My sister and I took our momma shopping and this trip was a lot more difficult on our momma than other days. It was one of those days where you could see the hurting and the pain in her...physically and emotionally. But she was so determined to do it herself rather than have us do it for her. She finally wanted to "just go home and rest" because she could barely walk any longer. The store has changed their inventory around and the isles are different from her last visit so it was difficult finding certain items. Frustrated and tired we arrived at checkout with a man named Edward who was also tired yet his smile made US smile as well! He had all three of us feeling better before that long $400 receipt even printed out! He offered to get momma a drink, some place to sit down, and talked to her about his grandmother and homemade recipes that our mother was very familiar with and that took her mind off her pain and even had us all reminiscing and laughing! This man was the BEST cashier I've ever seen and a genuinely GREAT human being! We will always be grateful for having the chance to meet someone who truly cares about others and does his job well! This Walmart location is a horrible, the employees do not have a sense of urgency when waiting on customers, they will be talking and texting on their phones when ringing customers up, the employees who pull online pickup orders do not have any customer service experience; they pull expired products and place in your order, the store doesnt have a suffiecient amount of lines open for checking out. Where is the managment? Everything is locked in glass cases and when you push the button for service no one shows up to open the cases. I would rather pay the extra money and shop at target or Meijer and get great customer service versus poor customer. read more

Walmart is a last resort place to shop for me already. Anyway, I swung through to grab a few things while on a trip. As I went to self checkout I was stopped and told "this is only for Walmart+ members." That is ridiculous! If I wanted to go to Costco, I would. I forgot some items that I purchased there for about 2-3 hours. The customer service team was great in helping me get those items back.

I had to wait almost a hour for one item for online pickup. When I went in to talk to a manager she didn't seem to care one bit. There was no customer service support at all. They stated they are understaffed yet there's a whole lot of people standing around. read more

I bought a battery two days ago and they're saying that the battery is dead when I took it to AutoZone and they told me that the battery was full they stayed that I could not get my money back because of a dead battery so I called Walmart customer care service and they stated that they are lying. (I EVEN DO WALMART+ DELIVERIES FROM HERE NOT TO DEAL WITH THE STAFF IT'S SO BAD) So after looking around for the items I came in for without success, I ask the girl who is working in said area that I am trying to find things in. First, she sends me to find a PHANTOM COWORKER, so I walk around for FIVE MINUTES, looking for the other person while she KNOWS SHE'S THE ONLY ONE IN THE AREA! So I go to the customer NO service desk to ask for help AND WITHOUT THEM EVEN CHECKING I'M told by the TWO FEMALES AND THE MANAGER (JENNIFER) that the WHOLE SECTION OF PRODUCTS IS NOT IN STOCK AND I NEED TO GO TO ANOTHER STORE!!!!!!!!!! WTF! So, seeing that the app is TELLING ME THEY HAVE THE ITEMS IN STOCK, I ask the manager again. She ROLLS HER EYES, calls someone in that area, and then says that person is on lunch. LITERALLY 2 mins later, who rushes by clocks out and goes to lunch? The very same girl that wouldn't help me in the first place! So I said to the manager what the heck, that was the girl that sent me on the search for the other person SHE KNEW DIDN'T EXIST IN THE FIRST PLACE! she says, she said she was on lunch, to which I replied she was actively working when I walked up to her. The MANGER SHRUGGED HER SHOULDERS AND WALKED THE HELL AWAY! Throughly annoyed at the thought of driving to another store and WASTING GAS, I look around for another person who might be able to help me. So I walk around some more and find Ms. K Williams who comes to my rescue! She listened to me vent, and then she led me RIGHT TO THE ITEMS THAT HER USELESS COWORKERS SAID WAS NOT IN STOCK!!!!!!!!! There is not a lot of glamour or overindulgence when you go shopping at Walmart. All that can be said, that it has a descent selection of everything that is associated with Walmart : Food,Clothes,Sporting Good, Electronics, etc.. I did find a nice Baker's Rack here for $60 so that was pretty exciting!! There was a shortage of floor attendants to help guide you around the store. We sure could have used the help to locate what we wanted.... So we looked a little confused trying to find our items. : / Overall, an OK experience.. Walmart/K-mart and the link are my emergency stores. When I am too tired to make multiple store trips and I want something that won't break the bank, but won't rot or fall apart the first time i used it. read more

Awful service at this Walmart vision center. I arrived at 4:30pm, 10 minutes before they close, and Robert wouldn't help me. He gave me a terrible attitude and told me he was closing in 10 minutes and he couldn't help me. Who does that?!! He flat out profiled me and said people like me are always trying to start problems (I am a person of color). The store manager had nothing to say and told me to file a complaint with corporate. Yes, I know it's a sin. But at times, a necessary evil. Reasons why I HATE Walmart: 1. Mom and Pop greet you at the door. Yup, they just got minimum wage jobs at Walmart because they had to close up their own shop on Main Street. As it turns out nobody goes to Main Street anymore because they are trapped inside a Walmart. 2. If you are trying to find one specific thing, it is an unmitigated nightmare. A labyrinth unmatched by Daedalus. A warehouse on par with where the U.S. government put the Ark of the Covenant at the end of Raiders... 3. The people shopping here. They're looking at the ceiling. They don't know where they are going. They have no peripheral vision. They won't get out of your way. They are stupid and lazy and often obese, and they are meandering about as if this were some sort of joyous amusement park with interesting things to see. 4. How the f^(# is TWENTY items express!? "Oh, I just need these twenty things. I'll be real quick", says the fat forty year old to the young man with a single pack of batteries. What the what!? You don't understand how I want to leave here immediately! Ok, sorry. Had to vent. Reasons why I like THIS Walmart: 1. It is new. This means it's clean(ish), and it's LEED. 2. They've got lots of stuff. I totally found my Rasta Lion shirt, a giant Scooby Doo coloring book, and a tie-dye poster for my Four-Twenty party. Auto Center are liars, cheats, and thieves Went there for an oil change and tire, the Tech jammed the key in the ignition so hard it would not turn or come out. On duty Manager Paul initiated a claim with the insurance company. Had the car towed to a dealership who said the Walmart tech destroyed the ignition switch and had to be replaced at a cost of $600. I called the Walmart Insurance claims person repeatedly with no return call or e-mail. I left a voice mail for his supervisor who called me a couple days later and said Walmart did nothing wrong and has not liability then hung up on me. I am not finished with this but wanted to warn you against going there for anything. read more

Wal-Mart oh Wal-Mart! I have a love/hate relationship with this store. The prices are great but the service and experience is usually less than average! This particular Wal-Mart has over 30 check out lanes but there are never more than 5 open! I don't understand! Especially around the holidays when they know the store is crowded! It's frustrating. I love Walmart..but this store made me seriously rethink that! I came in looking for something in particular, which they did not have. Then I wanted to go to the ATM, which was broken. So I bought something then used my credit card but could not get cash back because it was broken too. The cashier said that a lady had snatched it off the base previously. We need something and were in the area, so we decided to stop in. The store had a strange smell. There were NO carts. Seriously, none. Somebody heard us asking the greeter and asked if we wanted theirs. The greeter said they were getting some, but when we left there were still none. The aisles were cluttered. Items were miss marked, or not marked at all. None of the price checking scanners I tried worked. When we went up to the electronics counter the person working there was on the store phone clearly having a personal conversation. We had to wait for quite a while for him to stop his phone call. At the very least he could have asked his call to hold while he helped us. Not a thing he said could possibly have been store business. Checkout was barely moving. There were plenty of lanes for them to open. Maybe they were all still out retrieving carts. read more

this walmart is so rude. my husband and son collect baseball cards and spend good money for what they want. however this walmart hides their inventory behind the busiest check out line and forces customers to have to ask employee to see what box they are looking for and they act so annoyed and almost never hand the correct item which causes them to have even more attitude which pushes me to want to go off and never shop there again , not to mention makes you feel rushed because the line of customers is now growing and becoming annoyed as well. customers are not allowed to even lean around to try to see what they want. we have purchased several boxes that are $25 -$75 and get home and realize not what we went to buy but felt like we were unwanted and annoying cashier which also almost always has no idea what baseball cards are what do they just grab anything to get u to leave and will even say that they can't spend anymore time because they have other customers . !!!! i'd like to see a few days go by that not one person goes there to shop! bottom line someone or several upper management need to find a different way to display these for customers to at least view what they are buying . i can shop for jewelery and view those items 100 times easier . there is no confusion what watch i would like to try on because they are not thrown on top of each other on a shelf for people to not be able to view. or then a customer is there for these baseball cards a manager should be responsible to come over and take the customer back to shop for the cards ,like they would shop for a shirt r any other item sold. and if thats too much for a manager to handle to sell the merchandise they were hired to sell at this store then heres a good idea .... dont freaking sell them ..... very annoyed customer! read more

I frequent this Wal-Mart but today was the last straw for me. My husband purchase a digital camera from this location and I had it for a month before it messed up. We took the camera back today but I failed to put the book back in with the camera (I didn't anticipate having to return my camera and I threw away the book). I had my receipt and the girl from electronics on duty 1/1/09 around 3:45 p.m. was so rude to me. She said, "I can't do a return unless you have the book and software". I said," even if I want to exchange the camera because the camera IS defective?" She wouldn't even listen to me, she treated me like a criminal. I didn't think to ask for a manager right then but instead we went home and got the software and then I called the manager of this Wal-Mart location. He was nice and said he didn't see any reason why I couldn't be helped since I had my receipt. I went back to the electronics to look to see if there were any other cameras that I might want and I didn't have any luck. The rude Wal-Mart associate was standing there and she didn't say a word or offer to help. Just stood there staring at me.... I guess she was mad because I was able to either get a refund or exchange it without the book. Bottom line, my experience here was horrible not to mention I left with a headache. I came to the Photo Center with slides to be transferred to dvd --I had the order form in hand (printed online). No one in photo center to help. Asked electronics associate --told, "We don't do slides." Went to Customer Service --associate called for manager; manager came but was not able to help; I asked for her boss --said she called for her manager. I waited. I asked again, and she told she had called three times. I never did see the manager. Was sent back to Photo Center where associate Ebony Hines helped me. She deserves credit for her courtesy and service. I was 60 minutes in the store just to get this one simple transaction. read more
