Worst store I've been to in 6 states. People are slow. Waiting over 15 min for assistance AFTER I pressed the assists buttons NEXT TO A MANNED REGISTER! No one offered to call for some one to come. This store is shameful The young man at the register near me spoke to who I assume is a lead or mgr and they literally , walked away between registers. After 25 minutes wait I left. When I order a photo banner, I expect to pick that banner up in the photo department. I do not expect an employee to talk rudely to me and tell me that I need to pick it up in the garden department. That alone makes zero sense. I then go to the garden department get told by them that no I have to go to Photos. So go back to Photos and when I get there the Asian gentleman that was working an older man yells at me and says didn't I tell you to go to gardening center? I ask him hey entertain me and just check to see if my banner is there. Sure enough, my banners there and all he can do is smile at me and say oh it's a photo banner. Today April 18th, we walked in to buy a car battery. The battery was right in front of us, we asked for assistance to open the locks, each person telling us the key is lost or they don't know where's the key. We requested to speak to the Manager, Tameka who refused to move, only wanted to lift her fingers to use the Walkie-talkie to tell other employees to go open it for us, these were the same employees who already told us they don't have the key, the key is lost somewhere; they don't know. We told Tameka, if she can please check the automotive area for the key, she said no. We couldn't believe the customer service... As a business owner ourselves, we spoke to so many other employees and quickly realized that this place is a dumpster fire and being ran to the ground. This place is going to be closing soon, it's just a matter of time... so sad! read more

Walmart can no longer match in store to its own online prices. I'm standing in store looking at the product I want, the associate in the department tells me they cannot sell it to me at the online price. They tell me to order it online and go back to the .com department to see if they'd be able to help me with it. The online department says they can't fulfill the order until the next day and they can't convert the order to delivery. No one is able to reach the supervisor coach brian who might actually have answers or be able to assist so they told me to wait for him until back from lunch. I've been waiting for 2 hrs now still no supervisor. They tell me to go to customer service to talk to someone else who has no solutions or answers. Sadly I'm going to stick with Amazon clearly Walmart still doesn't have things figured out juggling the online and in-store dilemma. No answers and lots of waiting for someone no one can reach, while everyone was friendly this was a horrible customer service experience. Please do something better. read more

This particular location holds a lot of memories for me. I've known this Walmart since I was a kid. I've actually sold some chocolate here and Girl Scout cookies here. Ahhh good times! Anyways, it's time to focus on the now. The now is that it's as busy as ever. Pandemic or not that this is still the spot where the community goes to to shop for their needs. Walmart is another option for buying groceries, home items, electronics, etc. Personally, I go here to grab office supplies because I mail a lot of items out every Monday. So it's nice to buy in bulk here! I've noticed the effort to try to keep everyone six feet a part here and to make sure things follow safety guidelines. But in all honesty, it's hard because there's so many people in here. Depending on the day, things can be really organized here. Everything is in place and neat. But customers can overturn things fast and employees may not be as fast to restore the order. I like how there's a different line for when you do money orders. It makes buying gift cards so much quicker! I love the choices in gift cards and I come here to do it. Prices here are relatively good. When they have sales for particularly holiday seasons, the prices get better. I wouldn't recommend coming here on the actual holiday. Parking is outrageous, too many people (especially during a pandemic) and it's wild. 4/10 I have dealt with amazing people who work here. It's hard to be there. I have seen them come upon some stressful things and I wish them well. But I have met rude employees here and it was not cool. Sometimes they don't want to assist you. Sometimes they seem reluctant to do anything. The parking here is outrageous. Sometime it seems like there is nowhere to park. Also I have seen the aftermath of some cars that had been broken into. So be aware of what can be seen inside your car. Anyways, being here is a tossup for the most part. It depends on your attitude as well as the behavior of the employees. 3/5 read more

I was early for an apartment tour in the area (on Saturday), and made a stop by Walmart to kill some time. I picked up a couple of essentials. One of them being a saline nasal spray from the allergy aisle , which required me to push an employee for assistance. It was locked up behind a partition (which is something I'm familiar with shopping a few Walmart locations in Sacramento). It's a small annoyance, which today I had time to wait for someone to come by. The bathroom here is gross. It's a decent sized Walmart and most aisles appeared well stocked. It was right before 10am on a Saturday, and wasn't at all crowded. I didn't wait in line long before checking out with a cashier. It's a typical Walmart. It seems kind of old and outdated in appearance. But, it meet my needs for what I needed while I was here. read more

If you're black, prepare to be constantly followed by 2+ "secret shoppers" the whole time you're in there. I hate shopping at this fucking store because their secret shoppers are annoying as hell!!! As soon as you walk in there's people following you. "Secret shoppers" standing in the middle of isles while you're in it staring at the products n never grabbing anything, but somehow they end up in the next isle you go to. Don't shop here. I've been so close to calling them out so many times because it's that ridiculous, at least give me a few feet of space if you're gonna follow me around. This is the biggest problem here, they really think they're being so slick but it's discriminating and disgusting. Not to mention literally everything is locked up. There aren't many call buttons, and when you find one, you'll be waiting 10+ min for someone to come help if you don't go ask someone to help you before that. All of the black hair products in a separate section so you can't leave that section without paying first. No Apple Pay, only "Walmart Pay" which only works thru the app, and lines are absolutely ridiculous for all of the traffic this walmart gets. Rude employees, mainly the ones on the floor and not at the registers, at least in my experience. Multiple times i'll ask where something is or for help and get mean mugged by the young bitches working there. Peeking around corners when i'm speaking loudly bc no one is helping me, like???? You literally have to cause a scene to get some help!! Antioch has bad reviews too, but Antioch Walmart triumphs Pittsburg Walmart by 1000x. I like Walmart stores. I think they offer competitive prices for a lot of products compared to other stores, and I think their superstores contain a huge variety of items which are fun to look at or you could do a one stop shop here at the store. However, I thought this specific Walmart was kind of messy, and the isles were not labeled/numbered in a clear manner so it felt like I was walking in a maze when I was here yesterday. And the store also did not really replenish some of the products like other Walmarts that I've been to. For example, I was looking for "great value" brand soda yesterday but all of the diet or zero ones were out of stock, so I ended up buying none. So, that definitely impacts how I feel about this store. Overall, I wasn't really impressed by this specific Walmart store. read more

I have had an appointment for oil change on Sat Jun 7 at 7:30am, I came at 7:25, there was a line already of 5 or so cars, I took my place at the line, there also was a stand who says wait here and you will be served. I was waiting for 1 hr 15 min, the personal took 2 cars in box to work on them and they definetly saw me in the line. I've been patiently waiting, then guy approached me finally and asked what kind of service do I need, I told him him that I have an appointment, he asked my phone number then I was told that I missed my appointment... I said that I was here on the time, he registered my car, I came inside, one hour later I found my car at the same spot I left it, I took my key back and was about to lieve but decided to provide my feedback where I said that I would never spend any penny at Walmart, I got a response from one of employees- We don't care! I refuse to buy BLACK hair care products from here any longer. It's already bad enough, that they put the whole makeup/ skin care/ black hair care product lines in a separate section where we have to pay for everything before leaving the section, mind you half the items are already behind glass... but last week they moved the whole black hair care genre to the wall behind the cashier that always has a line wrapping around so basically I will never be able to comfortably browse for what I need without having to squeeze by people in a time where violation of my 6ft of social distancing will get you cussed out if not more... and a lot of products I tend to buy on the fly cause it sounds like something I want to try. Not sure how I went from paying for rotation when I paid to have it rotated without being charge. There must be something in the paperwork that now said I have to pay every time I get service there. This is one of the worst Walmarts ever. They absolutely refuse to open more than two lines. No matter what. So if the store is packed and the two open lines are way down the aisles, they will not open another line. You will see other employees walking down the aisles laughing or goofing off. But they won't go open another register. There is no self serve registers and it's the only Walmart I know of that doesn't have this. Of all the places that need a self serve, it's this place. This is the last place you want to spend a lot of time in. You can tell the people who frequent this place are not of the best character. And how can you tell? Because EVERYTHING is under glass. Not just medicine. I mean if you want some socks, you have to find an employee to open the glass. They have a call button but no one ever responds to it. I have no idea why it's there because it serves no purpose. Want some underwear? Find someone to open the glass. There are only two registers open at any time, where the hell are the employees when you need the glass open? Let me rephrase that - the employees with the keys. Sometimes you can find an employee - but they never have the keys. I mean honestly, does someone run this store? Or do employee just do what they want? I mean cough drops. Under glass. Are the scumbags stealing all the cough drops to make a special type of meth? Yeah, the customers in the store have no manners because they're from Pittsburg, a town that prides itself on people who never understood basic courtesy. People block the small aisles with their carts and get mad if you want to get by. No one ever uses a divider on the check out belt (If I ever see someone use a divider in Pittsburg I'm going to reward them with a 20 spot right there, just out of shock). If you like rap music, there are four or five different areas in the parking lot where the idiots blast it so loud, I'm surprised the glass on their cars don't break. Watch the people who park in the handicapped spaces. I defy you to find one person with an actual handicapped placard. You can see the folks drive up, park in the handicapped spot and walk in find. Go to their car. Any evidence of them being handicapped? Nope. I can't stand people who do this. There are handicapped folks who need those spaces. These are also prime spots for people blasting rap music, I guess because it's close to the store and they want people inside to hear. But it's normal for this Walmart. Bad customer. I rent rug doctors from this location because it is around the corner from my house. But everytime I come in the machine is off and the employees don't want to help. I have to hard reset the machine MYSELF as the managers won't even come over to look at it. They just say it's not working and can't help me even though I already paid for the rental. All it takes is a reset and they are aware of it, they just don't want to deal with it. I came in the morning so it wasn't even busy, they're just lazy. If they don't want to turn the machine on then they should cancel their contract. A 2 minute pick up turns into 20 minutes in the store, it's ridiculous. read more

Walmart usually gets a bum rap. The infamous People Of Walmart are usually not overrunning the place. The merchandise is not junk. And the employees appear to be enjoying themselves. So where are all the Walmart haters getting their information from? Well . . . probably this Walmart. I remember when this was the only Walmart in the area. It's the only place where I've gotten up very early on Black Friday to get something. Now there are Walmarts in other places within a mile of Highway 4, so you don't need to make the trek out to Picksburg. Over the last few years, the ghetto has switched from Pittsburg to Antioch. Not that Pittsburg is middle class yet. And the town still has rough edges. You can find the rough edges here. The store is laid out in much the same way as other Walmarts, only it's a little grubbier. Has most of what you need, one-stop shopping. Not a Super Walmart (i.e., no groceries). Very close to 4. It doesn't feel unsafe, but I still wouldn't go there after the sun goes down. The staff may be smiling a little, but they're still not much help if you need customer service. And it's more likely that you'll run into some of the People Of Walmart here. But hey, it works! read more
