He confirmed my order and packed it up without any issues. But when I got home, I realized I had been given unseasoned meat, even though the label and price tag clearly said it was supposed to be seasoned. I paid $43 for 3 pounds of meat that wasn't what I asked for. To be honest, it didn't feel like an honest mistake. It felt like they assumed I wouldn't know the difference or wouldn't say anything. Well--I did notice. And so did my whole family. If you're not a regular or don't speak Spanish fluently, I'd be extra careful. You may not get what you paid for. Really disappointing experience.

Pros: I mainly shop here for cheese, chicken breasts, organic microwave popcorn, some produce,…read morelunch meat, and yogurt. I've gotten other things, from ice cream bars to pickles, and I've been satisfied with most. The only products I haven't cared for are their brand wavy chips, and their brand honey wheat pretzels. I find both to be tasteless. Paper products have been satisfactory. Cons: Customer service is lacking. I'm at this location every Saturday- have been going for several months. I haven't had one employee smile at me, greet me, etc. Its never crowded when I'm there, but I sense some hostility from the workers stocking the shelves. I avoid regular checkouts as much as possible, due to the unfriendly workers, and the way checkout is handled. I find it very rushed. Self checkout took some getting used to, but I prefer it. You have to bag your own groceries either way, but at least at self checkout, you can go at your own pace. Some tips...if you'd rather not bag as you go, choose "brought own bag" option, then continue. Stack items on their scale as you scan them. This cuts down on errors that require assistance. Then either bag in your car after you've paid, or at your car. Makes it go much more smoothly.

I found an employee who "explained" that every store doesn't carry all the items on the flyer and they "probably" didn't have the items I was looking for. (WTH??) Not I will help you look...let me check- none of that. I decided to buy my 3 items and get out of there. As I am signed up to receive notifications from PWC POLICE on crime in the neighborhood, I got one several days later that said SKIMMERS had been found at the registers at the Dumfries and Woodbridge LIDL locations. The registers are at the front of the store, some manned by employees. I assume there are cameras focused on the register areas. THIS IS NOT A OUTSIDE ATM OR GAS STATION SITUATION. I immediately contacted my CC Company and they cancelled my card to send another. Anyone who has done this knows what a pain in the behind this is. No one noticed someone at an inside register attaching skimmers to their registers???? NO....not buying it....my thought is employee. I WILL NEVER EVER BE BACK TO ONE THESE CESSPOOLS AGAIN.....and if you do not want your info STOLEN I don't suggest you do either.

There are amazing pastries, chocolates and seasonings. The "Willow" brand has nice napkins, tissues and toilet paper. You won't find brand names but you will save a lot of money. I like the "non-food" row. There are always seasonal great buys. I just got a pair of gardening crocks for $8 (I don't garden but I do walk around in the rain or boardwalk in them). You could get a full patio set. Bring a quarter. You'll need to free the shopping cart from the chain gang. You'll get it back when you return it. If you are unhappy with any item, the return policy is great. You get your money back and another item.

They have all the neat stuff that you're looking for main line…read moregrocery store often don't carry and even some of the Korean/other international markets I go don't carry. Goya SPICY adobo (burgundy cap) they have, for example.aican Kola I get D&G pineapple-ginger sodaam here too... Or just the plain ginger one...and even the D&G Champagne Kola. A small selection of fresh produce, canned goods, dried goods, and bagged seasonings/spices can be found here too. Lots of dried peppers including ancho chillies. It sits in a large parking lot across the street from the Charles County Sheriff's Office with other little shops in the strip mall. Parking is never a problem and the environment inside the market is clean, efficient, and courteous. They take all forms of credit and even EBT cards. It happens to be next door to the Hip Hop Fish & Chicken that I like going to so it's an easy detour while I wait for my food. Drop by if you happen to be in the neighborhood.
