Ordered home delivery . On the day of my order I cancelled the order during the preparation phase. I even called the store to make sure there was not a problem. About 30 minutes later the driver showed up with a partial order. I refused the order. Walmart billed me for the order saying I signed for it. I did not sign for it and received none of the order at all. They are not issuing a refund despite my protests and explanations. Guess I will protest to Capital One the issuer of my Walmart credit card. Should that fail..small claims court the next step. read more

Snails could probably deliver your curbside pickup order faster... There were three workers, delivering just one car at a time (even if just one item) at a very slow pace, then going back inside and spending 10 minutes there before coming out with the next order. We've been here 37 minutes already and have only seen each worker one time. Pickup lot is now full. Only two cars have left since we got here (with their orders). read more

My most recent, and likely my last, visit to this location was an affront to me. We shopped for the few things we were looking for and went to check out. The place, in general, was filthier and sloppier than usual. We asked for assistance to locate something. We were told to try on the other side of the store. It turned out to be in the next aisle. We were jostled and cut off several times by employees wearing signs that they would shop for us for free. It was the registers that held something truly horrific. The whole place had been changed over to self-scanning stations. It was chaos. Small groups of employees stood in knotted groups laughing and joking. There did not seem to be any management. The elderly, mentally challenged and families with young children were left to their own devices. It was a disgusting display of the misapplication of technology. I will not visit this location again and will caution others to avoid it. Low quality and high technology are a combination for disaster. read more

I have been going here for years. After today I will not. It was my fault but I had forgotten to take my cash back at the UScan. I got to my car and couldn't find it. I didn't remember taking it. I knew it would probably be gone but I went in just in case. The cashiers did nothing . They didn't seem surprised. I asked them to look at the Camara. They sent me to customer service after not doing anything. I went to customer service and the lady there was rude and told me to go to the cashies. I told her that sent me there. She says" of of course they did" and walks away. She starts helping other customers. She did call a manager down . The manager said she going to check the Camara , comes back in a few minutes smirking says oh ya you took it. I said" I took it? Did you see where I put it" she says no I didn't see the video. The cashiers said u took it. Seems like something isn't right. there. The manager was rude. Smirking . Lol. If I was going to scam Walmart it would be for more than 60 dollars. read more

I like coming to Walmart because most of anything and everything you may need or want is here at this store. The only downside to shopping here is not having enough cashiers, lines are way too long. They have probably about 15 cashier lines but only 3 cashiers working and the self checkout seems be packed as well. I've seen more workers on the floor than the cashiers aisles. read more

All the Walmarts in the Metro Detroit area are filthy and disgusting it's a reflection of not only the employees but the community it surrounds not necessarily the company, I have been to text this to grants pass Oregon to Arkansas to many many Southern States and well it's all about community and employees and the people here in the Metro Detroit area don't care about their community or they wouldn't litter and the employees and the customers come from the same community. The Metro Detroit area you get the attitude if they don't get paid enough it's not my job, down south they're grateful to have a job and they help you find everything you need the parking lot is clean because the community and the employees both have respect for each other. read more

Rude staff, no one was enforcing their own rule about wearing masks, and unbelievably low amount of stock in ALL AISLES, pokey pokey pokey check out staff( when you could find one open)- how can this place stay open??? Friday night at 7:30 pm, and they're locking down half the exits, with a full store. I have been to some pretty bad Walmart's, but this one takes the cake. While this Walmart is by far the cleanest and most organized one I have ever been to, their customer service is straight up awful. Specifically Robin who works the service desk. Now mind you, I hardly ever call employees out by name but this woman was by far the most useless and most miserable person I have ever encountered in this type of role. If anyone at the management of this store reads this review, do yourself a favor and put this lady as far back in the warehouse as you can if you care at all about your customers. We came in here on a Monday morning to return some stuff we bought online for our daughters grad party we ended up not using. Right off the bat we could tell this was not going to be a good experience. No greeting, no eye contact just a look of disgust that we were actually going to make this woman do some work instead of just standing around holding up the counter. 99% of everything that had to go back was problem free until we got to two beer tubs we bought. We hand her the receipt and she can't find the item in the computer. No problem right? She will certainly keep trying or call some backup in to help, right? Nope. Just a blank stare accompanied by her trying to hand our receipt back. Um, no sweetheart, we aren't leaving with these tubs. DO YOUR FREAKING JOB! We have the receipt, we have the item, pick up the Bat Phone and get someone up here to process our return! At this point the line behind us is about 10 deep and Robin is still moving at a snails pace and legitimately appears to not be willing to get someone else who can help us out. So at this point, my old lady is FURIOUS and starts storming through the store looking for a manager. She finds one not to far from the service desk and guess what? EQUALLY AS USELESS. Unreal. Anyway, after just staring at our receipt for probably 7 minutes looking for who knows what (paper authenticity maybe, who the hell knows) the manager tells ole Robin to just give us our $9. 9 bucks. All this for fucking 9 dollars. I don't care if I'm on fire in the parking lot of this Walmart, I will never EVER come back in here again - I suggest you steer clear as well. read more

This Wal-mart in Canton is dirty and the women had beards!! I'm not kidding! No really...I'm not kidding... I saw more cracks in the behinds of the people than I saw in the egg department when I was checking the eggs! I didn't find alot of friendliness or anyone excited to help me when i was looking for the "junk food" aisle.. They put your groceries on a "rounder" and they load the bags with about one or two items for each bag. *Most likely so the bag won't buckle and your groceries won't go tumbling out, I suppose? But in doing so, they never really let you know when they are done and it's pretty hard to tell. I've tried to say "is this all of mine?" They'll say "yes" without thinking and then I'm driving back to pick up a bag or two of groceries that got left there. They don't have some of the brands that I like to get and they don't have much to choose from in the way of many items and not many brands. The prices are not that much different from the regular grocery stores and the atmosphere isn't so hot. Not my favorite "go to" store unless I'm in a pinch and I need to get in and get out and just buy a few little items. The lines are really long and the service yourself lines are half the time broken down and the other ones are very very long wait time. All of this and not to mention the many "trashy" customers with "potty mouths"...you know..the kind that are screaming and cussing and grabbing their toddlers arms, while yelling at them and spanking them! GRRRR I just want to smack those kinds of people upside the head...then I'd be no better than they are...but I at least can think about it! Not on my list of favorite places to go.. read more

I don't go to Walmart unless absolutely necessary. This location is large, has plenty of parking, and usually you can find someone to help you. I don't shop here unless I have to because I have purchased many items that have been opened, or the safety seal has been removed. This is insane! It's such a big safety concern. Today, I visited for the craft section. When I went to check out the cashier was busy playing on her phone and I had to wait 20 seconds for her to finish before she said hello to me. I got a couple of Clerks who seemed like they could care less and I got a couple of Clerks who were very helpful so I'll give them a middle grade of 3 stars. At least I found the fabric I was after to make a custom blanket for someone and a couple of Yarns to match it since I will be crocheting around the outer edge. I went in to this store about a week ago. No more cashiers and I scanned my own groceries. The scanner scanned items to many times probably my fault but I over paid by $25.00 or maybe a little less. I tried to call the store as I know I left but wanted to let them atleast know. I was so upset the registeres for checking out were jammed together with long lines. I will never set foot in that store again. Trash all over the parking lot. People were not buy big orders so let's see how long this last. read more

2 Stars because of their construction, some bad modular setup, lousy in-stock, and lack luster service. Honestly, it looks like this place is getting the new "spark style" super-center remodel. If that's the case this place will look fantastic in a few months. I hope to be back in the area this winter to check it out again and adjust this review appropriately. Here's hoping there will be a serious standard improvement by then. Until then, however, they get a meager vote from me. Certain things that can definitely be improved...service. Service, service, service. If I ask an associate a question about a product they're standing next to, I expect something more than a shrug. My advice if you get an ass of an employee who refuses to help you...call the corporate line or the store manager (numbers are at the front of the store on a sign, and at the Site-to-Store area). Walmart takes complaint calls pretty damn seriously, as unbelievable as that may be to some. I'll admit, I'm a supervisor for a store in California, so maybe I judge these places harshly. But let's be realistic...the prices are going to be the cheapest regardless of which one you go to. They're not gonna get a good rating for me just because they're my same corporation. Believe it or not, there is a serious standard which is set for these stores in both service and setup. Even given the construction and the nightmares that a remodel brings, this place can stand for some serious improvements. Back-to-School event needs to be properly tagged. Those giant bins with items have a slot to put a price sign in there...why are half of them blank? I think it's a good idea that they sticker so many of the products with the price...because they're not bothering to properly organize most of the areas in the store or price tag them correctly on the shelf. That's more than a service issue, it's kinda illegal as well (at least in California). Be back in the winter, hope to see a step up in this place. read more

UPDATE. I spoke to Claude, the Store Manager. He's new to the location, and is working on changing the morale, and attitudes of the floor staff and management. I will take him at his word. I won't be back for a bit. Therefore, my star rating won't change until I return to the store after Claude has had a decent opportunity to fix what is broken. Garbage customer service. From the people on the floor, to their management. Not that it matters to a global company like Walmart. My wife and I had the worst experience we've ever had at a retailer yesterday. I decided to wait until now to write my views so I wouldn't swear every other word. But suffice to say, we took our Christmas shopping elsewhere. Cost us quite a bit more. But knowing that this p.o.s. company won't see the money, made it worth it. Understaffed, under-stocked, under-trained. I could go on and on. But again. Walmart doesn't care. I went into the store to buy items for my newborn baby. Because I am high risk I'm always looking for electric stroller. I like the fact they had plenty of handicap strollers for people. I headed to the baby section. I can honestly say the baby selection was a nice size. The only problem I had with the section is the fact that the labels was difficult to read as far as prices go. You need to look at the picture and item number to locate the item. It was so difficult I had to go to the media department to get help. The lady who helped me was really nice. Hey its another Walmart Review!! This one is in Canton. And There is a distinct difference between this one and the one in Taylor, The Taylor Walmart is already a Supercenter while this one is under construction. Which seems that its been under construction for month!.. As I arrived you almost directed around the whole store similar to what police do when you arrive for a concert at pine knob. Parking is very difficult but oddly enough I dodged a few women walking down the center of the parking lot with cell phone in hand talking to nestle into a nice spot near the store. As I walked into the place I noticed all of the new enhancements and couldn't help but notice over a dozen employees conversing and smoking at the picnic tables in the front!..Wonderful advertisement for your store. I was greeted promptly and nicely and grabbed one of they many carts that are in need of repair. "Either the wheels are bent or barely attached". I walked around and I was pleasantly surprised that even though the place was under construction shelves seemed to be filled with product! "Hey Taylor? you could learn from this store"! It was a nice clean environment. I went in with the idea of getting a new released movie. Boy what a surprise they were actually more expensive then a local competitor! So much for lower prices!.. Oh Well what can ya do!.. As I left I noticed the line was running smooth and other then dodging some women in head dresses and customers walking in with a half dozen children my experience at this Walmart was well. I went to the canton michigan walmart 2 days ago, all self check outs and I did not check my reciept but the lines were horrific and it was very chaotic. I went in today again same thing it was awful and I noticed people seemed to be picking up small amouts not full shopping cart of stuff. I checked out and I checked my reciept when i got home, I only had a few items and it was $56.00 and some change. I scanned 1 hot pockets $5.66 and I heard the scanner when I checked my reciept I was charged for 3, so that is over $11.00 and then it happened to another item a small box of hot pockets I bought 1 and was charged for 3. The scanner only made the noise as it was scanning. I will never go back in that store. I tried to call 3 times. It was my fault for leaving the store and not checking my recipet. This parkinglot was dirty and the lines are long and now I am trying to figure out if I was ripped off on my last shopping trip. i will never go back to Walmart again. cutting their cashiers may be saving them money but I do not want to scan and pack my own groceries. read more

This store makes other Walmart stores look great. Shelves are never organized and look messy. Many grocery isles are not stocked fully and often run out of basic household needs like comet, dish soap etc. Staff is rude, ignorant and are not helpful at all. I addressed one cashiers attitude to her and she turned around, looked at the cashier behind her and both started laughing at me. I complained to their supervisor but I doubt anything ever happened. Went to this store to pick up a package I bought online Stood at the pick up desk for about 5 minutes with all kinds of employees around & no one ever addressed me. Asked a woman named Allison if someone could help me, she looked me right in the eyes & turned around and walked away. Waited a few more minutes & asked another employee at the service desk for help. She paged someone, employee came over asking did I need help with photos. Um, No? I'm waiting to pick up my package that I ordered online. She says "Not my department " and turned around and left.
