Once checked in it took the tech 3 hours to replace 4 tires?!?! The whole experience is unlike any other Tire service center......they make Discount tire seem like the Taj Mahalo of tire centers. Everything is very cryptic and not transparent. They can't even tell you what measurement they torqued your wheels to your car. No customer service to speak of....tires are great....prices are like $60 lower per tire compared to other reputable tire centers.....guess you need to pay a premium for customer service these days. read more

Gosh, this is a hard one! This place can be considered hell on earth with nonstop peak hours BUT, it does offer the basics you need and the cashiers do their best to handle the lines. My main peeve is that non pickup order customers will park in the pickup only spaces and so you'll pull up with nowhere to park and then have to fight your way once a spot opens. read more

I had a 10 a.m. tire replacement appointment today. I waited for approximately 10 minutes trying to figure out which staff (2-3 roaming around) was going to check me in as I was waiting outside next to my vehicle. I flagged one staff down and he directed me to park closer to the tire stall, which I did. Another 5 minutes had elapsed until I decided to search for a staff inside the reception area. No staff present, but a line filled with customers. Finally, staff appeared 10 minutes later. He then directed me to go back outside to look for staff so that I can get "checked-in" ....45 minutes later, my car gets checked in! So, what was the point in making an appointment if I had to wait around that long?! Oh, and to top this, my tire could not be located. Listen to your gut feeling. You better be very careful and check your receipts from your returns. I returned 5 items today at the store and looked at my return receipt. I noticed from all the items I returned that the return amount didn't seem right. I asked for the return receipt and sure enough Mary only scanned that I returned 4 items. When I told her, she told me she scanned them all, then proceeded to look through the items I had returned. She said she remembered she scanned an item but there was no record of it on my return receipt. They only give you a summary receipt. Could have been a mistake, or Mary was trying to pull a fast one on me I don't know but this will be the last time I go to Walmart. read more

This store does not value the customer's time. Many items are locked behind glass counters. When you ask an employee for assistance, they tell you they do not have a key. When you ring the bell for assistance you can spend 10 minutes waiting for help. The shelfs are often unstocked. Bad management and some employees do not speak english. I live right down the street. I've never really enjoyed this place too much. It's just a cash cow though because there's so little in the way of shopping around here unless you want to drive 15 minutes. Normally, the inferiority of service between here and other nearby stores - which also tend to have people that don't give a hoot about you - isn't enough to move along. I recently heard Doug McMillon or another Walmart exec. say that with Amazon in the game, there's absolutely no place for substandard service. Great lip service, but if you have to wait 10 minutes and then go out and start tracking people down just to get a hair trimmer... And then be dragged by your hand practically to a separate checkout area that you didn't want to go to yet because you don't have all your items... It's just really bad. This is a good neighborhood on the precipice of a pretty bad one. Theft at the store must have been pretty bad to go to this situation. In that case then, the person in charge of the locked cases working the adjacent section should be keeping their ears open so that myself, and the two guys I found waiting after me for the same reason, can get their products. I informed the individual and she said oh, I'll go help them. Great, they wasted 10 minutes waiting around too. I hope they were done with their shopping too, so they didn't have to go through two lines like I did. So you're welcome WalMart, I did some free work to help you out today. What is the point of having a Walmart near your house if EVERY time you need something from behind the glasses it's takes them over 30 min of you pushing the button and asking ever worker that passes by if they have a key. The store is not a SUPER GIANT Walmart compared to some but they do a decent job. Sure if you get there late in the day some fast moving items will already be sold out off shelves. A lot of our Baja friends come here which adds to their business. This store recently had a remodel in which they some how expanded free space areas in including a large number of self service check out machines. Staff has always been helpful. Most recently an associate in the frozen food section named Angel along with many others over the years. Yes they are all "angels" indeed at this location. My husband goes back to let them know and before even checking anything the lady at customer service says "no you got it because we have it on camera"... my husband asks "ok, can I see the camera then" they say "no you can't" he persists to ask for a manager and she walks him to the lane we were at earlier. She proceeds to say "yes your son put it in the cart" "can I see the video pls" "no you can't" WHY? Why can't we see the footage if they are accusing of us lying?? It's complete BS!! Okay I live next to this Wal*Mart and it's the one I frequent. Here's some tips: 1. Do not park directly in the Wal*Mart parking lot. It's like a freggin' war zone. Park near Sunny's Fashion/Sally Beauty Supply. 2. Majority don't how to yield to the right of way or even stop at the stop signs, so be careful. It's all about car body language. 3. Do not come here after working hours between 5-6:30ish on weekdays. It's hell. I go at night or even before closing. 4. Welfare/EBT card funds or whatever you want to call it are distributed the first weekend of the month (like the Bone Thugs N' Harmony song). The lines are freakin' ridiculous during these times, TRUST. 5. This Wal*Mart is a get in, get out place. Make a list, check it twice, get your junk, then get out. Other than that even though it's crazy and everyone and their mama is there they always have a good stock and I order my contacts and get my eye prescription at the Vision Center and the doctor is pretty cool. read more

Their management needs replacement and a complete turn-around. They need to retrain their employees and let go of the ones who do not improve. The prices may be the only good thing about this place. Parking is terrible. People are rude with parking. I have almost gotten run over twice by people in their cars not looking at all where they were going. The service is terrible. I only encountered one English-speaking "customer service representative." I don't bother asking for help because almost no one there speaks English. How can you be in an English-speaking city, country and not speak the language? I've never encountered so many rude customers who, in other stores would have been escorted out. This particular Wal-Mart has gotten worse over the years...and by worse, I don't mean by Wal- Mart's standards. They're soooo busy! They recently did a remodel which included adding more food items and broadening selection. It's not quite a Super Center, but it's their cousin. Ditch your cart if you can and grab a hand held one, otherwise you'll take forever getting through the aisles. When I get one I always have regrets and am quickly reminded when I have to park it down a random aisle and walk my items back to it. Major cart tracking jams here! The best part about this location is the self-checkout which for some reason many don't use often. I'm always baffled at why the lines are long and self-checkout isn't. Even though there is an option to switch languages on the machine, I'm thinking it may be due to the language barrier as it is located in a diverse, yet primarily latino community in South Bay. Maybe the customers aren't sure how to operate it or it's just not their preference. It works in my favor! I only use self-check out here. I've returned something once and they were efficient.
