Everything for my Cobb salad and then some $31

I've been sleep in WinCo!! Not anymore lol. Everything was neat and fully stocked. The prices beat literally every store I typically shop at. The produce and meat prices blew me away. The avocados were all not ready but what are you going to do , it's a common hit or miss at any store. Luckily the bag of avocados were perfect and only a couple bucks. I'm not that happy with the winco water bottles, out of the 24 pack not a single bottle could stay up right without falling over. The cashier was very friendly and had great small talk. Overall a great experience and I can't wait to go back.

Love visiting Winco in Surprise! We most recently have started coming here regularly to buy protein bars. It's very convenient that they sell them individually - that way we can try multiple, and get whatever amount we want. I enjoy seeing all they offer - it's a regular grocery store plus so much more! It's awesome how much they have that sets them apart, such as candy that you can buy individually that you normally wouldn't be able to get outside of a pack. It's convenient and a place even my teen sister enjoys browsing!

    Interesting offering.

I've been here twice since my bank is in the area. I've got to say, this market has a large selection of goods and pretty darn good prices. My other half loved all the various seafood and meat selections. I found quite alot of meatless items I've notvseen before. I'm happy , ways happy for variety. Both of us are impressed by the produce section, the cheese availability and frozen foods. There are name brands, some brands I'm not familiar with and some that appear to be store brands. What impressed me was how bright and clean the store is as well as how the layout gives you enough room to get around. I purchased enough food and goods to restock my pantry. We've kinda gone through it since we moved back to the Phoenix area and the prices helped us keep on budget. Yes, we'll be back.

    Maggots

Be careful when purchasing dog food from here! I purchased only a week ago and today when getting ready to feed my pets, I find maggots and beetles throughout!! They said unfortunately they wouldn't be able to help since it's been opened for more than a week

Love WinCo in Utah. This store was a far cry short. Half their deli section was taped off and no fresh salads at all. Why? WHY?

I'd never been to a Winco before & it's kinda Aldi-esque. Good prices & a seafood counter, bakery, and bulk food bins. Busy place.

All I know is I like that one section where you can get nuts, seeds, dehydrated fruit, etc. in those bins. I always do a walk thru, but it seems no different than a traditional national chain grocery store, but with higher prices. Can't what I get here at those other places, so I hope it makes it.

During our visit, one of the employees let us know about a great special on fresh oats that were only $5.00 per pound, which was much less expensive than the packaged options in the aisle. We really appreciated her taking the time to point out the savings. A helpful tip is to download the store's app and sign up for their rewards program. You can clip digital coupons before you shop and take advantage of additional discounts, promotions, and special offers. They also had a manager's special on fresh ground beef for $7.99 per pound, which was another great value. The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to shop. The meat, produce, and other fresh items all looked fresh and well-stocked. We were able to find nearly everything on our shopping list. The only item we had trouble finding was plain vanilla yogurt, as there seemed to be more dairy-free options, such as cashew yogurt, along with several varieties of Chobani. Another helpful tip is that the store charges $0.10 per bag, although the bags are sturdy and reusable. You can also bring your own reusable shopping bags to save money. This location is conveniently located in the Prasada Shopping Center next to Cobblestone, Ross, and many other shops and restaurants. There is plenty of parking, making it easy to get in and out. There was one employee who used the bathroom. She did not wash her hands before leaving the restroom which was disgusting and also they should have a sign in the bathroom for all employees to wash their hands before returning to work since they are handling food and products and also bagging groceries. Overall, we had another positive shopping experience. The friendly customer service, clean store, fresh selection, and money-saving specials will definitely keep us coming back.

I had put some cases of soda in my cart and thought I had read the discount tag correctly. Upon checking out, I didn't see the discount I expected. One of the staff members saw my puzzled expression as I scrutinized my receipt unaware that he was watching me. He kindly asked if there was something he could help me with. Sheepishly I explained the discount I expected. He acknowledged my concern and said that actually I needed to buy 3 cases and I would get 3 cases free. Since I had 3 cases in my cart, he took me back to the shelf to collect 3 more cases and show me the discount tag again. He explained that I needed to have all 6 cases scanned so that the discount would be applied. Since I had already made my purchase, he allowed me to take the 3 extra cases and he wrote on my receipt that I was due a refund of a specific amount and that he authorized the refund. Customer service was closed because it was late at night. He said I could return with my receipt to collect the amount I overpaid. Wow! So many things were remarkable about this interaction. First, I was actually mistaken about the discount. It was different than I had expected, but still a better deal than I realized. Second, the staff member approached me and offered to help me. Third, he actually worked hard to make the transaction happen while I was there. Most store associates would not have done any of the above. That one interaction won me over as an Albertsons customer. Anytime I'm in Surprise, AZ, I will definitely do my shopping at that location. Unfortunately, I live in another state where I don't have an Albertsons nearby. If you do, consider yourself lucky!

Lots of floor spills... about a third of the time I go, there is a significant spill. (Blue gel squiggle all the way down the shampoo aisle), etc. They aren't walking the aisles for floor checks.
