more than reassurance. We need action. We need curiosity. We need providers who are willing to walk through the hard stuff with us. I know my case isn't simple, but I came prepared, informed, and ready to work together on solutions. What I needed was partnership. What I received instead was a series of missed opportunities. If you're managing chronic illness and need a provider who will dig deeper, advocate for you, and explore options beyond the standard--this may not be the right fit.

These are the first words that come to my head when I think of Palm's Medical Group, and the PA named Nicole! For the first time in a decade, my son has found the much-needed, much-appreciated, necessary help he has deserved! Nicole, thank you again for having the fortitude within one session to get a referral created and electronically sent to a specialist within our network, attend to a massive earache (left the office pain free), and get labwork done right in the office (1 business day later, the results were already in and a phone call was made to pass along the findings to us)! Did I mention that this was a " same day," squeeze in appointment? I am glad we have found a PA who cares so much!
