Definitely one of the worst Walmarts I've been to. Less than stellar people etc walking around inside and out. Service crummy.

Walmart+ Delivery could definitely improve! I ordered 2 boxes of instant oatmeal and the were delivered FROM THE CHARGE BACK ROOM SHELF 1st-busted open & 2nd-taped back up for my family to eat. I called 1-800-WALMART & was told I'd be refunded $5...$5!!! I paid more than that for both boxes!!!!!Needless to say I'm canceling my membership & I WILL NOT shop at Walmart anymore! read more

Update 03/2025 dropped to 3 stars. I've stopped going to this store unless I absolutely need something that other stores in the area don't carry. Reason being, it's SO BUSY! Too many people. Although the Walmart employees do a really good job with customer service, not their fault it's so busy. I'd rather get groceries at Aldi or make the drive to Surprise and go to Trader Joe's or Winco where the store isn't a zoo when I'm shopping. read more

I would personally give the tire center 0 stars !! I have a 1 year warranty on a set new set of tires and one of the tires seemed to be defective. The air pressure kept going down. The young employee told my fiancé that all he would have to pay is installation. Upon receiving the tire, he was charged installation and for the new tire. Spoke to manager and admitted that the young employee was incorrect, yet we still had to pay. Besides this bs, we walk out to our car only to realize that they installed the incorrect tire. So again we have to wait for a new installation ! Never getting tires from here again and wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Terrible service ! read more

This is probably one of the worst Walmarts I've ever been to because of the lines. It's usually pretty organized and clean in the store. They keep shelves stocked well. Returns has usually been reasonable for time unless it's around a holiday. However this was first Walmart I've ever been to with more self checkouts than registers. The expectation is you will use self check out. In the 3 years I've gone to this location I've never seen a register open. The lines are outrageously long! I'm talking it's common to have more than 20 people in front of you in line. After scanning all your own items and bagging them you then get to walk barely 5 feet away to leave and have an employee want to check your receipt like you're a thief ‍ no employees around to help in store scan and bag your items you're paying for have an employee go through all your things and check your receipt right next to self check I do my best to never come here if I can help it because if I'm giving a business my money and buying their products it would be nice not to do the work for the company too. There should be real people at registers - that in turn gives jobs to people in the community so they can support their families. 1 person to 20 self check out registers is not okay. read more

I bought a battery for my car at the Goodyear, AZ location and they said they could install it as advertised on Walmart's website but there would be a wait and their OBDII memory saver was broken and may cause error messages but that i could take it to another store for installation. I called the Buckeye, AZ location and after explaining the situation they said they could jumpstarted my car again just to get it there, gave them all the info again and dropped it off. I few hours later they called to say my car was ready for pickup then as i was almost there they called again and said they did not do the work. When i got there they said they refuse to take the liability of installing it even though my car is not anything out of the ordinary. It is not a luxury brand or model and it doesn't have any issues aside from a simple battery. They said that i would need to take it to a "real mechanic" for installation. The delivery of the bad news was on top of everything very rude. Now that they wasted my whole day making me jump through hoops to still not have my battery installed, i have to miss work and pay tomorrow and find a place and pay more money because they refused to perform the service as advertised with my $220 battery purchase. read more

My boyfriend went here to grab me some medicine today and the woman who was manning the self check out this morning was completely unprofessional and rude to him. The customer service here SUCKS and they DON'T CARE!!!! I ordered on line to get my products delivered to my house when I looked up where my products are it said delivered. I went to my front door and nothing they sent me an email with the picture of where they delivered it to and it was not my door!!! I called the store explained what happened but my options were if they can find someone else to deliver they will or I can go pick it up myself. First of all if I wanted to go there and get it I would have done that in the first place the girl I talked to said she called the driver and didn't have my package but instead of instructing her to go back and get my package from the wrong house I am supposed to go out of my way and go pick it up!!! No I should have had it delivered to my house again and that NEVER HAPPENED!!! The girl on the phone was supposed to call me back and she never did. The thing about big companies is they don't care about the customers this experience was very disappointing and I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS WALMART!!! Review is for the grocery pick up crew. These kids are one of a kind For what ever reason one comes out with groceries with one or two wondering behind him on there cell phones the will walk past cars then walk back inside without acknowledging anyone. Mean while the one actually working is slowly getting the job done. You can get your message order is ready check into parking spot and be the 1st car waiting and they just ignore you meanwhile other vehicles pull up and for what ever reason they will bring out their orders Then the same wonderer comes back out on phone again not the Walmart scanners a personal cell phone acting like he is doing something. This has been going on for months now I know Walmart does not have the brightest bunch but come on save some money and get rid of the none workers. read more

Shopped at this location for over 9 years when needing more than just groceries. They have everything you can possibly need in their main area. Clothing, pharmacy, camping, bikes, office and school supplies. Over in their grocery and deli side they have all the essentials. I think there's only been a couple of times I was searching for a specific specialty product and they did not carry it. But then again, I mostly shop here for quick errands so I don't have to go into the city for. Groceries I usually go somewhere else. But I'm always glad that this location has just about everything when you're in a hurry. I really like their bike section. Pick the one you like and take it home. Other places, you'd have place and order and wait to pick it up, not a good idea when your toddlers and 5 year olds are ready for their new bike at that moment and you're hit with that policy. So I appreciate Walmart for that. I also really like their cake decorating section. This is my go to place for when I'm feeling like a true baker and need every single tool from their shelves. Six months later they are in the trash for taking up space and I start the cycle all over. LoL Other than that, I will continue to shop here when ever I'm in need of something in a hurry, but usually end with almost a full cart. LoL read more

My experiences with Walmart pickup were good but recently in the past month it's been really bad. Delayed orders, no attempts at service recovery just "there's nothing we can do," "why don't you come back to pick it up tomorrow," "what do you mean?" When asked can I speak to a supervisor about this. I wish I could put a face palm emoji. It is rare I give a one star review to any business unless it is a total failure in my opinion and here is my one star review. I found myself looking hard to find anything. I also noticed that mentioned in other reviews of this place. The shelves were disorganized and I had to look in the area to find what I was looking for. It was if no one came through after Christmas and straightened the place up. The last straw was not having a single register open and the entire checkout is all self serve. Other than this place being packed 24/7, no issue. Plenty of parking. Carts are always in the front, i've never had to walk back to the parking lot to find a cart. This place basically has everything you need, one stop shop, from food, clothing, baby supplies, medicine, personal hygiene, camping/outdoor necessities, toys for tots, jewelry/accessories etc! So many different things. If you are making a return, customer service is in the front or the store right across from online pick up! Just a note: if you are returning something from the jewelry department priced at more than $40 you will have to do the return at jewelry department, so don't waste your time going to customer service. read more

***UPDATE*** During this time I guess the person in the office that gathered my information actually was the ONLY person that tried to find out what was happening and to explain that they got backed up and she was told they were calling in additional drivers to help catch them up and I would get a call back with an updated time. So NOW, I want to give a SHOUT OUT to 'LINDA' for doing a GREAT job trying to assist me. I HOPE the MANAGER at the Store will recognizer her for trying to help a customer out. Also while picking up my order in person the supervisor (sorry, I think her name was Laura but will try to verify as well as she was very helpful plus the lead she spoke with about my order. I had my meds called in 2 days ago so I called the pharmacy to see why they hadn't arrived and to get a tracking number.....THESE MORONS NEVER SHIPPED THEM! I called TWICE the day I went to the Dr to verify all of my information with this Walmart pharmacy and today they claimed they didn't have my correct address....so, I asked them what address they had on file...they told me the address they have on file which is correct....soooo, why didn't you ship the meds, again? Oh, so this is the correct address?? Yes you idiots!!!!!! I currently have phnemonia and bed ridden, this mess up could cost me thousands in unnecessary medical bills. Worse Walmart we've ever been to. We always stop here when we go to Phoenix. The shelves are never stocked and the place is filthy. You never have any diet pepsi or Aquafina water bottles. We were gonna buy your water bottle brand and everyone of them were leaking. We spend a lot of money at Walmart but to be honest this store is the worse. What are the employees doing because they don't have to work register because you have all self check out. Walmart Automotive service department is TERRIBLE! Starts from the time you enter, get the feeling like you're disturbing them and you as a customer doesn't matter. For both my vehicles I had replaced all 4 tires, was told to order on line, easy to set appointment, said if I get the lifetime rotation, balance and road hazard, will set tmps sensors for each,includes lifetime balance & rotation every 5k miles, covers all road hazards, flat repairs and replacement, sounded, right? BUT... just try and use service, they NEVER seem to have time, too busy, not taking any more walk-ins (yes, can set appointment to get tires but need anything else you can't set appointment, it's walk in only! Back story, the auto service department is advertised to be open Monday - Sunday 7a - 7p... First time (after both car with full sets of tires) went to get oil change at 3:11p on a Saturday was told too busy, can't do, try again, tried Sunday at 2:35p too busy can't do. Finally on 3rd and last attempt they said it would be close to closing but will do their best (still had almost 3 hours before closing). Next was when I tried to use balance & rotation that was part of the PKG, once again was turned away at 3p cuz they didn't have time had to try again the next day after work arrived at 4:40 pm. Was told can't do as they are too busy, this time I asked what jobs they had and after hearing I asked to speak to a Manager, no manager ever showed but they reluctantly checked me in but said will try to get done by closing but didn't look good. I went for a walk to clear my head after all that then received a call at 5:45p and car was done. Arrived back at 6pm and not a car in any service bay and all just hanging around talking. Was handed my keys and was told oh by the way we broke a cover on the lug nut but never said they were replacing it or anything. After leaving I noticed they forgot to put on one of the center hubs, went back and was told they have a whole box of them, described what kind and came back with mine. Also when I had asked to speak to a Manager that I mentioned, a customer walked in needing 4 tires and he was turned away saying he needed to make an appointment, he tried telling them that he was going out of town and needed them badly, but still turned down a sale and a customer when clearly they could have helped him. My last experience was yesterday, went to leave to meet wife at church and tire was flat, noticed a nail in tread, I pumped up as best I could then went to use my road hazard I paid for. Arrived at service department at 3:45p and was told they can't do as they have 4 tires to install and once done all but 2 techs are leaving at 4pm. I asked if those two techs don't know how to fix a flat and was told yes but have to be two techs in service area and one tech is new and not certified. Will have 2 techs but was told can't do as no one will be allowed in shop area. I had no choice so when I asked for a Manager the tech that was staying heard me while walking out to the service area turned, looked at me, kicked the door stop holding the door open and slammed it shut behind him. Several employees at desk area NEVER apologized for what happened and once again seemed like I was an outcast. When I asked for a Manager they said one was coming, the manager that arrived was a Coach Collette and really didn't try to figure out what was happening, investigate for her self as she just repeated they all are leaving at 4pm and she can't ask anyone to stay cuz they probably wouldn't anyway. I noticed she probably wasn't train fully so I asked which manager was on duty and was told the store manager Chad was, I asked to speak with him and was told I couldn't, he was in a meeting. I asked to please notify him that there is an upset customer with an issue, was told they wouldn't disturb him and I told them I would wait, which I did for almost 45 minutes, in that time I called Walmart Corporate Customer relations and filed a complaint, was told I would be getting a call back from the manager but as of this posting, still NO call. So all can notice with the length of this review I wanted to share to others so hopefully others won't have to deal as I had to. Good luck... read more

Probably not a big deal, but customer service needs improvement. Today, I bought my daughter the Trolls movie which said it was $17.96 OK! Bought it, check my receipt and it says $19.96. I was going to let it go but I said well Walmart will never give me $2 bucks just because so I took a pic of the display and the lady at customer service didn't believe me so we walked up to the movie stand and the first thing she says "well you have to read!" And I said excuse me, all I see is Trolls $17.96 right? She continues to give me attitude and won't honor the price... I'm sorry but like she said $2 dollars isn't a big deal BUT it's their attitude! This review is specifically for the AUTO Dept. On 5/27 my mother and I arrived at the auto facility for an oil change. we first parked our vehicle in a spot, went inside and waited in a line where various employees came from inside the " pit" area with there protective goggles and oil stained arms and ignored the whoooooole line. Each o in whole is for every employee left ignored and unserviced. We finally went back outside, got in our vehicle drove to a service line and met a nice young gentleman with glasses and was very kind, he immediately got us set up on a pennzoil oil change for 40 bucks and it was great. He told us about 15-30 min and that they would give us a call.after 45 min my mother and I went back to the auto area where we paid and were given a receipt that said we DECLINED transmission fluid & DECLINED Power steering fluid...before we assume two women dont know the vehicle they drive he tried to tell me that it was because I didnt have a dipstick and that it was sealed... BS!! I HAVE A DIPSTICK... we hop my hood and he seeeeees its a dip stick... so he trys to get it of and says.. oh he probably couldn't get it off so he didnt check it !!! whaaaaaaat!? why is that acceptable ? Didn't I pay for these services and while i understand this wasn't the gentleman who worked on my vehicle, when he went to rectify the situation with the mechanic he was blown off and yelled yet so rudely and unprofessionally it was embarrassing for him and those around... his " four tire job " then overrode the incomplete work that he so graciously took my money for but didnt provide all the service, this standard of service is embarrassing. In this day and age women should be able to go to automotive establishments and not be screwed over bu mechanic like Matthew 3124. It was really hard to believe leaving that Matthew did anything to my vehicle, so much Im sure ill be going elsewhere to make sure my vehicle isn't going to blow up from lack of fluids because matthew didnt think I deserved to be safe on the road with my mother... he just felt like taking out money... the fact that this is near a seniors community I would advise going elsewhere... complete ripoff !! read more

The absolute worst customer service experience. I just wanted to get my oil changed. I went there Thursday and there was a 2 hour and 45 minute wait. So I decided to go back on friday. Someone at the store told me they opened at 8:00 on Friday. I went to the baseline store on Friday and they were short staffed. Plus they said their manager just quit and they were shutting down. So I drove over to lower buckeye and again, 3-hour wait. Before leaving I asked another employee what time they opened on saturday. They told me Saturdays they open at 8:00 also. So I show up at 7:30 only to find out they opened at 7:00 and already had a long wait. So finally I go back Sunday. I figured if they opened up at 7:00 on Sunday I would be there early so I got there at 6:30. They didn't open the store until 9:00. No one came outside to address the line or tell them there was a problem or delay. They told us again they were short staffed and they were opening late. During this adventure I made several calls to both Walmart stores. Evidently the store doesn't answer phones and neither does the auto center. Two times I let the phone ring over half hour. Neither of these stores seem to know the meaning of customer service. If you have a telephone there's absolutely nothing wrong with answering it every now and then and it's not a real hard task when you have a line of people outside your business to walk 35 ft and let them know there's a problem. It was a very hot day as usual and they just left us sitting out there with no information. I did give an earful to an employee named Raven and also to Oliver the manager. They were both very polite and told me that they would pass my expressions on to the company. I understand that things happen but they're also ways to handle them. Both Walmart Stores on buckeye as well as baseline need a huge overhaul as well as employee training. There's no excuse for an employee not knowing what time their own store opens. Customer service is a thing of the past in these two stores. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN WALMART. read more

I have to give 5 stars because it was 100% better than going to the Walmart on Estrella in Goodyear. It was clean, individuals stocking were considerate and had their items out of the way. The cashiers were really nice and helpful. I don't shop here just stopped by on our way home. We drive to Surprise to go to Winco. Shelves are stocked ( they stock at night so they are not in your way). They don't have employees shopping on the floor (should be using items from the back). I bag my own groceries but the bags are better. Can't wait until next year when they open their new store in Goodyear!!! read more

Beware of buying Walmart Gift Cards at this location. Employees here are opening the card packaging, stealing the numbers and sealing them back up, putting at their register where customers buy them and the cashier knows it is loaded. So before the customer even makes it out the door they steal every last dollar from the card. Sounds kind of crazy, but we added all the pieces up watching the employees to figure out how it is happening. We bought a gift card and noticed how it was all handled by the Walmart people and thought it was odd. We should have payed attention to our gut feeling that something was wrong. Sure enough, we checked it online and all the money was used up. Thankfully it was only $50. We tried to tell the store manager and she acted like it was impossible. That she has never had a card number stolen in a Walmart Superstore? She refused to even look into what the employee were doing pulling the cards out of the packaging. My guess is that they likely have a huge problem here. Bottom line, they won't do anything about it and we are out the money. Don't be a victim of the fraud going on at this store. read more

Website said carseat exchange would be Sept. 27, 28 and 29. I called to double check as we have 2 car seats that have been sitting in our garage. They ended the event on the 21st. They "reached capacity" I just don't think thats fair! They should of had a limit set per store. That way everyone had a chance. Piss Poor Planning from a Piss Poor store.
