This place could have a long line or short line and you'll still end up waiting 20 mins or more to check out. They love having only one cashier at a time and if there's two, one is pretty much useless..busy helping price check some ugly little white bag. Then the lady with the Memorial Day light up head band sees the line growing and is busy doing who knows what. Then there's other ladies behind the cashier just chit chatting watching the line grow.. then once it starts to wrap around they decide to get more people to the cashier. Oh and let's not forget the lady who almost walked into me just to grab two shopping carts and then stop in my way while I'm clearly carrying stuff to the check out line. This store seems to only hire ding dongs. No common sense or sense of urgency. So if you like everything I described then this place is definitely the store for you to shop in ! read more

This location is always busy! Sometimes, the line can run super long and trail all the way back to the clothing racks. Parking in this plaza can also be difficult. It's especially busy during the holiday season with everyone rushing out to buy holiday gifts. Be prepared to wait in line for your purchase. The deals are great, though! read more

Came by Saturday evening after a good meal with no real intention of buying anything other than to browse and walk around. The store is very clean and fully stocked. Because it was later on in the day it wasn't jammed packed with people, and we were able to browse around without an issue. I imagine its real busy earlier on in the day since the plaza its located in is always poppin' earlier on. I had no issues with my visit and will likely be back since I love walking around TJ Maxx and stores alike, mostly after a meal lol. read more

One of my favorite places to shop. Early mornings are better since it's not as crowded. I love to buy designer purses here. I also love to shop for my daughter's clothes here. She is 4, but wears a 6-7. They have great pants, shirts, jackets, and dresses for usually under $15. I also love the picture frames, kitchen items, and bedding. I found a really warm gray and white Ugg cal king comforter for under $100 and we have been using it for about 5 years and it's in great shape and keeps us warm. It is super soft too! Anyway, I love the variety, the prices, and usually the stores are pretty clean. My fave place to shop! read more

My home was built before this TJMaxx existed, but as soon as this store opened, I became a frequent shopper. I remember looking forward to its opening. For the most part my experience with this store is good. They have a wide selection of every item they carry. The only things they should change are the very very long lines to get to a cashier (while there are two or three people standing around close to the closed registers just chatting) and the bathrooms need better monitoring. I've seen it a few times looking like a disaster area. Customer service is not bad. One time I nicely asked a cashier to please wrap the olive oil bottles I purchased with paper to give it a little cushion before bagging them, and it seemed to flip a switch. She immediately developed a negative attitude towards me. I still thanked her and she did not reply. This morning, I was at the store to purchase something, and I watched a cashier (Mariza?) being very pleasant to a customer who looked really morose, and who grabbed her receipt abruptly and left in a huff as the cashier said, "Have a nice day". We all need to be kind to each other. TJMaxx is only three blocks from my home so I find it a very convenient place to shop from. I try to shop on weekdays and early morning when there are less customers. I am also vigilant since that group of thugs went and robbed the store in broad daylight. Recently moved to Corona from Orange County and needed to make a trip to TJ Maxx but my favorite store location can be quite the drive now so I decided to skip traffic and try a new location closer to my new neighborhood. The store was clean and had a good selection of stuff I noticed it was starting to get really busy so I got in line it was pretty long maybe a 15-20 minute wait. Once we finally get to the register the girl looked at me for a minute and said "Has anyone ever told you that you look like that one famous TikTok girl" and already I was dreading hearing whoever it was in fear of being sad about a comparison I might not like to hear.. I can be my own worst enemy when it comes to self love you never no what someone is going through mentally and emotionally. She couldn't think of the name but she says " She does makeup and talks with a loud jersey or Boston accent and then kind of smiles at me." And of course I knew exactly who she was referring too. This girl already gets a lot of hate online for her body weight and heavy use of makeup along with a few things people dislike about her appearance and her "fake" or "exaggerated" accent Anyways it sucked and I felt really down. I don't think it's appropriate for staff to talk to customers about appearance or unwanted comparisons of who they think they look like. My girlfriend paid and I stayed silent while she smiled at me in a kind of oops hahah way. When I looked bothered. I won't be returning to this location please provide extra customer service training to staff. read more

I came in to return a shirt that I did not realize had a hole when I purchased it. Alfonso made the return process so easy and efficient. After the return I walked around the store for another purchase and once again met with Alfonso at the register! Not the best TJ Maxx I've been to but their selection of things are ok. In the make up aisle or shampoo section, usually the products are opened & damaged. The clearance aisle is small, mainly damaged packaged food that shouldn't be there to sell. But overall this place is decent. You could find good, quality deals if you really look around this small shop. I like to come here for the candles, they have a quite a large selection of candles for less than $12. read more

I'm a very frequent TJ max shopper usually I visit McKinley location in Corona. I decide to change it up a few nights ago and was extremely disappointed with customer service. I'm sure I got helped by management and she was unwilling to help, rude and not pleasant at all. This was super upsetting if your in the service industry you must fake it to make it if needed. Your job is to serve in good manner! Although this store has more to offer at times I won't return. Corona staff is great and I have never been upset with service! read more

I have had very good and very bad experiences here. Honestly to save yourself the frustration don't ask the associates my first time requesting assistance here was bad; ie: the jewelry dept. my encounter with the person there on 03/14/2023 around 7:30 pm was sad. She went out of her way to let me know she did not want to help me. She kept bouncing her legs in an impatient manner and then got on her cellphone while I was asking her a question, to say to someone she needed a lunch break! This pissed me off because I have spent a lot here. Sad I was gonna spend the extra money for the watch. I just left went to Kohl's a few stores over and got better treatment! Perhaps they are short staffed or under paid... just go there and don't ask questions is what I learned. read more

To be fair I'll give a 3. The clothing selection is not my style. It's bland in style but the price is right if you need inexpensive. I buy the off items like a jump rope, spices, and cologne. Much better price than other stores. The need more cashiers to handle the volume. read more

The lines are always atrocious but the staff is very friendly for the most part. They are a lot cleaner than they used to be pre-Rona and they do a good job at sanitizing their carts. Returns and exchanges are easy but you still have to wait in the lengthy line so I usually will get my shopping out of the way first so I don't have to stand in line twice. read more

I would not give this place even 1 star after the way the cashier and manager treated me during my exchange. I have been coming to this location for over 10+ years and I've never been treated like a criminal when I ask to exchange a couple items I bought at the TJ Maxx I. Tustin, CA. The cashier clearly saw that the items I brought back were unworn and still had the original tags attached. But unfortunately, I forgot my receipt, but I told the cashier I could pull up my credit card statement to prove the date and location in which it was purchased. She proceeded to talk to the manager, but the manager never bothered to converse with me about the situation. She just simply dismissed my request and told the cashier to tell me to go back to the other location (Tustin, CA) over an hour away. The cashier bunched up my items and started to hand them over to me and said to take them back to Tustin. This was truly upsetting and disappointing to be dismissed without proper communication. So I asked the cashier to call the manager back. I stated I was not going to go back to Tustin when all I was asking for was a simple exchange and I didn't mind getting store credit. She rolled her eyes and said fine. They took the ID, but then the cashier proceeded to tell me that in the future they were going to not accept any returns from me, if it didn't have a receipt. Which meant they were going to flag my ID in the system as if I was the criminal. Look, if I wanted to steal items, I would not pay for them in the first place nor would I be asking for an exchange. It's not my fault this location was robbed last week and they did nothing to stop those true criminals. Now, they are treating everyone who is a paying customer like a thief. Shame on you cashier with the green hair and brunette manager with the black and white top. I will make sure the corporate office knows what lousy job you're doing to keep your current customers happy. read more

I want to take the time to thank the team from Tj max I informed them about a girl that was asking me to many personal questions and kept following me in the store. I told Joshua and the other guy in the register ( wishes I remembered his name ) about how uncomfortable this girl made me feel they offer to walk me to my car till I drove away. This location is super easy to get to, right off the Highway. Plenty of parking and never full. No runway section, but everything is very organized so that you can sift through to find the goodies quickly. Staff is nice, all is good here, not much else to do in the area, so this is only a stop if I am actually near by. read more

I am a huge fan of TJ Maxx but I definitely have a love hate relationship with this location. I love that it is close by to home. The staff are always friendly and I love scoring awesome deals. BUT...I really do hate the MESS!! I guess I can't really blame the staff since when I do stop by on weekday mornings the place is nice and clean and by the afternoon/evening it is a total mess. The cosmetic/soap section...forget it. I love the selection but I hate how everything is mostly tested by people. I've learned my lesson and only come on weekday mornings. read more

I sometimes drive all the way from LA county to visit this wonderful store. I've never personally met any of the managers but every time I go, I am always helped by Luis (he deserves a raise!). Their customer service is trash- specifically with cashier I believe was named Makayla. We simply asked if she look up a dress at another store and told us that it would take a couple minutes and stated it with some attitude, implying that she didn't want to make the effort to call. Today I went into the store to return a Christmas gift with the receipt in hand but I lost the tag, I waited 10 mins in line when I get to register the lady who helped us was rude from beginning she made no eye contact and was demanding the receipt which I had on my phone, then she proceeded to tell me she couldn't accept that because she couldn't touch my phone. I continued to tell her that is my receipt and that's how I always return my items she continued to tell me that she couldn't do anything without the actual receipt I continued to tell her if she could just scan the bar code or type in the numbers she refused and didn't even want to try. I still didn't understand why she was having a problem when I've never had issues returning items with a receipt she finally decided that she would return it and gave me credit and she repeated like 5 times that this was the last time she would do this and that this was the only time I told her that's fine I would no longer be coming back. Also turns out she was a manager of some kind and her name was Mari. If that's the service you get from a manager I'm scared to see how the other employees act. read more
