Ever since the Walmart in Seffner, FL opened, I've shopped there when I just want to git er done and get back home. It's small enough that I don't have to walk so far to find what I'm looking for and they usually have what I need. If I'm in a larger town and feel like I have time to just browse around, I may go to one of the super centers and spend some time. I'm just not that big on staying in a store for long. Give me a smaller store like Seffner's store any day and this one is closest to my home as well. read more

I was surprised to see that this Walmart wasn't like the ones we have back home. This location seemed dated like it's still in its original state. As small as it was, it pretty much has all the essentials and then some. I see it very convenient if you want to walk in grab what you know you came there for, pay then walk out. The thing I did not realize is that you are not charged for plastic shopping bags. I was advised that goes for the state. I did buy a shopping tote to add to my collection. Lol of course I got caught up taking pictures for yelp I forgot everything on my list. read more

I haven't a Walmart like this in ages. Another reviewer said it feels like an outlet store and that's a great description. This Walmart is about the size of a Neighborhood Walmart except it has all the sections of a regular one. There were enough of a selection of clothes to be useful and the bathrooms were clean. The grocery store selection was about the same amount as a decent gas station or cvs store. The cashier was nice and quick and we got what we needed. Worst Walmart in town. Some employees very nice and helpful, others are definitely not. Store is messy and unorganized. One time I waited (no exaggeration) 30 minutes on a slow Tuesday afternoon for help in electronics. No cashier. I pressed the buzzer about 100 times. Asked 4 separate employees in different departments to radio in for help in electronics. Still nothing. There was a line behind me. I eventually left. That's just one incident. Been going here for years but I'm done. I drive extra miles to avoid this location now. read more

God awful, messy, unorganized, just felt like a flea market walking in. This place needs a serious upgrade! Just throw the whole store away.

This location is just to pick up something real quick you forgot about kind of thing, don't expect too much. It's not like the super center nor a neighborhood market, something between those two. They don't have fresh produce (veggies, fruits, etc) and food wise is very limited. They do have a Subway inside and the garden center has a few cute plants. I can't get a refund. I bought AA rechargeable batteries online at Walmart.com. AAA batteries arrived and they were opened. I followed their online return system. I got this response. Dear Gerry Thanks for your message. In this case,we would like to issue you a partial refund of 10% and you can send them to your friends,or else,we would like to send you the RMA number and return address,which would you prefer? At the customer service counter Wendy the assistant manager said the manager I spoke to was wrong. And there is nothing she can do. So here is the WARNING in this review. Walmart does not refund products that you purchase online at full price. Walmart uses 3rd party vendors and it is a "purchase at your own risk" policy. But Walmart online does not clearly identify which products are 3rd party vendors, so everything must be assumed as a "purchase at your own risk" policy. I normally don't have an issue other than the typical size of this location , and sometimes you can't find what you need because of it being a small selection , workers are normally polite EXCEPT for tonight Mary a white older women with long hair , gave me an attitude right off the bat over a shirt not having a tag on it I grabbed another tag and she flipped out saying it's not the same size , and she didn't finish ringing up my items and asked if this was it and I said no but actually I don't want anything ( there wasn't a long line just me and my mother ) and she said ugh okay then and she was pissed complaining to my mother how she has to call someone since I didn't buy anything and she has to put the items in a cart and then she said have a nice day nasty so I told her if you need to learn some customer service , because your rude , I'm not buying my items because I'm uncomfortable idc how old you are , you do not be rude to me , specially when I didn't do anything to you to Provoke your attitude . I come here a lot I know we don't matter really atleast that's how you make us feel Walmart and to be more specific I came in there at 9:00pm and we were at register 4 to do shopping . This Wal-Mart is by far the worst one I've been to and doesn't deserve a lengthy review. The only reason I was there was to purchase the new Deadpool blu-ray. My cashier was Cecilia, she had the urgency of a corpse. She didn't have the "key" to unlock the disc from the security device, so she very slowly waddled over to retrieve said key. Awful customer service. Hazel the manager is awful and rude. She said Walmart doesn't price match on school supplies. She would not tell me where she heard that from or where it says that on Walmart's website. I had Walmart's policy pulled up and she refused to read it. I called corporate after and they said Hazel was wrong and they don't know why she would say that. She treated me so rudely and embarrassed me. Then walked off while I was still talking. This is NOT a full grocery store. It reminds me of an old K-Mart when they had a few rows of food items. Seems like they have everything else but a good food selection. There is a Publix across the parking lot. read more

No milk. Your telling me, there is a whole section and a half of beer and a whole other whole section of wine and no milk? And people wonder why the country sucks and it's because there are more drunk people then there are healthy people. What if the world was ending with a plague of zombies and very few survivors. And one of them was a mom with a young child of one years old and she needed milk and the closet place was that Walmart and Publix but the Publix was over run by zombies so she couldn't go there. Don't even waste your time at this Walmart. The stock is very limited and they often don't even keep basic items in stock on the shelves such as bread, ice, popular sodas or bottled water. Doesn't matter what time of day you go in, there will probably be palettes of products in the middle of the already narrow aisles that aren't being stocked. The employees here are incredibly rude and act like you are annoying them if you have a question. I've experienced everything from a cashier making rude sexual comments about items I was purchasing to a group of five employees laughing and sitting around and when I asked for help they literally told me no and continued talking. It's honestly not even worth it, just drive to one of the nearby super stores where you'll find everything you need and experience better customer service. Oh and just a heads up, they don't carry milk, cheese, yogurt or any dairy products at this store. (Other than a small selection of ice cream) read more

Not only was this Walmart the worst I've ever been in, it felt very unsafe inside and outside. I felt as though I was going to have to defend myself at any given moment! And it was daylight! Got called the "b" word just for driving safely in the parking lot! Most of the people going in and out looked as though they thought it might be Halloween and large gang-like groups hanging out in the parking lot. Not a desirable setting. My husband and I went in with a list but quickly changed our mind and just prayed we could get back to the car safely. Wish I could have given 0 stars! Horrible place to shop. As Wal-Mart's go an average store is 3stars, but this store deserves to go through a revamp from the ground up. The store itself is outdated and ill equipped, their coolers are always under maintenance or severely understocked. Their, "Customer Severice" ranks with the likes of trailer park porches or in the middle of the hood, depends on what time you go and who you get. Managers are spending most of the time managing Instagram or Facebook, or on a break, where they can be found suffocating themselves in cancer out front. The store is rarely stocked like other Wal-Mart's in the area, and you never get everything you go for, always going immediately to a different store or another location. I live 2 miles from the Martin Luther King and mango road location, and my family always chooses to drive the teen miles into Brandon to do our Wal-Mart excursions. This place is nasty and totally reflects its core demographic. 1/5 stars. I would've rated 0, but that is not an option. Revamp, refurbish, and re-manage/re-employ and some day this store can aspire to be an average location.... read more
