Great weeknight to get in, pickup a prescription, shop a little, then self checkout quickly. Tonight it was super packed! There are soma really great prices happening during this Holiday Season. Plush blankets for $14.99, Frigidaire Ice Maker for $169, beautiful 3 set Christmas ornament balls for $31.99, LOTS of food deals to prep for the Holidays...I spotted Toffee Cashews large tin for $8.69! I would like to have given a five star review because the customer service at this Costco is always excellent. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for me today, and because of 1 employee Eduardo. I went in to make a price adjustment which is supervisor approved, however, I was waiting for my daughter who had the card that was needed to refund the money. Once my daughter came and provided the card the price adjustment was processed. At the end of the transaction, I asked Eduardo if I could, please have my receipt. He told me he had given it to me, and I asked him again and clarified that I was looking for my original purchase receipt. All of a sudden he gave me attitude and became aggressive, while raising his voice at me telling me that he had given it to me and that it was in my hands. I looked down, and I did realize the receipt was in my hands, and I apologized for not having seen it in the first place. Even after my apology, for not realizing I had the receipt in my hand he was still rude and condescending in the way in which he spoke to me. I asked him why he was being so rude, and he shooed me away with his hand. I'd like to add that at times I have trouble processing information due to an injury, and I felt extremely embarrassed by the way that he spoke to me in front of other people. This is the worst Costco in the country. It is not like other Costcos. This one is so MISMANAGED. The lines to check out are horrendous. At 9:30am, when only executive members are shopping, they have TWO check out lines open. I spent 20 minutes trying to check out. It is a rarity to see a friendly employee at this location. I had a rating for this Costco as low. The customer service at the food court is awful. But today I had the next experience. My contactless pay was not working at the pump (putting gas) and the attendant educated me that you need a physical card. Ok, I didn't know that. But he was SO NICE! He scanned the membership card and I used my card at the pump. Just the way he was so nice. He was understanding. I appreciated him. Especially because I had 10 miles left in my car and no wallet. I've been going to this Costco for the past 12 years but as of recently (my last 4 visits) the customer service here is horrible. It was never like this. Employees are rude and snarky. It's happened to me, and I've seen it happen to another couple. It's disappointing and unwelcoming. Went to Broadway which I never do and wow, no rude or miserable employees. This is my favorite Costco location. They always got what I'm looking for example groceries, electronics, and furniture. Its definitely you one stop shop for you home necessities. The only thing that I hate about it I come in for one thing and I leave with 100 things. It never fails. This store is handy dandy. Especially when you need to buy by the bulk to keep your big family satisfied. I have been coming to this location since I was a kid and it's still here. The staff they have are always in a happy smiling mood and they have been their for every. Majority of the staff their is like family always takes the time to say hi and how your doing. I've been going to this Costco location for the past 10+years & never have I ever encountered such terrible customer service from an associate like I have with Ernesto. I have done returns two times with Ernesto and every time he makes you feel so uncomfortable doing returns. He makes you feel like you're doing a scam. In his words he told me to shop somewhere else if my food was not good. He denied calling upper management by saying one was at lunch and the other was busy. I told him I wouldn't mind waiting and he told me to wait outside and not block other people returning items. I am considering taking this incident to corporate. His behavior is unacceptable and not appropriate to be working at a customer service desk. His work energy matches a position in the restroom cleaning toilets. read more

Horrible customer service when picking up your pizza that you ordered 45 mins ago. The employees were very rude, no structure they had several people standing there waiting for their order. I recommend avoiding this Costco, especially if you're black. I've been coming here for 10+ years and yesterday was by far my worst experience. Not only has the customer service gone way down, I was treated like a criminal by my cashier. My wife and I have a Costco credit card and I happened to have forgot my card at home so I was using hers to pay as she was not feeling well and decided to stay in the car. Normally when we pay it's not an issue as she's used my card to pay and vice versa. No one has ever checked or thought twice when we use each other's cards for whatever reason, especially when my wife uses mine as she's a petite Asian woman. I am tall, black and have a lot of tattoos so I guess that gave the cashier the right to ask for my ID and ask me 21 questions about not having my card on me. On top of that, she demanded I have my wife come inside. I understand policy but we know for a fact the cashiers do not check the way this woman did yesterday. She acted like I was committing a crime by using MY credit card that I PAY FOR just because it belongs to my wife. We will probably not be going to this location anymore and I will also be contacting the manager and possibly corporate about this matter. read more

Checked in eye glasses by text needed an additional text waited 10-15 minutes if I hadn't asked would've never been seen waited total of 35 -40 minutes because I was placed behind the customers that I arrived before. The hispanic young guy should've taken the time to help me after asking him I even told him I've never checked in the new way instead of physical ticket . Let me start by saying I LOVE Costco, but this particular Costco makes the shopping experience absolutely miserable. The parking lot was designed by an 8 year old with ADHD and a box of crayons. Getting in and out is ridiculous and don't get me started on trying to get gas here anytime after 0630. The biggest problem is honestly that they need to build another Costco in this town. They're trying to serve too many people with one Costco. It is frustrating to pay for a membership I can't use as much as I'd like. There have been several occasions where I have circled the parking lot for 10 minutes and finally left. The lines inside aren't any better. You will routinely stand behind 15 people in a line that stretches well into the food aisles making it really difficult to access those aisles. I have a large family and we spend a lot of money on food. We'd easily spend double at Costco if the only one within 30 minutes of my house weren't so poorly designed and miserable to shop at. Costco, get your crap together and add a shop to Chula. This side of town has doubled since this location was built and you can't keep up but you don't mind collecting the membership fees for people you cannot adequately provide services to! read more

I waited over an hour to have some meat cut. The cutter was on a forever break. And no one could help me because they had to be certified. The supervisor assured me they would be back from lunch in 4 minutes. I waited an additional 20. No one came. Then when I told the supervisor again no one showed up. He went back there and the employee said no one was there. That was a lie. I waited and when I finally left it was to head to the register to leave. I don't know what happened to Costco. This poor rating is meant for a particular customer service staff at the Pharmacy. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day but her attitude was very inappropriate, almost rude, not friendly at all. She should work back office and not at the front facing customers because she does not have the proper attitude at all!!! It was the first time I've used the Pharmacy at this branch and now I'm thinking of just sticking it out with my regular pharmacy after that incident. read more
