When I came in there was no one behind the counter. I looked into the shop to see two guys sitting down watching a third working. I tried to go back out so I could ask for help and automatic door wouldn't open. Finally a young man, one of the two that was sitting down came out. Acting annoyed he asked what I needed. I explained we were on the way to our grandsons birthday party and needed a tire repaired. He said it would take an hour and a half. I asked if I could leave the tire. He said yes, if I took it off myself. I did, they said they could put it on when i returned. When I returned the manager said if I wanted then to put it on it would be a 45 minute wait. They said there were four cars ahead of me. I asked how that was if I had dropped it off earlier. I ended up putting the tire on myself. While doing so my car fell off the jack and almost fell on me and damaged my front bumper. Waste off $15 and now have to get my car repaired, because of your lazy unhelpful shop. read more

I cannot give any stars at all for this review. One star would be 3 too many, so I cannot "select" any rating stars. I am BEYOND livid, beyond shock at Walmart's response to my calls, and beyond let down by Walmart. I just got off the phone with my disabled son. Once again, Walmart did not deliver his groceries to the correct door (or even to the correct apartment complex). I called Walmart.com right away. Actually, I got on chat and had them call me, fortunately they called within a minute. I'm afraid I was LESS than polite. When I explained this had happened and how upset I was as my disabled son had no food and no groceries (even though we had them expedite the delivery because my son was hungry), they connected me with a supervisor. The supervisor was pleasant and helpful at first. Very helpful. In addition to trying to help me resolve the situation, she was going to help me file a formal complaint. Unfortunately, after about 1/2 an hour on the phone, she dropped my call. (She had tried calling the store to speak with the manager to see if we could find a resolution.) Oddly, (VERY ODDLY) a person picked up the phone while I was on hold and said "hello?". I told the man my name and waited for him to address the situation, but he did not seem to understand why I called him. (I did not call him, I was on hold with the supervisor, waiting for her to speak with the store manager when he picked up.) After a 3-minute call with lots of confusion on both our parts, we concluded, some NON-Walmart person had picked up a line, thinking I called him; in reality, I had been on hold when he picked up his ringing phone. VERY STRANGE. I reached out to the chat-bot on Walmart.com again. This time, there was a message saying I had to call the 1800 #; I was unable to have the chat-bot have an agent call me this time. I did, and I waited a while for the next agent to answer. After telling the agent I needed a supervisor STAT, she said I had to tell the whole story before she could escalate it. FINALLY, after an extremely frustrating re-telling of this situation, after she tried to help me despite my telling her I wanted to speak with a manager (in the first place), she put me in the "que" for a supervisor (a very long que). Ultimately, a different supervisor spoke with me. I informed her of the following: their failure to deliver as promised and how it negatively affected our lives - how important it was that it be quickly handled to finally provide my son his groceries. I explained: in addition to providing the address with the apartment number, I included the apartment name and detailed directions to my son's home - my disabled son walked a block over to another complex with another name and another address {hoping they would be there) to pick up the incorrectly delivered groceries (in temperatures over 100 degrees) - my son had to order a ride-share vehicle to pick up him and the groceries and take them to his home (there were too many groceries for him to carry home by himself) - finally, the groceries had been out on the ground in the 100+ degrees Texas heat and had spoiled. This second supervisor told me she could not help me any more than by submitting a case to get my money returned. This, because I "required" a signature so the groceries would actually get to his home, and "somebody" actually signed for them (even though it was not my son). She further informed me: the team to whom she sent the complaint would decide if the money would get reimbursed or not - they would only send an email letting me know one way or the other - there is no way for me to speak to anybody and no expectation of actual follow-through on their end - finally, they would not call me to talk to me and I could not call them, they would just send the email. I told her that was not acceptable; my son had to pay a LYFT to take his groceries to his house. They had been in 100+ degrees temperature for an hour, they were not even good. I expected an immediate re-delivery of groceries - IMMEDIATE! My son and I had done nothing wrong, we had paid $150 for the groceries, had no groceries, and an extra LYFT bill on top of all that. He spent an hour of his time ordering; I spent 1.5 hours with customer service agents and with no resolution. Now, after all that, I expect a 100% refund of the groceries, the LYFT amount to be reimbursed, and groceries redelivered to his home immediately. That might seem like a lot of compensation, but we earned that. By the time they compensate me for my 1.5 hours, him for his hour ordering, very hot walk to the other complex to search for lost groceries, the LYFT fee, my DISABLED sons' frustration, hunger, hurt, and anger, not to mention MY outright MOTHER-RAGE, that is getting off lightly. This is actually the first negative review I have EVER written for anybody anywhere. I believe you need to tell people when they do right and not just slam people and companies for possibly just having read more

I used to like coming here but recently some knucklehead decided they needed to rearrange the store. Can't find anything now. Who puts the pool stuff in the middle of cosmetics? Why are the alcohol prep pads not with the lancets? The whole thing is stupid. read more

Beautiful shopping experience. The store was organized beautifully. The layout of this store far surpasses those of other Walmarts. Bathroom is clean, parking lot clear of trash and debris. The store itself it's very clean. Produce selection is nice. I do wish they had a better wine selection similar to that of HEB. I know this store is fairly new but I sure hope it stays this way. read more

Just as bad as the other Walmart's now. This place was great when it opened !!! Now it's like every time you come here there's one checkstand open, the shelves are always empty the meat is always empty if you don't come as soon as they get their truck you can't find what you're looking for. Save your time go to San Antonio and go to H-E-B at least done you'll get what you're looking for and won't have to try to substitute everything you're looking for because the this one hasn't got their truck yet read more

It seems to be a smaller Walmart than other Supercenters, but it gets the job done. They have a decent produce section and bakery. However, they have been out of certain veggies when we have gone on weekends. We like to come out to this location because it's usually a little less crowded than other Walmarts in the area during the week. On weekends, like with most Walmarts, lines can get backed up fairly quick. At this location, there is a Subway dining area for a quick meal. It's a fairly clean location and the staff seems friendly and helpful. I don't have any complaints--it's your typical Walmart. read more

Just 3 stars due to its produce. Not sure how they are going to survive with the China tariffs going on as 99 percent of their products come out China. Perhaps their potatoes do as well. Wife paid the extra for the organic tatters only to get home to find they were greening. Couldn't tell with the plastic wrap on them, was wondering why they bothered. Others she didn't buy were actually sprouting. My wife is from Ireland, she knows her tatters!! read more

Went through self checkout since that's about the only thing open. The employee working it was basically standing by my side while I was scanning my items. My mom was on the one next to me and she went to hers and turned up the volume on the scanner. She then tells my mom "I turned it up so you can hear it" my mom had no problem hearing that loud beep. Oct. 4th 3:00 pm only leaving date and time because I didn't get to see the name of the lady at costumer service , an older lady. I come to this Walmart often and always have great service and all the workers are usually friendly and respectful. But I've come across this lady a few times and she's always been rude. The store is clean and easy to navigate, but the employees are not knowledgeable on their areas. The deli and pharmacy are the worse. If they spend time on training the staff maybe the locals will be more likely to frequent the store. As for now a lot of us go to the local store for fast service. read more

BUYERS BEWARE! THIS WAL MART DOES NOT HONOR POSTED PRICES. So this afternoon around 1 PM I went to this wal mart in Castroville since its so close to my house and i usually go there 3-4X per week. I noticed that the price on the avocados were .77 cents PER POUND. So, I thought that it was a great deal so I grabbed about 15-20 of them as they were small. I go through the self check out and when I rang them up it asked me for the QUANITY. I asked the nice young woman monitoring the area if she could help us and told her that they were posted at .77 cents per pound. She went over to confirm the sign and came back to put the computer into "manager mode" and said that she had to call CSM to change this from quantity to weight as she wasn't able to do it. We waited for about 5 minutes, and an older lady with short hair and glasses came over and was told of the problem. Her first words to me were "THESE ARE NOT SOLD BY THE POUND, THEY ARE .77 CENTS EACH. HOW MANY DO YOU WANT" with a nasty attitude, as if it were my fault. When paying for something, I'm expecting to pay the posted price. This was THEIR mess up. Not MINE, so I said "NONE." I know for a fact that had this happened at HEB, they would have gone to check and honored the posted price. Won't be going back. read more

i love this Walmart! maybe because its new? its nice and organized unlike other Walmarts Ive been to. Also its only less than 10 minutes away from me. this works out because we are new to San Antonio and im terrified in driving around this city. If u are comparing prices to other stores, HEB is cheaper than Walmart but i will still shop here. read more
