It has the best prices for the food and snacks my dog likes, has good prices on the medical supplies I buy monthly, and I recently discovered they now carry Guinness in bottles and cans. They also have plenty of self checkout stands and I hardly ever have to wait to check out. But one part about the checkout brings me to the negatives. The single biggest negative is that Walmart does not accept Apple Pay so I have to dig out a physical credit card to pay. And I refuse to use their funky Walmart pay system with QR codes. So I shop here once a month for dog stuff, medical supplies, and Guinness, and make most of my grocery purchases at Baker's, Target or Hy-Vee since they all take Apple Pay.

There are signs throughout, so it is relatively easy to find the area you are hoping to shop in. Each time I've come to search for something, I have not had any luck. The main reasons I have not bought anything here are either of it. Nothing fits my frame/style (This store is much more geared towards women than juniors, and business/cocktail attire than anything casual), and that the price point is high above competitors I shop at. Overall, I do not think I am their target market, but I am shocked that people come in and spend what they do for items you can get cheaper elsewhere. Probably just a matter of opinion, but I do not frequent this store often for that reason. I do know a lot of friends who get great deals with within the shoe clearance area -- this seems to be what they're known for! I looked around, and did see some decent deals, but nothing that I needed. Overall, I would come back here to shop at the shoe clearance, but probably nothing else.

I have moved to a…read morestate that Von Maur isn't even located in, but with the amazing staff in ALL departments I still call in and order online. But this shout out is specifically for Zoe in Clinique because I still get my essentials and she knows all my favorites and color likes. I get calls for all promotions and bonus times which I love and regardless of how busy she is in store I hear the smile and patience while I give her my order and ask questions. Even when you call in there's an operator who politely transfers your calls, which is so personal. I miss the piano, but customer service from thousands of miles away is top notch. Thank you for being so wonderful at your job and I'm sure crushing life. Call Zoe for any of your CLINQUE needs!!!

However, I was in the area for a meeting and was pleased to see how this place has filled in. This remind me of a very small scale Plaza in KC. It's truly an outdoor mall, featuring a lot of national brands on the main strip. There are big box stores outlining the mall, like Dicks, TJMaxx, Jc Penny etc. I like the offering. There is also some gyms, activities, esthetics, and more. My only complaint is the parking is less than desirable with a lot of one way parking strips.

Absolutely amazing Mall in the Omaha area about 10 miles south of downtown, which is an outdoor mall that has a little shopping-street type area and then has some massive strip mall type huge big box stores as well. It's very well done, and even though traffic is bad here and parking can be tricky, it's still easily the best mall in Nebraska, and is one of the major destinations for the whole area. I've been told that I'm stealthy and nearly invisible at night. This center is named after me then: "Shadow-Like." Oh that's not what it's called? Oops. I guess I put the DOH in Shadow.

It has a much better selection with more elevated brands here than I've see there. It's a weird mix of being clean and organized, and then in other areas a complete cluttered mess. The interior is simple and nice, and stores are spaced out well. There are maps around, and escalators, elevators, and stairs they rarely get too crowded. There's a wide variety of shops, as well as restaurants within and surrounding the mall. If I had one complaint about West roads, I feel the flagships common area is very crowded. This is a little tricky to navigate in and out, depending on the time of day you come. But I do appreciate that they have so many options within this small space! If I was going to any mall in Omaha, it would almost always be Westroads. They do a much better job at selecting and retaining businesses!

I haven't seen the checkout line before, although there is usually a fitting room line in my experience. I went in on a weekend today, so that is likely the reason for so much more traffic than usual! I would come back to the store again, but would either try to budget plenty of time, or come on a weekday when things may not be as busy.

Otherwise, I perused around the front of the store, and saw a lot of cute rompers and dresses for more casual events. It's pretty fairly priced, not super cheap, but not overly expensive. It does skew toward the fast fashion trend wise.
