I went to this Walmart today and it's was not a good experience. We went to buy a blender and some snacks at around 9pm. We got there and the blenders were on the other side of the store with the hard ware. Once we got all the way back to the front, we got some snacks then we went to checkout. Here's the kicker they didn't even take Apple Pay. Then we went back out to the car and got the card they said they didn't take tap so in summary we spent 45 minutes just for them to not take tap or Apple Pay. College Park Walmart on Old national highway keep the store well stopped but the managers and employees there are dishonest they will try to frame you for stealing out their stores their greeters are rude to you and mock you as you come and go out the store Every now and then they follow me around the store pretending like I'm about to steal but I shopped there every week coming out with a buggy full of stuff paying for it with a long receipt Many times why the checkout line the cashiers will try to cheat you by scanning one item multiple times and you only have one item they're hoping you're not going to catch it and you're not adding up your stuff so they can take the money and put it in their own pockets later on. Most recently on Thursday are relative of mine did some shopping for me and had a similar experience where a female manager was at the checkout at the end of the day and she's Had rung up a heavy watermelon three times and there's only one watermelon there my relatives did not catch it until she left the store but went back later on and got the money back but the manager knew what she was doing though I had seen this kind of thing time and time again it's not a simple error they're trying to take from their customers. All in all the very accusation that they make toward me that I'm stealing every time I come in there makes no sense because you spend large volumes of money in there almost every week to where they recognize you the leadership knows what's going on cuz I file complaints about this previously but they don't care. read more

Brian in the meat dept is always on task and approachable. if you ever need assistance with something he is always willing to help, he is quiet and have a very calm demeanor. he is respectful and cordial. There are Morgan and Amy at the scan n go checkout lines. They are pleasant in their approach and have great customer service interactions. They always keep a good energy flow; and smiling. It's so disheartening to go into an establishment looking for understanding as well as good service! I went to auto shop at Walmart to get new tires and an oil change but I quickly turned around and left. The young man at the front counter was so lifeless he made me feel like I was bothering him by asking him questions at the job he clocked into. I was asking for what things meant on the screen he showed me and he treated me like I was a mechanic and should know these things. We're all experiencing life together you know & if customer service doesn't make you happy then do something else. Walmart order online and pick up experience is horrible. Attempted to take advantage of Walmart & American Express deal Spend $35 get $10 credit back on AE card. About 2pm I made sure items were available except Zerex Antifreeze. There was full box of Prestone Power Steering Fluid Plus Stop Leak. Put 1 in front of box to make sure it would not be missed and took a picture. I purchased some items instore placed order of $38.81 from inside Walmart. Order was schedule to be ready at 4:54 PM. I arrived at 6:10 PM. I had to wait 15 minute for someone to come and tell me my order was in the back. There were at least 5 clerks standing around in the self-checkout socializing. Too many people standing around doing nothing. They need a day and night Store Manager at the Old National Store. Associate, who was excellent in customer service, returned with 2 items: Pretzels and Meguiar Tire spray said he marked them as picked up. Order information said Motor Oil and Power Steering Fluid were unavailable. My pictures show box of Power Steering Fluid on shelf. It took the manager 30 minutes to come to assist after being called and page several times. She had me call Walmart Customer Service: 800 925 6278 who had no idea why items that are in the store were tagged unavailable. She kept saying they were canceled by the store. Not true! The Antifreeze is being shipped. Why aren't the Motor Oil and Power Steering Fluid being shipped or substituted also to keep my order in tack. When orders are placed it says: if unavailable, item will be replaced with another item of same or higher value at no additional cost. Since my $38.81 order was changed to $33.27, I no longer qualified for $10 credit on my American Express card. I have no idea what I'm being charged for. My American Express card has Walmart pending payments: $38.81 and $4.42. That is a complete SCAM! I finally left Walmart at 7:20 PM. Since this was an online order, the store associates or Customer Service Dept could not help me. I tried to rate and post feedback on Walmart page several times but it would not work. read more

If i have to go to a Wal-Mart within my area I would choose this one over East Point and Union City. It's not the best but it definitely is not the worst. Anytime that I have gone in this store, i was able to find what I needed and some things that I needed to leave in the store. For whatever reason I always seem to go to this store for holidays and special occasions. They always seem to have just what I'm looking for at the right time. I was looking for spiral sliced hams. Kroger wanted $30 for a ham. Go to this Wal-Mart and they had them for half that price and they had other food items that were out of stock at other stores. Stopped in for a few items while on a business trip. This location was pretty impressive as they offered all the standard services like auto, pharmacy, and barber shop, but this one had an in house urgent care. This was the first time that I have seen this level of service. Truly a one stop shop. I ran to get the necessities needed, everything was well stocked. So....after leaving the Walmart in Lithia Springs...a few days later, I'm at this location and decide, well...let me try and return this heater again. I go in...receipt in hand...still no manual, but I now at least have the box. Again...20 people at the return counter and one Wally worker, but she seems to be in a good mood, so I approach the counter smiling and feeling good. I explained what happened at the Lithia Springs store, and she says...baby...do u have your receipt.. I reply...Yes mam (kindness seems to get u far)...she says...well I'm not suppose to take it back, but I will since u had the receipt. They should have taken it back at the other store also, but each Walmart has its only policies. Huh....what do u mean a CORPORATION has different policies regarding its customers. I mean all the signs read the same in each store regarding returns, exchanges etc....so I dont get it....she says...I cant explain it, but if you ever pay attention, our prices arent the same from location to location, and the discretion on returns varies from store to store. Now I've heard it all. I mean....where do they do that?? Isnt it to the benefit of the company to have the same rule....regardless of what that rule is from store to store? And when you call the store a young man answer just to let you know that he;s the "operator" and will tranfer me to the the department that handles deliveries which (No one ever answer). Today 06/24/2022 I decided to try express, only to get charged more for "delay" and No answer. This store never have what you oder and when you do receive an order, items are always missing. So I'm new in the area I went to Walmart yesterday with my 4 kids and mom The lady was watching me like I was up to no good so I'm taking things out that my kids put into the basket and dealing with my baby that was crying so I asked her for help that I could swipe my card so she didn't really wanted to help me I told her I have an EBT card and she was like I never saw one like this and was giving me a hard time with my card so she was yelling at me saying nobody asked you to come to Walmart I know I don't look my age I told her to get a manger bc how she talking to me I'm wasn't ok with that your talk to me with respect then she told me nobody ask you to come to Walmart and I was like really get me your manger now . So the manger came and she said she will talk to her . Fast forward a hour later I realized I left my eggs so I called before I went back up there and they told Me as long as I have my receipt I can get my eggs so I came back I got some fries and a few more items and went to customer service I told him that I left my eggs he calls someone and he told that person I had more then $25 worth of items which I didn't I had $7.51 cent worth of items not $25 he didn't even look at my receipt or even scan the eggs and I asked him can he look at my receipt or scan the eggs to see if they match I had to get back to my sick baby that was in the car and he told me with hostile in his voice you gonna have to wait or come back if you don't like it so today today I open up the meat I bought and eggs they were broken and spoiled I just want someone to fix how they treat they paying customers now I'm out of $30 worth of meant and eggs read more

My first time shopping at a Walmart did not disappoint. I officially feel like a true American. I spent $70 on a raincoat, snow boots, socks, 12 fried chicken wings, and slippers. I took my son here to get glasses in October and they forgot to put in the order, but didn't bother to call and let us know there would be a delay. We waited 6 weeks and still no glasses, we called again and they promised that they would put a rush on the order because there was a mix up in their system and the the glasses would be ready in 2 additional weeks. 2 weeks pass and no phone call, so we call again to find out what is going on. Each time I've called since then, I've been told the doctor isn't in and to call back on other days. Today I was put on hold, then hung up on and finally again told to call back on another day. This is the final straw! I am going to take matters into my own hands. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are very unprofessional and don't care about their customers. After weeks of trying to obtain a time for pick up or delivery, I was finally able to place a order for delivery on 4/6/20. The scheduled date was three days out 4/9/10. On this day I received another delivery of tissue from Walmart without a problem. However, I notice my allotted time had come and gone. I waited over an hour before calling to ask questions. I was told my order had arrived and they didn't receive an answer. Not only did my driver instructions note to "knock loud", I was front door all morning and afternoon, after receiving my tissue. I am a single mother, I'm pregnant, and have underlying health issues, which makes me more likely to catch the coronavirus. I had anticipated receiving groceries for days. I explained my situation to one representative on the phone for about 45 minutes and was hung up on and not called back. I called back and spoke to another rep who stated the store would just refund my order. Nothing was fine to rectify the situation. I was even told they arrived a few minutes before my scheduled arrival. No accountability was taken by Walmart in this situation. I was left without food for another night. This was the windy experience ever not being able to feed my child on behalf of an apparent lazy employee. There was never even an apology offered. If my calls are pulled, the distress in my voice can be heard. While I didn't request a manger, due to being at witts end, my call should've been transferred to supervisor. read more

I never received an email indicating it was ready so I checked on the store website and it said it would be available the next day at 9:00 a.m. If the product is in store and the website says it's available for pick up today, I expect it to be ready today. read more

These type of stores don't usually get good reviews from people, but today just a small experience brought me here to write a review. My mother decided to make a pie and she needed an 8 inch deep pie crust, so I went to this location to purchase the pie crust and they only had the 9 inch deep dish. I asked a worker passing by for help, she said she was a cashier, so she went and found another person to help me, a little lady came out the back, she came out and we searched together. She later went back to the back of the store, 5 minutes later, this woman came out carrying a huge box of pie crust 8 inches deep. Thank you to her and her co-worker for the help. Went to this Walmart because I had a gift card and this was the closest one to me. Wow! Close isn't always good. Customer service sucks ass. I asked this lady in the juniors department if they carried something and couldn't believe she answered me with her back turned the whole time. As I'm in the self checkout lane, the cashier had to come over because I had wine and didn't say hello or anything but started to say I messed up all of...then she saw I brought my own bag. Then after she walked off, she saw I had another bag in my cart and started to ask me about something when I showed her my receipt then she walked off. No awards will be given to anyone for customer service employee of the month that's for sure. The best part about this place is it's got to be the cheapest Walmart EVER!! First of all the customer service was terrible and to top things off, after speding almost 2 hours shopping we left our cart for 5 minutes to grab an item from the sporting good section. I waited by the deli counter for about 10-12 mins while two young men goofed around to then tell me their closed. Thought I'd purchased Goodyear Tires for my Corolla (Sat 8/12/17) only to discover Monday morning, while pumping gas, I received Dextrol tires instead. WTF?!! Made several attempts that morning to call, but the line just rung & rung.......the customer service desk couldn't get anyone to pick up. It is so unfortunate to truly see the separation of Wal-Marts from one side of town to another. I live in gwinnett, I have a house in college park as well. So I frequent The Wal-Mart in both locations and the difference in staggering. I Know and have witnessed the difference in customer reaction. "Old Nasty" (Old National Hwy that is) tend to have a rougher crowd I will admit. Which poses a helluva challenge to the staff. But the customer service tends to also be very lacking with enthusiasm, Consistently longer lines and less lines open. I don't Know... maybe their trying to save on labor, but the customers suffer in the end. Prices vary from store to store but I do notice that items that sell far more frequently on the south side tend to be a bit higher in price. Not quite sure why that is. Now my review doesn't reflect the entire staff on "Old Nasty". I have had some very good and even excellent service from this location, but the bad greatly exceeds the good. Funny thing is. Last Summer, The Kroger next door to the Wal-Mart on "Old Nasty" had those same if not worse issues. And within 2 weeks of my last visit there, the whole culture of that place changed dramatically. Yes they get the same customers, and the same headaches, But there was an entirely different Management crew and staff. The managers are extremely visible on the floor constantly walking their beat. That staff I can't say enough about. I make a point to let the managers know how good it feels to be respected for spending my hard earned money in their store. They respect their guest with cleanliness, fair pricing, prompt and friendly customer service (with a smile), and their consistency to keep it up daily. So I don't visit Wal-Mart much on the South side anymore. Maybe they'll surprise me one day. Till then... My $ will spend elsewhere. read more

I was there for every time whenever I need a oil change even though I purchased my 4 brand new tires from them including road hazard. Ramon the worker asked the Jason told him to say that they don't have the plugs for flat tires why I was therefore and I must buy a new tire if I want them to fix my problem. I told them ok then change the tire, and I added up I purchased all tires from you and I also purchased the road hazard insurance . After that I went inside to get registered my car but the clerk there who's name was dymond without checking anything she told me that they can't help me and I should come next morning and she was pretending like an apprentice and without an manager assistance she can't help me at all, meanwhile I asked the manager who involved the process, you do sell the plugs for tires if I buy it could they fix my tire she said yes. I purchased the plugs and asked to get fix my car. Unfortunately nothing has happened because mr Ramon was claiming that's against their company policy!!! And shakila assistant manager involved in progress and dymond first talk with her, after her speech with her ,she came to talk to me she asked to me how am I ,and I responded her very well thank you how about herself, I explained her that I need to fix my tire I bought all my tires from there and I have the road hazard insurance, first they told me that the only way that night fixing of my tires problem was buying a new tire after they heard that I have road hazard and bought my tires from them the dymond refused to check my Hazard insurance and asked me to get my receipt ready for me to be able to claim my insurances and I gently asked her to check my telephone number which was connected with finally by the help of Jason they found out my bills and realized that I do have insurance, and shakila asked them to help to me but nothing was processing till to 7.00 pm I was there already since 5.30 pm and Mrs shakila should come and give permission to this process. Meanwhile I asked them if you are not going to do it let me know why I'm still waiting here for this process do you want to exceed the working hours and not to do anything . If it's so let me know. The answer was yes by Dymond and after I heard that if something happens to me with this flat tire I am going to sue everyone in here!!! That words I think triggered them and finally Shakila came and I don't know who he was try to fix something by the computer and finished the problem by asking me to pay 43 usd for the new tire by claiming over used one month old tire only driven 8000 miles and this tire was for 60000 miles, I am not cheap,but their claim was ridiculous but it was done and I should pay for new tire and road hazard insurance again for that tire as well... When I asked them to give my old used tire they gave me another tire which doesn't equal usage with my other left driver side tire depth has when I bought them the same time when I asked them to Check the depth of the other tire they shot the door to my face... Terrible, terrible customer service and lack of training at this location. I often let it go, but this time I need to write a review. The location is the closest and most convenient for me; HOWEVER, since the price of gas is down I will use the Walmart in Union City, Fayetteville or Riverdale before I go here again. The cashiers act like they are doing you a favor by scanning your groceries -- way too much attitude. They forget if it wasn't for the customers they would have no job!. There was a cranky, older senior citizen cashier who got flippant because I wanted to use an e-gift card and she wasn't trained on how to process it. She ended up having to call a supervisor over, who told her that all the items in my cart would have to be scanned again. She somehow thought it was the fact that I used an e-gift card that screwed things up -- not -- lack of training. There was a long line behind me. I walked off and left the items -- drove to Union City Walmart where I received excellent service and the cashier knew how to process the gift card. Again, avoid this location! So I had to shop having to use the rest room so I was in a slight hurry, well the cashier kierica was not at all polite. No customer service at all. No hello or goodbye. I will never enter that store again. I will drive all the way to Union City superstore instead of RIGHT DOWN THE STREET. Not the worse wal mart but certainly not the best. This location isn't too far from my house. It's usually clean and organized. More often than not I can see employees "straightening things" around the store (folding clothes, stocking, clearing out carts) The staff aren't friendly at all though. Don't ask for help, you're better off just wandering out looking for whatever you need on your own. Sucks if you were hoping to run in and run out. Even the cashiers aren't friendly, customer service is the only thing keeping this place from having 5 stars, but I really appreciate the organization and overall cleanliness of this store! The crowd is sometimes sketchy but with it being right off Old National I'm not really surprised or bothered, I know where I'm at! All in all this is my second go to wal mart.
