The only recurring issue we've noticed is with the dairy department. Expiration dates don't seem to be monitored consistently. On several occasions, we've found entire pallets of milk with expiration dates that were the next day, leaving customers very little time to use the product. The same issue applies to yogurt. We've also found expired yogurt still being sold on the shelves instead of being removed. While we understand that an occasional item can be overlooked, this has happened often enough that it appears to be an ongoing problem. We truly enjoy shopping at WinCo and hope this feedback helps improve an otherwise outstanding store.

The parking lot was packed, the checkout lines were long, and it definitely felt like one of the more crowded Costco stores I've visited. I believe there's another location farther north, and if there were a few more throughout the city, it would probably help spread out the crowds. Even with the hustle and bustle, what stood out the most was something I've always loved about Oklahoma City--the people. I'm originally from Oklahoma City, and that genuine Oklahoma charm never gets old. Even while standing in long lines during the summer heat, people were chatting, laughing, and striking up conversations with complete strangers. It's one of those little things that makes waiting feel much shorter. The staff were equally welcoming. From the employees greeting customers at the entrance to the cashiers at checkout, everyone was friendly and engaging. Don't be surprised if they crack a joke or comment on something in your cart that they recommend that kind of personal interaction is refreshing and something I always appreciate. Like most Costco locations, they had plenty of sample stations set up throughout the warehouse, giving shoppers the chance to try products before buying. That's always one of my favorite parts of the Costco experience! Would I recommend this Costco? Absolutely again and again. Just do yourself a favor and, if possible, avoid peak shopping hours or weekends unless you don't mind the crowds. You'll probably have a much more relaxed experience. I would say this grocery store is better than Uptown, Kroger or any of the "General Mills" chains. I still like the OG TJ's better than the cheap short-cuts and ruthless business practices they have now. It only means I've moved a majority of my shopping to Whole Foods and Costco. Now this location - The staff is so helpful and friendly here. I really like they offer buckets for flowers - they have a great selection. Personally, I find the berry produce to go bad very quickly. Still find great quality & low prices on meats, cheeses and produce! I buy canned goods and sauces here too. They offer a great selection of wine as well. My dog loves their chicken treats. Over all - great shopping experience, fair prices and good quality. Just don't let the parking lot experience ruin it for you. Most Nichols Hills parking lots make you want to tear your hair out.

I have vision issues and cannot see to operate the self-check stations, and, for that matter, I wouldn't use them if I could. Humans are just better. Right? That's why we pay the Sprouts prices and avoid Wally World. Anyway, for the "sin" of asking for an in-person checker, the lecture flowed from the staff person staffing the self-checkout line.
