I have NO idea what people complain about! Honestly!!! This is a Stocked, Clean, and Modern Walmart! They are so lucky to have one! Bargain prices, so low. You find so many good deals at Walmart! I find the new designs, it just elevates our shopping experience. Walmart was never so swanky like this, not like now. We just accepted it was Walmart and we got A good price so it didn't need to be perfect like Macy's or Marshalfields. Now, Walmart is so sleek and modern with the updates and signs BUT. I love it's still Walmart. The everyday low prices in the same warehouse spaces we are use to. Not perfect - but perfect enough we always come back and see ya! I appreciate there cool designs and their bargains. I'm gonna always Love Walmart, they do a good job, always. Perfection comes with a price, adjust your price for what you get please. This Walmart was still up and running as usual during snow day in Chicago. I like how there is a variety of meats available including beef tongue! I always love Walmart because they have everything that I need and the staff are always helpful and the prices are amazing. There is a free parking lot and the layouts are similar in most of stores in different states. I love the supercenters because they have fruit and vegetables and so much more. I will give this store a mediocre rating. On the positive side, the pharmacy is very efficient and courteous. On the downside, there are often too few cashiers, and in some cases, they are not fully prepared to wait on customers when they first open. Also, items often ring up higher than what it says on the shelf, and in most cases, they will not give it to the customer for the lower price. read more

Night manager surperira is very rude, she came out of the security room with three security guards and told me you had two receipts. She made me feel like a criminal just I paid my credit card and the money didn't go on my card for four days. I can tell she does this all the time, using the security as her pit bulls. She deliberately waited until the store manager left who said he would help me the next day if I don't have my money on my card. She wants to be a prison guard not a store manager. This wasn't even a job for security. She made me feel like a criminal. They need a new manager and fast, this wasn't her first rodeo and it won't be her last if they don't correct this problem. read more

At the end of the day Walmart is going to be Walmart. Also, I understand that it is the holiday season and it will be packed regardless, so this is a customer service review. Now I'm not asking to be greeted with a smile or what not but for the staff to at least be courteous while on shift would be helpful. The store is disorganized so it is hard to find things. With that being said, I was led astray a few times by the young people on staff and it was even a hassel to get their attention. Their in groups chatting and feel like you're bothering them for asking for help. I'm sorry, if you don't want me to ask for help take off the vest or go hide in the break room. It was honestly disheartening asking a floor employee for help. Along with that there were some positives. The young man checkin people put in cosmetics was very helpful not only to myself but everyone and my cashier was a delight. So tell the other employees to take notes from them. It wasn't all a Grinchnest of negativity. With some better training of floor staff I can see things improving read more

Fast friendly and spot on. I appreciate the honesty and help each time I have needed it. Once they spotted a bull in a tire as we were about to go on a long trip. I believe they saved us from a real problem. I used to go here often to this Walmart location because they used to be opened 24 hrs a day but i know they had changed the hours recently and so having to go here during the day can be quite the hassle due to the difficulty of finding parking since a lot of people seem to go to this location. Check out can get really bad and they don't seem to have as many staff on registers so self-check out is the best way around this! Prices are cheap! Stores are better as far as being neat and organized but could be better. Plenty of sanitizing stations but don't see them cleaning the carts anymore. Use my own sanitizer as I have always done before pandemic. The reason fir 4 star is because things do run out. read more

Very clean store and usually has a good selection of products, depending on the current state of COVID. But throughout the pandemic, they have restocked quickly which is greatly appreciated. Staff is so/so depending on who you talk to--just like any customer service employee. Not a big Walmart fan but this specific store has always been the preferred store to go to when I do have to go. The biggest draw for me? The employees. Hands down, everyone I have encountered are friendly, engaging and available.Have you noticed that at other Walmart stores the employees are few and far between? Not here. Staff is scheduled correctly and does not seem that management is trying to pinch penny's with labor cuts.Also, the cashiers are very friendly and speedy. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had. I place an order online to have it delivered yesterday. The order was delayed and never delivered. Supposedly it was to arrive this morning and it never did. After 5 hours of calling the store on 75th and Ashland in Chicago and speaking with the support agents online I still don't have my groceries and have to wait 24 to 48 hours for the cancellation process to go through so that I can receive a refund to then reorder groceries that may possibly not be delivered again!!!! I hate to give negative feedback, but the issue really is the service. The lines are just ridiculously long. I forgot about this and came here with my husband to pick up a few things. Again, the place was a zoo, with maybe 10 people in each line. I looked at him and basically said, "Never again." My other issue was the service desk. I had a return - they didn't want to do it. I thought Walmart was super-pro-customer service. It was maybe a $3 item. I actually just wanted an exchange. Was a little shocked / disappointed at how I was treated -a bit of an attitude from the ladies there. If they could figure out the long waits and offer a bit more of a smile, an apology, something....besides that, it's a nice store. I have no problem with the selection or anything. I'm forgetting about this location and will just head west to Target in Broadview. read more

This is our first time placing a pick up order from walmart.com. When we arrive to pick up the order we got our items and left we noticed when we got home that some items were missing. We called back up to the grocery pick up center and got Jesus Flores. Jesus was extremely knowledgeable kind and even offered us to come back same day to pick up what we lost. To who it may concern..I brought a computer from this walmart October 14th,I also brought Microsoft office..when I got my computer home Microsoft office was already on my computer...I went back to get a refund for the Microsoft office program I brought that I didn't need and they wouldn't let me return it..they were saying it's non-refundable, but see here the thing if an associate is in this department the should be educated on the products...even when I asked the associate about Microsoft office she had no clue as to what I was talking about....I really wish someone from walmart could help me with this problem...as I'm trying this I been on hold for 45mins trying to get answers as to why I can't return something to get my refund!!! read more

This is, by far, one of the worst Wal-Marts I've ever been to in my life. When I was recounting my experience to friends, they said "Well, of course. What did you expect? It's Wal-Mart." - and I hope that that's not the principle this Wal-Mart is being run by. There are much, much better Wal-Marts out there, and unless you're getting groceries, I'd avoid this one like the plague. I was in a decent mood before I got there, but I was beyond-annoyed at Wal-Mart by the time I was done. Not the type of lasting impression you want to leave on customers. -When you first arrive, you'll be greeted by a lack of parking spaces since a good chunk of the parking spots are being taken up by forgotten carts. Cart corrals were overflowing and tons of abandoned carts everywhere. Where is the cartpusher who is supposed to be taking care of this? -While there were door greeters at the doors, three other employees accompanied them and were having a fun chat. So I was ignored when I walked in. While I'm never against employees enjoying their jobs, these same four were chatting when I left a half-an-hour later. That's just too long to ignore your job. -Once you start shopping, you'll notice a good chunk of the store sections seem to be out-of-stock. I came in for a few simple things: an audio cable, a car charger, and a flashlight. All of the audio cables were entirely out-of-stock. Just an entire area full of empty hangers. This seemed to be a reoccuring theme around the store as I noticed flip-flop bins entirely empty, photo areas down to bare bones, video game cases entirely empty, and more. While this may not have been the worst in the world, the fact that the things I *wanted* to buy were out-of-stock in every available size, length, and color was frustrating. It seems like a department manager isn't doing their job. -As if that wasn't enough, a lot of the departments haven't been "zoned" (cleaned up and organized) in awhile. While it's slightly frustrating in some of the aisles, other aisles have gotten bad enough that it's *entirely* impossible to even begin to tell what the prices of items are supposed to be. In the Flashlight section, not a single flashlight was standing up like they were designed. Instead, they were all scattered on the floor and sideways along the shelves making the shelf tagging entirely useless. I have never seen shelves this terrible except during Black Friday. -Unfortunately, this store must have had issues with theft because a lot of basic items are behind lock-and-key - like cell phone cases. While this isn't the end of the world, it becomes a whole new frustrating process when there are no employees nearby - and this was back in electronics! I asked the lady at the counter if she could unlock one of the electronics-area cases for me, and she just simply said "no" and went back to doing something under the desk. -Check-out was a whole another adventure. I waited over 20 minutes to check-out because there were only four open registers. They have a self check-out area, but it looks like 3 out of the (maybe 7) 8 machines are broken. Lines were backed up past the walking aisle all the way back into the clothing sections of the store. That's also unacceptable. -The grocery section was slightly less terrible than the rest of the store. If you're only here to grab and go with a few food items, you may not hate it as much. I have to admit that I'm slightly confused by this location. Almost all of these issues are employee-fixable issues. The storefront clearly has had money put into it for a new renovation, and the interior of the store is still relatively new. With enough employees (or dedicated employees), almost all of these issues wouldn't be issues. Stock is managed by department managers, zoning is supposed to be done by associates, specific employees ensure the parking lot is devoid of errant carts, and all employees should be well-trained enough in customer service to fix the locked items issues. Everything to fix this Wal-mart's problems is well-within this own Wal-mart's hands - so I'm mostly confused why all of this is happening in the first place. read more

Well I called day before and told they open at 7am for oil changes. Get here at 650 and was told we only take appointments. What I called yesterday and nothing on website. And while waiting an employee was given a ticket and told he was first for the oil change. Really. Was told I could go to central square walmart they take walk ins. The worst shopping experience. Boxes of product, on pallets, all over the aisles - blocking walkways. Clusters of employees not working, or if they are not at even 50%. This is the worst Walmart that I have visited. Today I tried to return a battery," purchased from Walmart which had a 5 year warranty," and the cashier Yolanda in customer service demonstrate lazy behavior, didn't want to help as she stated the battery wasn't under warranty plus she had her cell phone next to the cash register while viewing Facebook . Yolanda informed me to contract the battery company," which I did". I spoke with a representative who confirmed that the battery was under warranty. The manager never made an attempt to resolve the problem who spoke with Yolanda from far away. I was advised by the battery representative to go take the battery to another Walmart, so I went another Walmart and the manager exchanged the battery with no problem. read more

This is not my local Walmart, but had to come here for an online order pick up. I have two Walmart's closer to home and people wear their masks correctly. At least half of the people here are roaming around with their masks below their noses or on their chins and nobody tells them anything, even more baffling I have seen many workers with their masks below their nose. Okay maybe because it's new but I am liking this Walmart. It opens up at 6 on Sundays so I am quite pleased that the undesirables are not in yet. It just opened this month so it's really well stocked and organized also I am hoping it stays this way. Located in the old Hawthorne Works (Cicero) race track, it is a great location and right next to the Hawthorne Works horse track which I am not sure is still up and going. I am definitely returning to this location since they do have items that the suburb's usually only carry. Definitely worth a stop if you are near the neighborhood of Cicero and I think you will see that the workers here are very kind. I also like the fact that parking (big deal right) is really ample and the store is impressive in size. read more

Today I was disappointed at the Walmart who service many communities. People who were trying to get to work and came early to get out ended up waiting over and hour since 6am opening to Pay with their hard earn money. There were only two registers open and the line was from the front and curved into the vegetable lanes. Is this being a equatable community partner when it comes to customer service. No manager came to assist the people or inform. No manager came forth to address the issue. Poor planning and service for communities of hard working families who come to you as a partner to provide food, clothes and services ...and to tell the customers informally that people called off so you have to wait an hour and you only been open an hour. I made an online purchase that was cancelled for reasons that I do not understand. I just received an email from the risk department requesting that I now send front and back copies of the cards and receipts. Walmart, below is my response to your request. I am really just looking to have my 500+ dollar refund. Please advise why I am being asked to submit it again? I am livid about this situation, to say the least. Am I being accused of fraud?  When I made the purchase, I logged into my Walmart account. Everyone that uses gift cards are not crooks. I won these cards for my hardwork with my employer. As a matter of fact, we had the option of Walmart, Target, or Best Buy. We are here during the holiday season and there is only one person at the return line. Are you serious? This is a joke of a store. Although, what can you expect from a Walmart. Trash of retail. Horrible associates that are incompetent. Additionally, there are over 16 carts of food waiting to be processed or restocked. Some contain raw meat in an unrefrigerated condition. Hopefully, such product will be discarded, but my confidence in this is not high. Came in for car oil, filter and air filter, I needed help with the air filter these workers have me walking half the store for some help. Someone is paged to the auto section fast but he was no help, all he said was "well if you picked out an air filter then that's it" I asked help to find 1520 but the I guess this random one I chose is fine then thanks. Didn't bother to help me search at all, he was there's for one minute to tell me the wrong filter is the right filter. Now I need help with oil it says I can place this oil for pick up online. I can't find it in its section but it's in stock, I ask 2 guys that were standing and talking, in the way of everyone coming by with their carts. Just so they can tell me "if it's not there it's not there, we dont have it".
