I always love Walmart because they have everything that I need and the staff are always helpful and the prices are amazing. There is a free parking lot and the layouts are similar in most of stores in different states. I love the supercenters because they have fruit and vegetables and so much more. They also have technology gadgets and charging cables.

Went to get some air freshers and found this?

At the end of the day Walmart is going to be Walmart. Also, I understand that it is the holiday season and it will be packed regardless, so this is a customer service review. Now I'm not asking to be greeted with a smile or what not but for the staff to at least be courteous while on shift would be helpful. The store is disorganized so it is hard to find things. With that being said, I was led astray a few times by the young people on staff and it was even a hassel to get their attention. Their in groups chatting and feel like you're bothering them for asking for help. I'm sorry, if you don't want me to ask for help take off the vest or go hide in the break room. It was honestly disheartening asking a floor employee for help. Along with that there were some positives. The young man checkin people put in cosmetics was very helpful not only to myself but everyone and my cashier was a delight. So tell the other employees to take notes from them. It wasn't all a Grinchnest of negativity. With some better training of floor staff I can see things improving

Fast friendly and spot on. I appreciate the honesty and help each time I have needed it. Once they spotted a bull in a tire as we were about to go on a long trip. I believe they saved us from a real problem. I used to go here often to this Walmart location because they used to be opened 24 hrs a day but i know they had changed the hours recently and so having to go here during the day can be quite the hassle due to the difficulty of finding parking since a lot of people seem to go to this location. Check out can get really bad and they don't seem to have as many staff on registers so self-check out is the best way around this! Prices are cheap! Stores are better as far as being neat and organized but could be better. Plenty of sanitizing stations but don't see them cleaning the carts anymore. Use my own sanitizer as I have always done before pandemic. The reason fir 4 star is because things do run out.

Very clean store and usually has a good selection of products, depending on the current state of COVID. But throughout the pandemic, they have restocked quickly which is greatly appreciated. Staff is so/so depending on who you talk to--just like any customer service employee. Not a big Walmart fan but this specific store has always been the preferred store to go to when I do have to go. The biggest draw for me? The employees. Hands down, everyone I have encountered are friendly, engaging and available.Have you noticed that at other Walmart stores the employees are few and far between? Not here. Staff is scheduled correctly and does not seem that management is trying to pinch penny's with labor cuts. Also, the cashiers are very friendly and speedy. This specific Walmart does customer service right.

Didn't really have what my kids needed. They needed uniform because they are back in school now. Walmart only had boot cut pants I guess that's not in now for 12 and 14 years olds I guess.

This is, by far, one of the worst Wal-Marts I've ever been to in my life. When I was recounting my experience to friends, they said "Well, of course. What did you expect? It's Wal-Mart." - and I hope that that's not the principle this Wal-Mart is being run by. There are much, much better Wal-Marts out there, and unless you're getting groceries, I'd avoid this one like the plague. I was in a decent mood before I got there, but I was beyond-annoyed at Wal-Mart by the time I was done. Not the type of lasting impression you want to leave on customers. -When you first arrive, you'll be greeted by a lack of parking spaces since a good chunk of the parking spots are being taken up by forgotten carts. Cart corrals were overflowing and tons of abandoned carts everywhere. Where is the cartpusher who is supposed to be taking care of this? -While there were door greeters at the doors, three other employees accompanied them and were having a fun chat. So I was ignored when I walked in. While I'm never against employees enjoying their jobs, these same four were chatting when I left a half-an-hour later. That's just too long to ignore your job. -Once you start shopping, you'll notice a good chunk of the store sections seem to be out-of-stock. I came in for a few simple things: an audio cable, a car charger, and a flashlight. All of the audio cables were entirely out-of-stock. Just an entire area full of empty hangers. This seemed to be a reoccuring theme around the store as I noticed flip-flop bins entirely empty, photo areas down to bare bones, video game cases entirely empty, and more. While this may not have been the worst in the world, the fact that the things I *wanted* to buy were out-of-stock in every available size, length, and color was frustrating. It seems like a department manager isn't doing their job. -As if that wasn't enough, a lot of the departments haven't been "zoned" (cleaned up and organized) in awhile. While it's slightly frustrating in some of the aisles, other aisles have gotten bad enough that it's *entirely* impossible to even begin to tell what the prices of items are supposed to be. In the Flashlight section, not a single flashlight was standing up like they were designed. Instead, they were all scattered on the floor and sideways along the shelves making the shelf tagging entirely useless. I have never seen shelves this terrible except during Black Friday. -Unfortunately, this store must have had issues with theft because a lot of basic items are behind lock-and-key - like cell phone cases. While this isn't the end of the world, it becomes a whole new frustrating process when there are no employees nearby - and this was back in electronics! I asked the lady at the counter if she could unlock one of the electronics-area cases for me, and she just simply said "no" and went back to doing something under the desk. -Check-out was a whole another adventure. I waited over 20 minutes to check-out because there were only four open registers. They have a self check-out area, but it looks like 3 out of the (maybe 7) 8 machines are broken. Lines were backed up past the walking aisle all the way back into the clothing sections of the store. That's also unacceptable. -The grocery section was slightly less terrible than the rest of the store. If you're only here to grab and go with a few food items, you may not hate it as much. I have to admit that I'm slightly confused by this location. Almost all of these issues are employee-fixable issues. The storefront clearly has had money put into it for a new renovation, and the interior of the store is still relatively new. With enough employees (or dedicated employees), almost all of these issues wouldn't be issues. Stock is managed by department managers, zoning is supposed to be done by associates, specific employees ensure the parking lot is devoid of errant carts, and all employees should be well-trained enough in customer service to fix the locked items issues. Everything to fix this Wal-mart's problems is well-within this own Wal-mart's hands - so I'm mostly confused why all of this is happening in the first place.

These new ones are more stylish than the last and more expensive, but available in a Jiffy, quick new York minute. They have various items for daily needs, and prices vary, I appreciate their inventory. As far as "customer service"? Well; yes the automated pharmacy system did says medication is ready and you get there and it's not: nor do the staff seem to even know what your talking about. Ok, well technology is not perfect and things happen. So I'll come back. Let me know when for sure it's ready: Is it inconvenient, yes, is it life or death , no. I wasn't just out of the hospital in pain or anything, and usually hospitals don't leave you in a bad medical position, most medicine is not a life or death refill in the next 24 hrs. So let's be reasonable people: I needed something out of a Locked shelf, and then they forgot I was waiting and I asked 3 times. Inconvenient, yes; life o death , nope. I'll just be patient and keep asking. People are only human and if the store is busy, what it often is, we need to o consider the "whole" and not just "self". I can be patient. They keep it clean about; stocked enough and people still go. So it works. This location does a much better job than some other not so far away, so I'm thankful. Large parking lot free for customers. In a busy shopping center; I liken The shopping center. Tony's, Pet Store, many others as well. If you want an indoor mall to escape summer heat and shop; North Riverside Mall is just West and there a Bus Stop out front also. They even have an updated nice Cinema.

Staff came immediately to the aisle with locked products to help unlock the shelf so I could buy…read moresome pain relieving lotion earlier today. That was nice. But, then I tried to print photos at the self-serve photo station, but couldn't upload my images off a flash drive. So I went home and uploaded them through the Snapfish website on my home computer, but the photos weren't ready when I returned to this same Walgreens at the specific pick-up time. I went 45 minutes after the estimated pick-up time but then I had to wait about 30 minutes more, in the store, while the clerk printed the order ahead of mine, then my order. I was nervous enough being in a shop for too long, keeping socially distant and wearing a mask, but to have wait so long was disappointing. I think the photo machine must have bee malfunctioning or something, but the clerk didn't give me updates. Just kept saying, "wait, stand there, it's coming" but it took ages to print a fairly small order. I won't use this Walgreens for Snapfish pick-ups in the future.

So I call and ask what time they open because perhaps I, Google, and the hours on their door are all wrong. A lady replies to me "in like..... 5 min maybe". ARE YOU GUESSING?! Do you not see what's wrong with this picture?! Then i finally get in after 10 min or so. I am purchasing one item so I go to check out and the cashier told me "you could've just went to 7 eleven down the street". Mind you I didn't even come in angry, I wasn't going to even mention it because I'd already contacted my people in corporate so we had nothing to discuss but since she started, I answered. My reply to her was "it's the principle of the matter. People need to be accountable". She then continues to share her POV that I did not ask for and say "the store manager is the only one here because someone else didn't come in for their shift and she called me to come into work at the last minute. She can't open a store by herself" If that is the case, I would implore the company to find a new store manager then.

I am always satisfied with my shopping experiences at this CVS Pharmacy location, which is why I…read moretend to visit it once a week. On top of it being conveniently located along a route I drive regularly, the location never lets me down with having the items I usually purchase from CVS. For me, I always visit either this CVS in Oak Park or the Walmart in Forest Park because both are on my route. Out of the two, I usually choose this location when I do not have the patience to deal with the congestion of customers at Walmart, whether it be at the checkout line or just entering the parking lot itself. I never have to deal with that when visiting this CVS, so it tends to be my priority when in need of anything to assist with sleep or boost nutritional drinks. And when checking out, I am always satisfied with the service provided by the team members; they are always informative of offers listed on the receipt that will allow me to save money during future visits. If this location could do anything to improve my shopping experiences, it would be adding plastic bags attached to the self-checkout machine. Why? Because it would lead to me using it more for a quicker experience rather than waiting in line for a clerk to check me out with my items at the register. Dear CVS! If you see this review, please add plastic bags to your self-checkout machine. In closing, if in the area I do recommend visiting this CVS Pharmacy, if you are in need of any items known to CVS.
