This Walmart is pretty good, but if you shop at night, be prepared for an obstacle course. They shut down one of the entrances without a street view warning, and they restock without much concern for customers. Plus, the shelves look like a warzone. I purchased tires last December along with a lifetime rotation and balance. When I went to get the tires rotated I was told there was not enough tread on the tires. They told me the tread was in the red. Earlier in the week I had a slow leak in one tire and visited a Discount Tire store to have it taken care of. They measured the tread, one tire in the yellow and the other three in the green. This is what reminded me to get the rotation done. Bottom line: Walmart would not honor what I paid $80+ for and in turn tried to con me into selling me tires I don't need yet. I also sent this info to them via their "Contact us" and have not heard a word. I do not recommend getting any auto service with Walmart as they are not to be trusted. read more

I like the new layout of the Walmart. It is being arranged like many of the other Wal-Mart's in the area. It really helps when trying to locate things. You don't have to remember the floor plan for each location. I also like the addition to the self check lanes. Helps when "trying" to get in and out. read more

this is NOT just WALMART but also KROGER i shop at both stores at different locations around Arlington TX and Grand Prairie TX and i have seen employees that are not trained or dont care and when they find refrigerated/frozen item(s) some stupid customer put on a shelf somewhere in the store when the customer changed their mind and decided not to purchase the item(s)...now the item(s) not in the refrigerator/freezer have thawed and are growing bacteria when a employee finds the item(s) and puts the item(s) back in the refrigerator/freezer- the item(s) have been there on the shelf thawed for hours/days when its put back in the refrigerator/freezer again the item(s) are still growing bacteria from being refrigerated/frozen then thawed and then refrigerated/frozen again and then we buy it and eat it and get food poisoning... this is the same for the item(s) a shopper changes their mind about buying at the register after walking around the store while the refrigerated/frozen item(s) in their cart have thawed and the customer tells the cashier they changed their mind about purchasing the item(s)...problem is that the store policy is to put the item(s) back in the refrigerator/freezer...these items should all be put in the trash...i even seen the employees stocking the refrigerated/frozen shelves bring out all the items they need to stock for their entire 8 hour shift and leave them thawing in the aisles for 8 hours while they work their shift-instead of bringing out what they can stock a little at a time before the food thaws and then grows bacteria from being out of the refrigerator/freezer for the 8 hour shift...i have had mild food poisoning too many times and most people that get food poisoning just think they maybe have diarrhea or mild flu...i have found several thawed items in the freezers of these stores and one of them instead of rotating out the old bread they were just pushing back the old bread on the shelves i found many loafs of bread with mold all over the bread loafs and this was the bread the store employees stock and not the bread vendors stock from their own companies products and many times found things like sliced package ham that was so old it was brown and molded...these stores DO NOT teach the employees about proper food handling and how to avoid spoilage...theres a system that has been taught for decades to people that deal with food and this is not just the refrigerated/frozen items all food has an expiration date...thats why employees years ago use to be taught the FIFO SYSTEM (first in first out) i know they dont teach this anymore because for a short time i worked at a few different grocery store companies...somewhere in time the executives decided its cheaper to let customers get sick and because food poisoning is rarely life threatening and you cant prove you got it from their food items...so they dont care... read more

Twice in the last month I have bought or received as a gift houseware items that cost over fifty dollars that were broken from this store. What a hassle to have to go up there and exchange things. The one we bought as a gift for someone (that was embarrassing) was a set of pots and pans. One of the pans was dented so badly that the side of it was flat instead of round. The second item was an air fryer that was given to us as a gift. The air fryer sounds like the fan is catching on metal when you turn it on. Scary. That is when we found out Walmart's policy about exchanges and refunds over fifty dollars- you can't do it without a receipt. The exchange person said she would have to get manager approval and made us wait ten minutes for the rude manager AMY to come out and say that they wouldn't do it. Why even bother saying the manager could do anything when she wasn't going to? I wouldn't buy anything from this Walmart and they have definitely lost our business. Super lazy workers in the printer section . I asked a worker to open the printer case for me and she tells me to go ask someone else Bc she doesn't have the key ... ok... I asked another worker for help and she also doesn't have the key . She walked off to ask someone else and never came back. If you could pour concentrated hell from Satan's ***hole, it'd be this place. I've been to many a shady Wal-Mart, this one's a real gem. EVERYTHING I had on the list, they were missing. The line, at 9:30 at night mind you, is a rock concert across the front of the store. Easy access off Cooper from north bound, but man that parking lot! Within seconds I was getting panhandled. When it comes to the store itself, it is half-and-half, kind of hit and miss on service as some workers are more conscientious than others, as with any service industry job. When it comes to the auto department, tires and oil changes, I will certainly recommend this place as we have almost always had excellent service here (one exception in the past six years) for tires replacements and especially the oil changes. Polite and helpful employees, reasonable wait times and typical affordable prices. New order online at home and pickup curbside service is where I will rant and rave... the convenience of ordering what I want, when I want, and then having it delivered to my car and loaded into my trunk is great! The time savings alone is worth using this service. I may add items to the order all week long and then choose a pickup date and time that suits me best. The website tracks items that are "favorites" which I have ordered before and stores them in a list. This makes it incredibly easy to re-order for weekly items and even the "once every month or two" items. The eggs have never had a broken one in the order, fresh fruits and vegetables are always chosen carefully, not bruised, wilted, or damaged at all. (A better record than my own!) You can choose to allow substitutions for some items or all items on your list. They make certain to substitute with similar items of equal or greater value They made a mistake and subbed pork items I did not want a few times in a row when I ordered beef, the beef was important to the recipe so it was an issue. I called to mention it and the manager told me to call back and speak to her the day before our next pickup. I did, and when I returned the next day, I got two of the original item I wanted for free added in to our current order. Very unexpected and very nice! The people who bring the groceries out to the car to load them have been polite and wonderful about making certain not to crush eggs, bread, fresh fruits, etc. My favorite is Arthur because he is polite, friendly, so meticulously careful with delicate items like eggs, bread and fruit, knows us, and exactly how we like things placed in the car. I certainly recommend this wonderful service (and Arthur, too, whom I believe deserves a raise no matter what his current salary) for those who are too busy, physically disabled, or otherwise unable to take the time and effort to get into the store to shop for themselves. read more

My husband went a made a purchase through the self-checkout and he did two transactions. He was then harassed and called lair before he produced the two receipts. He then preceded to leave the building after his purchased and walked through two exit doors before he was then harassed again for proof of purchase. He then removed everything from his bags and provided two receipts for everything. We just moved here from Waco and this was our first experience of the Walmart here. We have lived in many cities and have never had this kind of treatment anywhere. read more

I will preface by saying I have never been a huge fan of Walmart, and my recent experience there has been the absolute worst. I go into buy an XBOX One, cash in hand, just to get shuffled along by their sea of uninformed employees. All I wanted to do is go in and grab the items the Walmart Online store said was available for pick-up at the location. That is the exact opposite of what actually happened. I was told by multiple staff members and even multiple managers excuse after excuse of why I could not take advantage of the sale that was being offered. Ultimately, I decided to get a game I didn't want as a substitute for one I wanted that was unavailable at the store. The second manager I talked to informed me that it would be at the register and ready and I could check out whenever. Upon arriving at the desk, the check out clerk had no idea the manager had told us it would be ready, and she refused to offer the sale price. She called the associate manager I had just spoken with, who flat out lied and said he never said the items could be purchased at sale price. Long story short, I was standing at the register and ready to pay for items physically in front of me and was told I could not buy them because they needed to order them from their warehouse... even though I could physically see them. With the exception of one employee that was very nice and seemed to know more than the managers, the staff was exceptionally rude. There were managers that were unwilling to help a custom purchase an item that was available immediately and that is unacceptable, in my opinion. You are better off going to Target. I went in with no knowledge of sales they had on the XBOX and walked out with a great deal in under 30 minutes. read more

My boyfriend and I frequently go to this Walmart late at night after we get off work. Last night I guess they had the store closed for maintenance when we went around 12:10-12:25ish, and as we walked up to the store there were employees in the parking lot that yelled, "we're closed bitch" "go home, we want to go home", we ignored them at first and kept walking up to the store until we saw the sign saying that it was closed. When we walked back to the car the employees yelled " yeah that's right, shoo, get out of here". Sure as hell not going back to that shithole store now. Already been on the fence about going to this store for a while because there is this HORRID old hag that works the self checkout late at night. Pretty much none of their self checkout machines take cash so she just stands there and yells "CARD ONLY!!" at people. Absolutely ridiculous. If you don't want to work in customer service get a different job. I've been working in customer service for years and could never imagine treating a customer like that. How the hell do you expect to keep a job if you treat people like shit and make them not want to come back to your place of business? To anyone thinking of having a gift registry at Walmart, wedding or baby, Don't ‼. My daughter lives in a very small town & registered on Walmart.com. She received 2 of her bedding sets. We had the order number so we took back one set..... we'll, Walmart will not take it back. She didn't want money just other things from her registry she didn't receive. She could return it but the credit would go to the person that purchased it. She didn't want that person to know she had received two. This is not an inexpensive gift, over $125. The day that I went to Walmart to return it ( she was in bed as she had a c- section) with the bedding & order number, the first person I spoke with was so rude to me. She would not even let me tell her that I had the number! I was not upset or angry until she was so rude. I never raised my voice but just asked to speak with a manager, he was very nice but said he couldn't thank it back because & give a credit , it had come from a second party that sells through Walmart! So please use Amazon or Target, if you don't want duplicates you can't exchange‼‼ read more

I was crying and in severe pain, but the caring staff at this pharmacy filled my scrips in 10 minutes, and even came from behind the counter to see that I was OK. One star is too good for this place. This Wal Mart is disgusting. I went there last night to buy an Easy Bake Oven for my niece for Christmas. The shelf was empty. I bent down to look to see of there were any pushed to the back and I saw an unwrapped condom laying on the shelf where the Easy Bake Ovens should have been. This was in the toy dept. There were about 10,000 kids running around. This is a whole new level of disgusting. I feel like I am getting a disease just walking in the door. Submitted an online purchase to 'Pickup from Store'; chose this location since they could have it ready for pickup same day (online stated order would be ready at 12:53pm) . Arrived at the store after 6pm only to be told the ONE lady that pulls these orders left at 5pm so, I would have to wait and come back next day!!! Spoke with the assistant store manager to see if he could get someone to get my order especially since it was my 9 year old sons birthday present however this asst manager was of absolutely no help AT ALL!! It seems that this ONE lady is the ONLY person that can pull an order. This is was the first time I visited Walmart this year, and this is exactly the reason why I avoid Walmart at all cost. I see why their workers get paid minimum wage; they do minimal work, and are rude while doing that. Lesson learned. Never again. read more

The only time i get to do shopping is between 12am and 2:00pm, by this time the worst customer Service you can get, Specially by the old people who works there, they have zero customer service skills, i tried to explain to one of the old lady on the customer service about an item which is on low price, she treated me in unprofessional way , she snatched the item from my hand , and said " if you are not going to buy it , i will buy it and eat it!, she left me in the middle of conversation, and went to other self check out and bought it?!
