The oil change price is low BUT you will have to pay in Time. Wait time will range between 2 to 4 hours for a light weekend. Watch them do an oil change for a red suv... so far its taking one and half hour and counting... don't ask how... I came and I was the next car behind the suv... 95minutes later, it still the same suv... still sitting there. There is only one lane for the oil change. The other two other lanes are for tires. Checked in 244pm... 421pm they start to pull up my car. About five to six staff and my car was the two cars from the front. Luckily there's a Wal-Mart to go through. Happy to pay the low price, hated the long wait. Just be prepared to spend... time. read more

My shopping experience today was very stressful and unpleasant. Firstly, almost everything is under lock and key. The makeup section has everything locked up and only ONE employee to assist customers in getting what they need. If you're going to go so far as to lock everything up, you better at least have enough employees to assist customers. The section was crowded with unassisted customers. Secondly, employees have a new policy at checkout to scan only one of your items in the self-check. This is totally unhelpful and slows down your whole checking out process. Either scan all of our items to help us or please just mind your business and let us do it ourselves. read more

Paid, then she just stood there. I asked if Walmart now requires customers to bag their own groceries. She said nastily, "If you want to". What??? That was it. She made no move to bag my purchases. I may have my grumbles with this Walmart but I love Walmart and I must say this one has some of the best employees in any business I've ever been in. It's July 4th and I'm in the parking lot because it has the best view in town of the fireworks. But they freak out dogs and there was one running around out here and several employees gathered a posse to capture it, me included. Whatever you do don't ask managers to look up an item if it's in stock for collectibles. I approached a manager politely and when I asked he literally laughed at me and said no. He said a small remark about it might be out already blah blah. Well I said it was not and walked away. So I decided to ask another worker in self check out and she had no problem checking for me!! Scanned the barcode I had provided and everything and was able to say if it was in stock or not. I literally went up to the other manager that he was with and told him "another worker was able to help me no problem, I don't understand why he couldn't help me and laughed at me. This auto center at the Walmart was great. Super helpful staff from phone call when I wasn't sure what I was doing, to being greeted by the people running the auto place. I felt comfortable and well taken care of with the basics of things that needed to be done. I drove away from the experience really happy. Job done in a timely manner and the price was reasonable. You even get to choose the parts and different choices for oil grade. And the store itself has all the parts you can pick from. And then you have an additional fee for them to install. Great job. I went to Walmart today to buy last minute gift. Majority of Lego sets are locked up and once you get it the worker takes it to the cashier by garden dept. Juanita was having so much trouble at the cash register she kept leaving to get Yvette numerous times. Unfortunately, I couldn't leave since the Lego set was behind register. Walmart needs to teach these workers better customer service training. Yvette should've stayed there until Juanita got the system issue resolved. When I made that suggestion Yvette was rude and said I could go to the other lines. She never answered my question about staying with Juanita until issue resolved but kept telling me to go to another line as she walked away. I told her I wish I could but Lego set is behind Juanita. She suggested she would take to another cash register and I suggested why not stay work Juanita until issue resolved but ignored me. obviously Yvette needs better training on how to assist her peers. read more

The night shift starts at 10 and they are the employees who load shelves. No matter where you go in the country, I have found that is to be true. Why is it important? Well, they know where everything is... EVERYTHING! If you are in produce an you ask about sporting goods... the best employees will tell you to go there and ask Brandon for help, he's on tonight and he is the best guy for answering your questions (this guy is the guy you want to talk to in this department. He is on his best game). Rule 2: Avoid soccer mom peak hours and shopping at dinner time. The latter can be especially true on the weekends. Rule 3: Use the electronics checkout line if you have to break rule #2. These have been tried an tested throughout my home state of Florida... and all the ones en route to Corona. read more

They are not excepting returns nor are signs posted in Clothing section on the racks saying no returns . Stupid I will never go back . Will stick With other stores that do take returns on clothing . One of the best Walmart stores I've been to. I live in Riverside but used to live in Corona. Compared to the stores in Riverside and elsewhere, the store in South Corona is the best. In Riverside, the staff can't help me and doesn't want to. If I stop an associate, they look inconvenienced. They can't answer my questions (basic ones like where's this or that?). They're busy flirting, complaining about the job, or talking to each other about their schedules or something. This applies to other supermarkets too. In Corona, the associates are more approachable, friendlier and more knowledgeable. They can answer questions. The store is cleaner and more orderly. read more

When you come here for an oil change, be sure to check your own oil level before coming in. On prior occasions, I've checked my level (and photographed it), and it was right in the middle of the range where the manufacturer says it should be. They wrote up on the ticket that it was more than a quart low coming in, and that they wouldn't be liable for engine damage as a result. I called the manager over and showed him my photo, and he tried to tell me that despite what the manufacturer says (that this is the perfect level), they consider anything below the top fill mark (where anything over is considered overfilled) to be low oil level. On this occasion, they did two new things -- when they performed the battery check, they marked the service report "REPLACE BATTERY". This battery is literally a week old, and only has 6 miles on it. How can it need replacement? I think their equipment is faulty, or they don't know how to use it. Either way, don't trust their recommendations -- they're obviously biased toward selling you things you don't need. The second thing they did today, was forge my signature in the disclaimer section at the bottom of the service order. THAT'S FRAUD! I won't be back to this dishonest location. read more

Women and men of the beauty community: please be aware that this location closes the ENTIRE cosmetic section every night at 10 PM; an hour before the store closes! I wanted to take a second and post this review because it's important for my people to know since not only does this store not have the courtesy inform its customers but it is the ONLY store I've ever been to with this weird ass ridiculous rule. I recently lost a loved one and was experiencing extreme grief. Although last minute, the night before the funeral I looked in the mirror and realized I was in desperate need of any and all waterproof make-up I can get my hands on. It was 10:05pm and most stores close at 10 PM. After confirming that luckily Walmart closes at 11 PM, I made my 5 minute drive over to the store. Rushing through the door at no later than 10:12 PM having 48 minutes until official closing I rushed over to the makeup section. It was then that I felt my already exhausted and depressed heart sink to the floor. For some God awful reason the ENTIRE cosmetic section was roped off preventing customers from entering. In a panic I found the nearest associate who rudely informed me with a nasty tone in her voice that the make up section closes EVERY NIGHT at 10 PM. In complete desperation I pulled up the online list showing all departments and their closure times- the cosmetic section was not included. I showed the associate and literally begged her, asking for 5 minutes of entry so I could 'at least get some waterproof mascara and eyeliner for tomorrow morning's funeral in which I have a front row seat' and she very coldly shrugged and told me to go to Walgreens or CVS. read more

This rating is for the tire/line center rather than the store itself. I have taken my car here TWICE now for an oil change to get the exact same response as the first time: we cannot change your oil because your oil filter cap or whatever is on too tight. This is bullsh*t considering not only is this the SECOND time for them to say this, but the last time I got an oil change I took it to longo Toyota dealership which means professionals worked on it and are less likely to put things on to where it can cause problems for my car. This Walmart store continually sells expired goods that are simply not marketable. Specifically, this store continually sells out-of-date milk and bread. These are basic staples that affect all shoppers. Though this has been brought to the attention of store management the problem continues unabated. Mya, in the electronics department was tremendously helpful. She assisted me in getting a pay as you go phone which I had never done before and was not sure how it all worked. She took the time to explain all my options and was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Customer service is a dying trait among some younger worker, but Mya is the exception. She was a delight to talk to and she made it easy to be a customer and made my entire purchase easy all the while she was giving me great information on my purchase. read more

This is the nicest WalMart in the area. It's cleaner than the ones in Fontana and Corona, which isn't saying much. Plus it's located in a nicer area. I came here to cash a Moneygram and the lady argued with me about how they don't cash Moneygrams at WalMart. Are you kidding me???? I told her that they do because the sign says so and I also have cashed Moneygrams at Walmart before. She went to talk to her manager who also said that WalMart doesn't cash Moneygrams. I took my Moneygram to the Walmart in Tustin and had it cashed with no problems. So the staff here is obviously not that bright and don't know what their own company does. No one really likes WalMart, but they get all of us with the prices so we keep coming back. read more

Walmart store in corona is so unprofessional ran, they have no radios, no walkie-talkies, no way to communicate with one ! If there was an emergency and they don't carry their own personal cell phone with them they couldn't call 911 for HELP! They can't even reach the manager of the store. They tell you, you need to go looking for the Manger to call for back up. Walmart only had three checkers working and there's lines and lines of people with their shopping carts full waiting to get help. Self check was a joke also. I stop three people within the store, can you reach the manager. Answers was (NO). One could barely speak English, tried to help, other two pointed to service desk. Found a manager, how do people get any help when no one can reach out to one another? He had no answer, told him they need more checkers, the lines are all backed up, stated he didn't know. Of course you don't know, how would you? Never did he send anyone to help the Customers. I also told him no way to reach 911, it's not safe. Shrugged his shoulders.... I also stated they are discriminating against white people, not one white person working their. He look around at his employees looked back at me, stated the girl next to him is white, I said No she's not. Employee agree with me and said , no I'm not, I'm Hispanic! I truly love Walmarts... I know Im in the minority. But I do. I was excited to check out a new Walmart I hadnt been to... I shop for Twin size 3 piece sheet sets for Camp Pendleton for marines coming home from deployment, and I have wiped out, multiple times, my local walmarts. SCORE! I found quite a few of the cream colored $4.97 sets! And a few of the fleece blankets that I also cant find anywhere near me. I was able to pick up a few of the $8.97 white sheet sets as well. SUCCESS! They had more stock than my local walmarts so I may have to make another trip up here in a month or so when they are restocked. This walmart is clean, nicely organized and they have a lot of nice items. Staff was friendly and helpful when I asked where a few items were. They have a lot of Anaheim Angels items!
