My overall experience here is not bad. For the most part this location offers everything that my family needs. The staff has been friendly anytime that we've interacted with them and for the most part the store has items that we need. There are those occasions where things run out but for us at least it doesn't seem like it happens too frequently. I prefer mom and pop shops rather than huge large corporate chains. But out of the sake of convenience and our location not having many of those it would seem this does the job. Just moved here not that long ago and will continue to explore the area for possible recommendations. read more

Antioch, Ill. Rt173-This location used to be excellent. Uhhh! Nowadays, not so much. In almost every department, especially Groceries, ordinary products like toothpicks, tamales and pasta are either not stocked, out of stock or missing in action. I asked a hispanic lady employee where the tamales are and she didn't know what tamales are. Now that's special. Numerous employees didn't have a clue. The last two times we ordered online and had our groceries delivered was horrible and put us in a financial crisis. A few days before Christmas we spent approximately $700.00. We were double charged!! Walmart took approximately $1400 out of our account. We had a negative $386.00 in our account. We were unable to go to our family Christmas, no gas, late bills. I called Walmart support immediately and told them how crucial it is to take off the double charge. I was told we would not get the money back until every single item that was not available at Walmart and had to be delivered was delivered. This screwed us. This has happened to us at least a handful of times. We no longer will be ordering from here. We missed Christmas, late bills etc. read more

3/31/2026 - Purchase qty 6 - 12 pack bottles of Dt Mt Dew as they were shown to be on sale for $6.00 - Double checked the shelf to make sure they were on sale - that's why I bought 6. Upon getting home I noticed the charges me the regular price of $ 8.62 each. Went back to the store which is not my normal store (30 min out of my way) to tell them of this mistake and confirm the sale price however Pepsi was restocking the shelves and the tag read the normal price. Talked to the Lead person and store manager who said she could give me $2.00 credit on one of them. Should have been $15.72 not $2.00 - What an insult, bait and switch - I will no longer buy anything from Walmart even if I have to pay twice as much. When we first moved to Wisconsin we went to this Walmart in Antioch it was a real nice store. Now since they did that remodel went down hill. My husband who is disabled and a veteran went to Walmart to get a few things and a ham. When he checked out he grabbed his bags off the wheel and the cashier did not check the wheel and my husband left without his ham. He got half way home when he realized he did not have the ham , he turned around to go back and when he went to the store the cashier said that she called after him but my husband said she lied that she never called after him. They usually check the wheel before the customer leaves but she did not and did not call after him and the employees standing around did not come after him. We will go to aldi next time and pack our own groceries. My husband is disabled and had to turn around and go back in bad driving conditions. The cashiers should be checking the wheels. read more

I had a $150 order. upon arrival driver delivered to wrong door. instructions state deliver to patio door only. this guy delivers the order to the front door and then takes off. also one item that I purchased as a two pack showed up as a one pack. Seriously, Walmart? There's a tornado warning while I was driving home in a nasty thunderstorm, I receive an emergency notice (attached) to go to the nearest shelter, so I immediately turned into the Antioch Walmart to seek shelter from a possible disaster. But, Walmart was refusing to help shelter those in need. There were only a few people asking for shelter, but going against the good of humanity, Walmart told us no one was allowed to enter their building until the danger had passed. ..unless "you were an employee or live in a mobile home." Are you kidding me? I spend thousands of dollars at Walmart every year, but for some reason Walmart refused to help those in need. I, and others, sat our cars, waiting for the tornado warning to expire, hoping for the best. I was disappointed and dumbfounded at the lack of human decency shown at Walmart. I'm not a fan of Walmart and the effects it has on a community but they do have the closest FedEx center so I'll just comment on that. It was easy to go in and ship the item I needed shipped with zero issues and hardly any wait. While I was there I felt bad about only using the store without also buying something so I purchased a movie as well. I'll say this much for Walmart, at least movies are affordable there compared to anywhere else you could buy them. The only downside is that the movies they sell, the ones that come with digital copies, can mostly only be redeemed on VuDu and not movies anywhere. read more

A month later, I went back and asked them to tighten the arms because the glasses kept falling off my face. The few reasons I can recommend this certain Walmart, one for been 25 hours, I don't have to rush and get to one that closest early at night. Second, there's many different department inside! Big store, fruits, bread, drinks of any kind. Clothes , electronics etc. Last reason would be that their cashiers care about your visit and ask if everything was fine and can just have a small conversation. Had to re-order my photo order from the Round Lake Walmart to this location. First time- no issues. For my second order- apparently everyone is too busy to complete my 1 hour photo order. It's almost 80 min past my 1 hour and it sucks because I'm pressed for time. Clearly, today is not my day. I have been shamed. I know this page is about WI, but I need to rant about Illinois. I live in Wisconsin close to the boarder of Illinois and needed groceries. The closest Walmart to me is Antioch's. Not knowing that it is mandatory to wear a face mask in public in Illinois, I chose to go there. The customers and employees made sure that I wouldn't forget it. I walked through the store and grabbed a cart full of groceries. As I was heading to the check out line, I was stopped by a group of three employees who told me that I was required to wear a mask or I would have to leave their store. I asked if I could buy a mask from them. The response was that they didn't have any, that they were sold out. At this point, I asked if I could at least pay for my full cart of groceries and leave. They told me no. Luckily, someone I knew saw this happening and came over to give me a spare mask they had. It didn't end there. They then asked me to tell which door I came in through. I asked why. She got angry with me and told me that it was so they could rectify this and make sure they write up whoever let me in their store. As I was in line checking out, the cashier next to me was talking bad about me to the other customers. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life. read more

Every time I visit this store I go check the fish selection, it makes me furious to see the bettas back there in barley an inch of water in those god damn cups. The last time I was in I had to add water to their cups so they would be better off. Now I go in and check on them again and the water has yet to be changed in those cups and the water is cloudy witch means ammonia has built in them. Keep up with this and you guys will have nothing but dead fish and pissed off customer's like me. I would like to Congratulate the evening crew in the toy department. (Antioch Illinois) Searching for a specific HotWheels set and not having any luck, we asked an older gentleman stocking Items if he knew where we might find the item, (online said there were 8. ) After a couple minutes the toy manager (?) and another woman of her staff appeared. In what seemed to be seconds, I heard them say is this the one? Absolutely astounding. In my regular store it seems all to regularly employees are distancing themselves from you, but I was impressed by the willingness and spectacular attitude your employees showed us and they should be commended. If I could give this WalMart 0 stars I would. Their customer service is absolutely horrible! I spoke with a girl named Christina at about 11am and asked her to put a 5 quart Instant Pot Pressure Cooker on hold for me. She came back on the phone and said she had 2 she was holding, the only 2 left in store and that I had until 5:30pm to come pick up. I asked her to verify that they were the 5 quart (about three times) she said they were, I told her I had the ID# and she said she didn't need it. My mom went to go pick it up way before 5:30 and speaks to Christina and she tells her they do not sell that one in store. REALLY? Why did you say to me three times that it was the 5 quart. So either (1.) that customer service rep lied to me or (2.) they sold it. My mom asked for a rain check as the item is on sale right now and out of stock and they refused. Lol. I looked Walmart up and this one had a higher price rating then the others xD $ This is a newer Walmart(hey, aren't all of them), built in 2006 when I moved to nearby Hickory Corners, IL. It's good enough, has all neccesary stuff. This one is kinda better though. However, I was walking, and while I walked, I saw a couple of North Face coats here, for 25 dollars, original price is like 70 or so. LOL. I didn't need coats at that time so q.q It's a cheapstake store otherwise, but if you need something, and are in the area, why not? Unfortunately, this Walmart took over Antioch's economy totally. I called the Antioch store to see what the price was on their 20 Mule Team Borax. After waiting for the clerk to look for it, I was told they couldn't find it. I asked her to please check again near the laundry detergents. She then asked a Manger who said they don't carry it. The next day on my way home I stopped in and there it was on the shelf by the laundry detergents. I understand a clerk may not be familiar with all of the products, but I would think a manager would be or at least know how to punch it into your computer system to check. Sounds like you need to educate your managers more! read more

I have shopped at Walmart for years and use to be a regular shopper there but after how I was spoken to yesterday I will be going elsewhere. The Antioch Walmart has a history of not having enough cashiers open creating long lines or forcing the customers to go to self check out. So I went to self check out with my 3 year old son. While I was putting my groceries in the chart The Walmart employee came up to me and said that my son open the candy I apologized and she made an appropriate remark I should do a better job watching my child I replied I was only in self check because Walmart did not have enough employees on the registers. I finished bagging my chart paid for it and then went to see a manager and was told one was not available but that they would talk to the employee. read more

I shop here often. It's clean, has well stocked shelves, and good prices. If there was a Target in Antioch, I would totally go there but it's the best we have. Michelle from the auto service department is a 5 star employee. She's pleasant, courteous, and most of all, VERY helpful. She price matched an instore item (tires) already in stock to the online low price instead of charging me regular price which btw another Walmart refused to do. This particular Walmart in general is filled with nice caring employees offering help without even having to ask which is a beautiful thing ! This place probably has excellent managers because service like this starts from the top..... I highly recommend Antioch Walmart ! read more
