They hunted with a local outfitter and the four of them got their animals. The market would only sell them a total of10 pounds of dry ice even though the market had a freezer full due to a delivery that day. That's 10 pounds for 4 pronghorn! My husband offered to pay for 10 pounds per animal (40 pounds) but the manager refused to sell it to him. When they finally accepted that 10 pounds of dry ice was all they were going to get, the manager yelled to the checker that they can't just by the dry ice, they need to purchase something else before they can buy the dry ice. So be sure to grab those first if you need eggs. I also recommend that you bring your own bags because Colorado banned plastic bags and the paper bags they use don't have handles. These are not independent merchants. All of this merchandise is part of the grocery store so you go there if you want to pay. Last time I was here the mini mall was closed and boarded up. You could look through the boards and see it in shambles so I am very happy to see that is no longer the case!
