Now they're saying at rite aid that the dr wrote it to be filled on the 3rd. My husband is wasting gas. They're playing games. They told him now. It will be ready today now at 11:00. They just told me on the phone 11:30. This pharmacy is treating me like a drug addict!! They lie to me and they lie to my husband. This is the reason I stopped taking this medication YEARS ago. Because they were treating me like this. And after such severe pain and unable to exercise or even do chores, after gaining over 60 pounds. I agreed with my dr to go back on it. And now they're doing the same thing. To me And treating me the same way. I've been a patient at this pharmacy since it was Thrift drug store in the Safeway parking lot as a 8 year old little girl. This pharmacy is completely unprofessional as I just got hung up on twice. And it's "700 prescriptions behind" according the "Chris" there at the Anderson location. Christina the pharmacy manager obviously doesn't know how to run the place. It's going down hill fast and losing tons of customers and I'm about to be one of them. The doctor informed me he was sending the prescription to Anderson RX. I was on my way to Anderson to pick it up unsure if being so late, it would be filled that night. Not even five minutes later, I received a call from Anderson RX reminding me they were closing soon. When I arrived they were very friendly, even being so close to their closing timeframe I received my prescription. First pharmacy who looked up our insurance information and updated it without us having to provide new cards. Walgreens will not do that! Anderson RX is by far the best! We drive from Redding just to go to there, it's worth the drive for the service.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at CVS Pharmacy…read more I'm honestly still very upset about my experience at the CVS pharmacy on 8/14. I was recently prescribed a new medication for anxiety and had a few completely reasonable questions for the pharmacist about how it works, potential interactions, and how long it may take before I notice an effect. Instead of providing helpful information, the older pharmacist questioned why my doctor had prescribed the medication. She actually told me, "Your doctor diagnosed you with something else and isn't telling you." Hearing this was incredibly upsetting and alarming. I was already starting a new medication for anxiety, and rather than reassuring me or simply looking into the medication, I was made to question whether my doctor had been honest with me about my own diagnosis and treatment. I explained that the medication had been prescribed off-label for anxiety, but she continued to question the prescription. She eventually looked it up and confirmed that the medication is, in fact, used for anxiety. What was especially disappointing was that she never apologized or acknowledged how serious and upsetting that statement was. I left feeling embarrassed, confused, and honestly like I was being made to feel crazy for simply asking questions about my own medication. Pharmacists have an incredibly important role in patient care. Patients should feel safe asking questions without being judged, frightened, or made to doubt their doctors and diagnoses. Statements like this can be especially harmful to someone already dealing with anxiety and could potentially cause a patient to become afraid to take medication that was appropriately prescribed. I sincerely hope CVS management takes this experience seriously. Patients deserve compassion, professionalism, and accurate information--especially when it comes to mental health and starting a new medication. Please do better, CVS.

Most all other pharmacies close on Sunday! This location inside the Walmart Supercenter in Anderson is on my way to Redding or on my way back to Red Bluff and I'm always traveling back and forth a lot, so it's super easy access on and off the 5 freeway in south Anderson. I just do most of my refills via on online site. You can set up an online pharmacy account that's separate from the regular Walmart account but both are accessible from walmart.com. It gives you access to all your prescriptions and amount of refills you have left of each drug. This pharmacy app works pretty good, I gotta say. You'll get texts or emails when your stuff is ready to pick up. You can change pharmacy locations as well, so if I wanna get my stuff in Red Bluff, I can.

All in all I would give cottonwood drugs between a 3:00 and 3/4 and 4 and 1/2 stars no business is five stars at all I don't care who they say they are.
