Great experience. Last week, kind of hurrying and left some items at the store. Called and was expecting the worse, since I live over one hour from this Walmart. Nolan told me that I could come in at anytime and he would have my items. Two days later, went into store and the gold coat return manager did not know Nolan, no note and nothing to be picked up. Both Tim and Carol went over my receipt, let me know what I missed and was a very pleasant experience. People like Tim and Carol is what makes this store a nice place to shop. All in all the store is always full of friendly and helpful staff. Always clean and you get the best deals here. The main thing I dislike in the store is the Customer Service Area. Having 1 person there to help a big line is not helpful. One associate in particular Jeff has the WORST customer service I've ever seen. He seems to really hate his job and never wants to help or go out of his way for anyone and when he calls you up to the counter and talks to you he makes you feel like an inconvenience and rambles on about how much he dislikes being in customer service. One time my husband and I were getting a dresser but the one we wanted showed in the back and not on the shelf. So they sent Jeff back to go look. We waited 25 minutes to have Jeff come back in his jacket with his glasses on reeking of smoke and saying oh sorry I forgot to come tell you we dont have it. The pharmacy here is a complete joke. You get told three different stories by three different people about what's going on with your meds. They never get faxes or emails that doctors send them. They are rude and unprofessional. If you need to get your medicine on time and want to be treated like a human go somewhere else. read more

In the last 6 days, 2 different men have sexually harassed me in the self-checkout line farther away from the registers. I yelled at the first apx 70 year old man you get away from me. He didn't. And So tried to ignore the second man only yesterday. It's like they wait until a woman their attracted to get in the line and then they jump in behind them. Both men basically stood less than 6 inches from me do they might bump into me and end up touching my body. The second guy watched all I was doing on my cell phone over my shoulder. This Walmart Supercenter is where we get most if not all of our food. We save a ton of money shopping here. The place is vast and the isles are wide, we don't ever bump cart with another customer. The AC works flawlessly pumping fresh air which makes every trip to Walmart pleasant. The produce department is the best. The fruits and vegetables are as fresh as they are just picked right from the fields. We also get all our clothes here as well. I have to admit, Walmart is a little behind when it comes to fashion and what is in style. But who cares when at the end of the day, we save money. This is not as much about the products or employees, but rather the willful disregard of the safety of its customers. On December 24th 2019 I had made a purchase like any other day with the exception that the Walmart store seemed to be filled to capacity. The parking lot was also completely filled. Upon attempting to exit, I was re-routed to the opposite exit due to the doors being locked. There was one employee there to handle this. These are doors that are required to be unlocked during business hours (especially for the amount of people inside the store). My biggest issue was when I advised the "manager" that they were putting the public at risk for any incident that could possibly occur. They paid no attention to my remark. I called the Sheriffs office to file a complaint and create an incident report to share with the fire marshals office. Upon the arrival of the Deputy I got a chance to stress my concern at which he advised me that he had a more pressing matter. As I walked back to my vehicle I was approached by the deputy and was told that I was the pressing matter. The Walmart employees tried to lie their way through this safety concern by saying I was asked to leave. Unfortunately for them I had been on the phone with the Sheriffs Office dispatcher and it was all being recorded. The deputy refused to trespass me due to that reason. My safety issue is about issues arising more these days. Mass shootings in public places... thankfully nothing happened. For those of you out there wondering if the doors were really locked, I was able to watch people try to pry the doors open without success. Several hundred people trying to exit one door could produce a severe consequence for Walmart if there were an emergency situation. Consistent service for sure......Bad that is! Pharmacy being rude in the phone telling me my prescription is being filled as if I'm bothering them, then not having my prescriptions when I get there. The deli counter pretty much the same...wanted a pound of salami and after he cut 1/2 pound told me in order to get a full pound he'd have to open another pkg.....really??? After I told him to go ahead do whatever u have to do, he struggled so long, I had to request another worker. Then when I got to check out the self service line was 15 people deep and moved at a snails pace. I discovered why as when I finally got up to the check out, the machine kept pausing and read seek attendant, who was not so attendant. Ain't nobody got time for that!!!!! I work for Roadie and I've never seen such a mess picking up groceries! The whole pick up area would be filled with customers who have been waiting for the groceries for hours as well as they would have to leave and come back the next day?! The manager Ryan has no management skills whatsoever! Instead of apologizing he becomes very defensive and has more excuses for running it poorly than Anything else! When contacting the so-called store manager Jose and big John and explaining the problem to them they all just stick up for each other due to they don't want to lose any more employees so they just turn away independent contractors delivering for them! They are discriminating their bias and they don't care about customer service at all! Of course they are all men and extremely bias! Evidently the so-called store managers have only been there for a few days so they don't have any balls to address their problem instead they just let it go and they just don't care ‍ If you don't have any problem waiting days for your groceries it's a good place to go LOL There are some really nice employees that work there however, with the manager Ryan I don't see how they would last he is a horrible horrible manager! We have been to this store at least once a week for the past couple months. With only one exception, every time we've asked someone for assistance with info about a product, we were told they didn't know, it wasn't their department (even if they were working in the department), or they couldn't help us because they were on break. We've been completely ignored by associates in Electronics and also had them walk away while we were talking to them. We are not rude or difficult people and were completely put off by this. Walmart lost a high-dollar sale because of this. We seriously would expect the associates in Electronics to be at least somewhat educated about the products being sold in their department, but we have not found this to be the case. Also, not enough registers are open to handle the flow of customers. The cashiers have been the friendliest employees in the store but need to work more quickly. read more

I went into the store with my friend the other night to pickup some wine, and did not have my id on me. I was told I needed to provide ID even though I was not buying the wine. I left to have my friend purchase it by himself, and the store manager made a scene about how he was not to shop at this store again. The manager (hunter I believe) was very rude to my friend even though he had his ID ON HIM. We will not be shopping at this Walmart again due to this experience. read more

This store is dirty, messy and unorganized. The shelves are always empty, you can't find what you want because it's out. The new display cardboard boxes are tacky, falling down and hard to see the product. The employees aren't friendly or helpful. There are never enough check stands open, waiting in line takes longer than your shopping does. I will not shop in this store anymore. It's worth it for me to drive out of my way and go to the south Carson City store. read more

I visited this Walmart in the middle of the day at 2 p.m., on the way to an appointment. I stopped in to buy computer speakers. I was very surprised to see management actively working with employees all throughout the store. The whole experience seemed like a very positive one, expecially for Walmart. Moreover, when I got to the electronics section, I made eye contact with an employee who I promptly asked to show me where the computer speakers were located. The employee addressed me as Sir, saying, yes, sir, and then walked me back to the section. After I told the employee thank you, the employee again responded, you're welcome, sir. Overall, very impressed by this Walmart experience and like most Walmarts these days, this store was very clean and neat and organized. I have been here several times when I am in town. This is a nice large Walmart. It is very clean and quite organized. Stock is always full from food to all other products. It is also very clean. There is lots of parking and employees are helpful and friendly. I will definitly keep coming back when in the area. I would recommend this location to family and friends. read more

Most of the employees are very nice, and helpful to point you in the right direction of what you need. I don't really care for the managers much, because they are very rude!!! Ask them where something is, and they scoff at you with disbelief. Like the customer is supposed to remember where everything is. I find that to be false, the last few times Ive gone there, they had nothing i was looking for. This review is for the clinic: after my step daughter was seen at the clinic a prescription was written for an antibiotic. A couple days later we received a call saying the wrong antibiotic was prescribed. So we got in the car and drove to the pharmacy. Lo an behold no prescription was called in. I had a brand new set of snow chains for my last vehicle and sold it before I had to use the chains. I tried to exchange those chains for the right size for my new vehicle and because I didn't have a receipt for the exchange ,they denied me the exchange. I was willing to pay the difference if any. So if I try to use the chains iam stuck with and get in an accident, I guess they will be hearing from my lawyer. I guess Walmart don't care about there customer's safety. read more

My mom's Toyota needed a new battery, oil change & wipers. I called Walmart Automotive late afternoon 12/26 and confirmed they would be open the next morning at 7 a.m. I asked if I needed an appointment and was told I would not. I got to Walmart later than I planned (7:45 a.m.) but automotive was closed. After waiting several minutes a cashier with a till arrived but said I had to wait a few more minutes. A lady arrived for an 8 a.m. appointment to put new tires on her pickup so we both waited in 20 degree temps freezing. Finally someone came to open the door but it would not open. They would not let us come through the garage which I can understand so we had to walk all the way around and through the store to automotive. When we got to the counter I told the lady to go first since she had an appointment. The cashier couldn't find her paperwork. She finally said she was just the cashier and called a mechanic. After a couple minutes the mechanic found the paperwork and went over to get the tires. He had trouble finding them but finally did. When he saw that they were big pickup truck tires, he commented that it was going to be rough on him since he was the only mechanic there and would have to do the job by himself. I asked if any other mechanics were suppose to come in. He said another guy would come in around 10 a.m. It was apparent I would have a long wait especially if someone else came in that had an appointment so I said, 'screw this' and went to Toyota service instead and was out in an hour. I am sure Walmart would have been less expensive but the frustration and "piss-poor" setup & service on this day was not worth it nor did it instill any confidence that my mom's car would be serviced properly. The cashier and the mechanic were nice but whoever is in charge of automotive needs to get their act together otherwise what's the point. read more

Dr. Hemmer takes the time to explain every question you ask about what's going on with your eyes. The opticians are patient and friendly as I choose my frames and lens features. The selection of frames is weighted to the Walmart demographic and so I sometimes have trouble finding ones I like, but haven't had to walk away yet. I've never had a problem in over five years and four new prescriptions. When my son did have a problem with his fit, they cheerfully fixed them no charge. I also asked them to clean my glasses while we were there and they did so - for some reason they do a much better job than I can. I've been wearing glasses for over 40 years, getting new prescription at least every 3 years, so I have a lot of experience. And I'm very happy with the North Walmart Vision Center in Carson City. The only reason they don't get five stars from me is because the frames, like I said, aren't to my taste. read more

Went to the Carson Tahoe Clinic inside Walmart. WORST EXPERIENCE FROM THE WORST PROVIDER EVER! I've had a upper respiratory for weeks with no improvement with over the counter meds. DAWN ELTON PA was horrible!!! She said she doesn't prescribe antibiotics and there was nothing she could for me!!! Then she had the nerve to tell me my BMI was elevated and I should lose weight! I recently purchased an item thru Walmart online. When it was not what I ordered. I attempted to take it to the store and return it. Walmart told me they could not take the item back because it was purchased through a third party. Whatever that means. Although Walmart sold the item, and charged my account, they obviously do not stand behind their products. They gave me the phone number to call the third party. This walmart store is the dirtiest and the most smelly men's bathroom in Carson Reno area. I don't think they care about their men's bathroom by the entrance side of the store at all. When you go inside the bathroom the urinal has not enough water flow sometimes it is also broken! Don't get me wrong, the store is great! I like it and I go there a lot, but the bathroom..? go inside and check it out, it's been like that for many months, they never keep it clean.
