I get it, most people have a dislike for Walmart, and I mostly don't shop them, but when you're visiting Vail, realize you forgot an Apple Watch charger, and you can get one by driving eight minutes, well that's awesome. You can also get ten million other random things a massive super center tends to stock. I will say that their covid-related signage stinks. The entire non-grocery side of the building's front entrance is locked, yet there's no signage for this. So, I park on that side knowing I was intending to go in that side, it's 18 degrees out, and I find those doors are locked so instead I have to walk the width of the parking lot to go to the other side.

Many of the other Walmart staples (clothes, home, pharmacy, personal items). Popped in to pick up sewing supplies while spending a week here in Steamboat. This store was clean although a little crowded with merchandise, probably because it's small. For COVID precautions they seem to be doing good. Masks required (by county). All staff elevating masks. Aisles were indicated one way. For the most part people were respecting one another's personal space.

I love the closeness of the Eagle Bahn gondola and many restaurants around. Plus, my favorite fall foliage trail, Berry Picker, starts here. Summer parking used to be free but now is $10/day and cheaper for less hours. Was definitely nice to have free parking back then! Winter time, I like to park at Donovan Park and grab the free bus. If you're super early, you can get close street parking here. They have an annual Oktoberfest and Dog Town usually sets up here during the Go Pro Mountain Games. Lots of good shops and places to eat.

Lionhead village is sister village from vail village. The are a lot of similarities among the…read morevillages. After October 1st, most of the stores closed due to the first snow is almost here. Most of the visitors also leave town after the last farmers market that time. After that is skiing season that may take another two months to happen. The town centre has the European bell tower with motion puppets. The village build in slope and the public parking takes you right in the town. Overall visit during that time only takes 1 hour. The gondola at the back take you to mountain and allow to walk to other side gondola and come down to Vail Village and take the bus to the Lionhead Parking.

Ross is the only anchor left inside, plus 3 other businesses. Which are All Delicious(last place to eat at inside), West Wind Smoke Shop, and Famous Footwear. Nothing else is left inside. The 2 stars are mainly since the interior is very well preserved, the fact I liked the color changing ceiling light in the main hallway leading up to Ross, and excluding JCPenney(drywalled over) you can see all the original storefronts otherwise. I don't think this mall will be open once whenever Ross' lease expires, so enjoy this mall while you still can. If you want a lively mall, look elsewhere like Mesa Mall in Grand Junction.
