Decently new Walmart Supercenter that was surprisingly in stock when I was checking it out today. I found what I wanted in the grocery section and also checked the automotive area for some RV things. The parking lot was tidy this morning with most of the cart corrals empty. I did not see any trash about. Inside, there is a mask requirement but it is not enforced. All of the associates I saw were wearing masks, most of them correctly. Many of the customers were also wearing masks. Shelves were stocked and the softlines area was tidy. This is obviously a new Walmart. Or recently massively renovated. Large like most and it has a gas station as well. Fairly easy parking, although they have plenty of reserved spaces for "our friends in law enforcement", "mothers with toddlers" and more. read more

I hate working harder than the employees. The pharmacy ignores you while you stand at the counter. The floor employees just stand around on their phones while the customers work. You can't get help on the floor if something is locked up. So you can't buy the product. Walmart must be the best place to work for before work is the last thing Walmart expects from their employees. The personal shoppers will mow you down and think nothing of it. read more

Absolutely the worse Wal-mart in the area by far, employees are rude, arrogant, and will literally turn away and go the other direction if they even think you are going to ask for assistance. One register open with 8 people in line and two employees watching self checkout with crossed arms, when I step up to purchase a duffle bag and bag of dog treats one of them runs over and says she will have to search the bag, so I am held up for several minutes while she slowly goes through the bag because she knows I am in a hurry, of course there is nothing in it so she starts telling me about how people steal items and its her job to make sure that doesn't happen, so I asked if she is so worried why not open a couple more registers. She said we have registers open, I point to the line of probably twenty registers and show her there is one register open and several people waiting, to which she reply's "I just do as I am told" I could go on and on but honestly if you must shop at Wally World hop on interstate 81 South and drive 15 minutes to the Bristol location, totally different experience there, and the employees are well trained and friendly. read more

so i was going to shop here but my grandma needs a ride cart to get around so i was looking for one and asked like 5 times for an employee to help me and after getting there attention they just walked off and they don't get any cart fixed so we had to leave if i could give it 0 stars i would read more

I hate this Walmart. It is junky. Ever since it came to town it has made the side of town that it is located in junky too. (for instance they have attracted businesses like the new gas station across the street that advertises that they have beer and wine permanently on their signage, right above the gas prices which just seems..wrong some how) I feel like it has sucked the life out of the area. They have remodeled the store recently and it is not for the better. Everything always looks picked over. The employees are extremely rude. Things are sometimes so overpriced which is sad because lets face it that's the only thing that Walmart has ever had going for them, so they've lost that. It is like shopping in a prison. They've also done away with a large portion of their cashiers which is difficult. On the good side you don't have to deal with the rude employees but there is also something disturbing about how little Walmart values the people that have built them up. They have turned all the other grocery stores and even the local health food store in the area into tiny annoying replicas of the soul sucking greed that they represent. This is a sickening place to shop. It is also somewhat sketchy in the parking lot especially after dark. read more
