For whatever reason my card chip doesn't work straight away and it takes 5 tries and 2 different cards to be able to work, I know full well my tap feature works fine, I don't know why my chip struggles but I hate it when I'm at Walmart and their card readers don't have tap to pay :( like I said, bad experience

The "scan and go" option here is not very useful. They don't have separate lines for the "scan and go" and you have to go to self-checkout area. You don't have to get in line, but you have to find the Walmart employee in charge of the self-checkout area so they can direct you to a self-checkout register to use.
