Took over 6 hours to change tires off of my car. I literally took them off the car for them, they didn't start into I came in pissed

in the middle of the day had all scan and go registers open and only 2 regular checkout lanes and there was at least a 1/2 an hour wait to get to register if not longer. Also no manager or front end supervisor could be found also. Very aggravated with any Walmart as everyone is like this read more

Their Auto Care department told me I could not get all 4 tires replaced, because they only had 3 in stock. I said "ok, so give me 3 of this brand and 1 of a different brand because I need all 4 new." They said that was against their policy. I was only able to get 3 new, and blew my tire the next day (see photo). Will be taking my money to an auto care center that does not enforce asinine policies. read more

I have absolutely nothing good to say about this Walmart location. I moved here from Memphis TN two years ago and have been here many many times, never once receiving help without asking at least 3 employees on the floor before actually being assisted, there is never ever anyone in any department, there are maybe 3-4 employees that I've met over two years that care about their job and how they treat people. I've had managers roll their eyes at me, I even had two employees in the fabric department start cussing at EACH OTHER and fighting and the girl tried to get me to pick sides! All while I was asking them to cut fabric for me. Now we have this corona virus messing with everyone's daily life and this place has gone from bad to absolutely awful, they have put a limit on every essential in the store and the limit is 1! I buy 3 gallons of milk every week, I have not panic bought a single item, two women in the self check out today around 10:00 am immediately called me out for having more than one gallon of milk with a terrible attitude and speaking to me like I was less than the dirt they walk on, I had all three children with me and my oldest started crying because of how these women were treating us, a manager walked up (after I had paid and the cashier manually froze up the register to stop my change and Receipt from coming out) grabbed my milk that I paid for with CHANGE because it's all I had until pay day, didn't say a word to me and turned around and walked off, nobody tried to give me my money back, just took the things I paid for and walked off, so I had to then get them to give me my money since they at this point stole my items. The other customers saw how they treated me with my kids standing there and asked to get the gallons she took to buy them for me and once again no one acknowledged or spoke to these customers either. Everyone is struggling right now. That manager should be fired and just to note- there were other people buying more than one gallon and not a word was said to any of them. You can't put a limit of 1 on everything essential when you know large families are shopping for their loved ones and children, when your customers have better people skills than the aggressive cashiers there is a problem. This is no way to treat anyone. read more

The store is never clean, bathrooms are disgusting, but my main problem are the security guards at the door check receipts. I always tell the cashier to throw mine away but when I get to the door to leave the guard tries to stop me telling me I have to go back and get my receipt or he won't allow me to leave because it's the law for him to be allowed to keep me here. That's not true at all and if you think I am going to walk back to the other part of the store just to get a damn paper to leave then your wrong. So I go to walk through the other door and he tries blocking that entrance. Meanwhile 2 other people left without getting there receipt checked. But he is more worried about my bag that had a single beer in there. Once I finally got through the door and in to my car I decided to call and speak to the manager. I tell the manager everything and he said that they could have called the cops on me for stealing even though I paid for that beer and told him the register I was at. read more

For my second trip to Walmart I was looking for some electronic accessories. I needed a pair of chap headphones and some DVR disks. At first the only headsets I saw were for hands-free cell phone usage which is totally not what I wanted. After finding a store employee, I requested information on where to find the aforementioned headphones. He told me where they were only by telling me by what other items they'd be near and just pointed in some vague direction. I futilely attempted to follow to where he was pointing but could not. I then found another employee and asked her to show me exactly where to locate my desired item, which she gladly did. I notice that most of the head phones were rather expensive considering they were not name brands and of course I'm at t a Walmart. But I did find one for $2.47 which definitely met with my approval. On to the search for the disks. I had passed them on my way to look for headphones and found the section again. I picked up a 10 pack for less than $9. This was all done Sunday afternoon so the place was still very busy. However the lines went quickly and my purchases were bagged and I left happy. read more

Twice I've had to use the pickup tower, which I "assumed" was to make things more efficient. First time I waited for over 30 minutes for my item to be brought out. Second time I waited 15-20 only to be told my order wasn't ready (it was a watch...). If it weren't for the prices I would never step foot in this place. Service is severely lacking but guess that's just par for the course in the US now. read more

I was trying to get some fabric cut. I first went back to electronics department which I had done on previous visits, the clerk was just standing there, not doing anything. When I asked if he could call for help in the fabric department he said he couldn't do it. I then went to the front of the store and asked a helper at checkouts, I still didn't hear an announcement. I went to the woman's fitting room and finally heard the announcement. I waited almost 10 minutes and again went the rounds looking for help. I must have stopped about 5-6 employees, still nothing. I went back to electronics, now there were 3 employees there and said they couldn't help. Went to woman's fitting room, there were 5 employees there and said no one could help. A team leader was there and he got on his radio. I went back to fabrics, I still had to wait another 7-8 minutes. In all, I had to wait close to 40 minutes just to get an associate there to cut fabric. Then the associate was taking calls, so of course she had to stop what she was doing to take the calls. It probably took another 10 minutes just to get 2 pieces of fabric cut. If it wasn't for the fact that I needed the fabric for a wedding, I would have walked out. The sad fact is that there were plenty of employees present just no one trained to cut fabric which shouldn't be that difficult. read more

I see a lot of negative comments but I like this store almost 100%. It's not dirty. In fact it is one of the cleanest WalMarts around. The one on 434 in Altamonte (not a superstore) is dirty!! I would never go in it again. The employees have always been very helpful when I needed assistance. The only reason for 4 stars versus 5 is the deli counter. Pitifully understaffed and the one lady who always seems to be working there is not overly friendly. However, she does a good job and is as efficient as possible considering she is all by herself at the meat & cheese counter. read more

Sorry this is not a Walmart that I would come back to. I'm normally pretty nice even with my bad experiences when reviewing. But this Walmart deserves zero stars. I couldn't find one positive thing to review them on. I didn't get a hello, a smile or even help from any of the workers here. The fresh section was lacking decent fresh fruit and vegetables. I found soon to be expired food in the frozen and fresh meats section. When checking out there were issues when trying to use my Walmart Pay. The transaction for some reason wasn't letting the cashier submit it. She just looked at me and said it won't work. So I said ok get a manager and she started at each other for about 10 minutes. Then I said uh did you call someone? She says, they all busy. I couldn't believe me ears and eyes. So I went and grabbed someone to come help her. The manager I guess in the yellow jacket comes to her register and yells at another associate coming to her for help, "I'm Only One Person". Thank God she wasn't talking to me because someone needed to check her on that. As a manager, I expected a better representation for herself and the store. Not to forget she came over pushed a couple buttons and walked away, she didn't even resolve the issue. I ended up paying in cash just to get out of there. They are out-of-stock on SO much. So many holes. Organic pre-packaged meat was all brown. A million garbage flies seemed to disperse from the asparagus in the produce section. They already looked like withered like trees in a Tim Burton movie. The fresh ginger was dried out, powdery and horrifying. So GROSS! Two different cashiers on two different occasions have short-changed me on coupons attached to boxes. Last cashier was friendly but the deli hot food bar--not so much. Upon entering this Walmart I noticed it was very clean. I was looking for something the lady noticed smiled and said may I help you. Can't say I have had that happen in a Wal Mart before. Then she walked me to where the items are. Maybe they are trying to work on their customer service. The store was clean and had most of my items. They were out of a few things which for a Super Walmart is not so super! I gather they may be trying to catch up from the weekend since I visited on a Monday afternoon. Lots of places to return the carts after you load your car...which is wonderful when people do it. I did not wait in line too long...Approximately 4 registers were open (for more than 10 items) and I was the third in line. Yes, maybe I would suggest opening a few more registers too! Why go to Walmart? For one stop shopping with overall good prices. I can't say they have the best prices anymore though, Aldi and Dollar Tree and General and even Amazon, give them a lot of run for the money! read more

I'll start off by saying this place is persistently disgusting. I go there as little as possible, but sometimes my hand is forced because of the hours I work. Low prices are not the only thing that you need to draw me in. Running an operation where no one you employ knows what's going on and are not willing to interrupt their casual conversation w/ another associate to assist a customer is not my idea of a place I want to shop. I try to avoid Walmart at all costs. Occasionally it is just too convenient and I get lured in. I feel dirty just walking in to most Walmart stores but they sure are a great place for people watching! Everyone knows Walmart- huge stores, cheap prices, and questionable quality. With this particular Walmart I usually don't run in to long lines and have actually run across some (shocking!) friendly employees. It's Walmart, so you know what you are getting into. There are just these times where you cannot avoid it, and this one is around the Apopka area. On the plus side here, they do have self checkout, which helps to speed up the ridiculous line you typically have to wait in. The store is massive, and has a good selection of grocery items if you are in need of some basics. They recently upgraded their carts, and I have to say, it is mildly less frustrating having to wander through the big box store when you don't have a cart trying to run away from you. For convenience sake, you just have to grin and bear it sometimes. read more

Called store Three this morning just to speak with someone in Garden to only be put on hold more then 15 minutes each time with never getting to speak to someone. I was calling to purchase a large amount of gravel for landscaping but the just lost my business. Customer service is where your business starts not always good prices. So now I will spend the extra money at home depot because the pick up and got me to the correct department in less then 2 minutes. read more

I found a nail in my tire today and went to the Walmart auto center to get it fixed. They told me that they couldn't fix it and that I needed to buy a completely new tire. I told them that I was going to go elsewhere to get it looked at, and they tried to convince me to buy the tire there because it will be much cheaper. I declined their service and went to Gator Action Tire in Wekiva. Not only did Gator Action Tire have no issues fixing my tire (and no, I did not need a new tire), but they did it for free. And they even filled my windshield wiper fluid as well. So if anyone is needing tire service or an oil change, I strongly recommend Gator Action Tire instead! read more

Save your time and do not go to this Walmart. Unfortunately for me, this is the closest one and sometimes I have to go here. The store is dirty, the staff are terrible and the lines are always long because they have 2-3 registeres open. This makes NO sense. The store will be slammed with customers and I see Walmart employees walking the isles doing nothing and only 2 cashiers. There is no way they keep their shifts this low staffed in such a high volume area. I dread shopping here but some times need to due to prices and selection. Went to Walmart Superstore In Apopka to pick up a few groceries. This store advertises that it closes early to sanitize everything, limits the number of people in the store and asks that patrons stay at least 6 feet apart when shopping. They also request that customers wear masks for everyone's safety. Let's start with limiting the number of employees in the store 300+ is not limiting. At least 50% or more of the patrons were not wearing masks. No one was staying 6 feet apart. The aisles are so close together that social distancing is impossible. Social distancing is possible at the registers but no one does it. I had to ask to have the keypad and screen wiped down before I used it at the Scan & Go when there is someone directing you to an open register who should be doing this. I will never go back to this store again. They should be ashamed. They only care about their bottom line and not the safety of those who shop at Walmart. read more

Store wasn't that great under Vern but it is 10000 times better than now. The employees are rude, the bakery nor deli will answer the phone and if you get transferred to customer service you might as well hang up and call Publix. I just spent 45 minutes letting the phone ring and ring. I actually left my office still letting it ring. Every aspect of the APOPKA store is negative. There is absolutely nothing good about the store or it's atmosphere. It is so unsafe I refuse to let my wife go there by her self. Pace of the leader determines the speed of the team. read more

They had my car just sitting in the bay & not working on it. & then I paid an extra amount for a quality service, they never did what I paid for!!
