Easy check in process that took less than a minute. There's a kiosk inside Quest you sign in using your drivers license and the lab draw process took less than 5 minutes. Staff were friendly and seemed very competent at what they do. Certainly will be back to this Walmart to continue future lab works. read more

This Walmart has definitely changed over the years. This last trip I had an employee ride my tail because she was late for work and another one run the stop sign because they were late for work also. Columbia county could have a field day writing tickets in that parking lot and I hope one of those officers sees this review and the word gets out. The smell of weed and cigarettes are over powering in the parking lot where the employees hang out. I'm not sure when the Evans area became trash and trashed too. There was a rotten banana lying in the parking lot and chicken bones.. disgraceful. There are some miserables working here but then again that's every Walmart and this particular store used to be worth driving the extra miles to shop but not anymore. read more

Scheduled an appointment on Tuesday for an oil change on Wednesday. Arrived Wednesday and checked in without issue, a few minutes later I received a call that the brand of oil I'd chosen wasn't in stock, told them I wasn't concerned with the brand and any synthetic would do, was then told they had no synthetic in stock and they'd have to upcharge me to source oil from elsewhere, I agreed to the upcharge. About half an hour later, while sitting in their waiting area, I get an email that my appointment has been canceled; I walk up to the desk and inquire to a different woman about the situation, she walks out into the shop and comes back reporting that they just had to rewrite the order because of the change in oil, the oil change would be finished soon. An hour after my appointment time I get the notification that my car is finished, go to the counter, check out, get my key, and walk out... my car is in a different spot from where I parked it and all the windows are down. Almost three hours later I receive a call from the "manager" of the car department to let me know that they didn't have a filter so my oil change was never done. Can she explain why they let me check in knowing they didn't have the oil or filter in stock? No. Can she explain why I sat and waited for an hour while no one worked on my car? No. Can she explain why it was ever even touched, never mind moved and left with all the windows down in a parking lot, since there was never any intention of working on it? No. All she can offer me is a refund and to tell me if I can find a filter myself they'll do the oil change for free... as if I'd ever trust them to even look at my car again. Can I talk to the actual Walmart manager? Not until Friday. I am beyond irate with frustration; there were two women working the counter and at least three people out in the shop area and none of them saw fit to let me know that they didn't change my oil but still charged me for the service? Not even an apology, just an "excuse" that she was at lunch when it happened. Baffling. read more

I have to say that this is my favorite Wal-Mart in the area. It is clean, well-stocked and it seems like they offer some of the nicer lines of foods and other items like clothing in their inventory. The employees are generally friendly and helpful. The best part about this Wal-Mart, though, is hands down, Harold the greeter. He is the nicest and friendliest man and my husband and I look forward to coming here just to be able to have the opportunity to chat with him. 1. Prices on the shelf are at times lower than at check out. Often needing Associates to adj. price at checkout. Plse. price your items as advertised. Publix is ALWAYS as priced when checking out. 2. Auto Centre mechanics NEVER check your tire pressure for safety even when requested. Had to come here because of their optical center. Godzilla, I mean my daughter, decided to stomp HARD on not one, but two pairs of glasses. And in case you're wondering, I asked Godzilla why would she do that, and she told me "I don't know". Now I'm dying on the inside here, because I'd rather go out of my way to find a Target. We previously bought Godzilla's glasses at a Walmart before moving here, so here we are. Not knowing if it'd cost anything to get them fixed, we called. And called. And called. Nobody could pick up the phone. When we finally get there, it's a ghost town so we get the glasses in immediately. It takes him a bit to get the other store to pull up to verify our previous purchases and look up a warranty, but they fixed the glasses and Godzilla knows better now. All in all a 15 minute repair. We'll probably, most likely, can almost guarantee you, we'll have to be back. read more

I am torn about this review. I had a problem today and I am not sure if it was a Walmart problem in taking care of their workers or a disgruntled worker named Aida who had an attitude. I went to the Wal-Mart Supercentet like I usually do. I love this Wal-mart ! know many of it's workers who are always friendly. Wal-mart has been known to move things around alot and today was no exception. I just could not find the Halls Cough Drops. Usually not a hard find right. But after going up and down the rows twice I decided to ask the first person in that area I saw. In the Pharmacy area and it was Aida. I asked here if she could tell me where the Halls Cough Drops were. After several attempts of her saying she did not understand I took my mask off and said Cough Drops. Nows is the time I get slightly confused and yes even irritated. She says she does not speak english well and could I describe it better for her. Really? Halls Cough drops? She was using one of the hand held devices that the employees use so she finally asked me to spell it in for her. Halls. She asked me to spell it for her while she punched it in. So I know she can at least spell English. This is were I have a problem. Either Wal-mart has hired this young lady and is not giving her the training and education she needs to be successful in this job or Wal-mart has hired a lady who is falsely portraying herself. I always go to Walmart for groceries and I've lived in multiple states and this one has to be the worst by far! I swear they are ALWAYS out of everything essential; produce, bread, eggs, milk, baby formula, etc. Today I needed to use the pick up because my husband was in contact with someone COVID positive, and I didn't want to risk going inside and I ended up having to just cancel the order. I sat in the pick up spot for an hour and nothing. No one came outside, no one answered the phone, people were getting out of their cars and knocking on the pick up door and no answer. Just nothing for any of the about 20 cars parked in the pick up area. Other cars just started leaving so I did too. Gratefully I didn't really NEED the things I came for but I can't imagine for the people who NEEDED things and truly couldn't go inside. Terrible pick up customer service! read more

This place is horrible. They're constantly out of everything you need. Not only that, but they have wine locked up that in my opinion isn't even fancy enough to be locked up lol. Walmart is not my ideal stop but when I know that I don't want to risk making two stops, I give in and go to walmart. I gave this center WalMart a 4 because the bathrooms are clean and the soap dispensers are always full. There are no surprises when I search for a stall. Atmosphere-The store is clean and smells clean. The employees are friendly. You can shop peacefully without the loud music. Early mornings are the best time to visit this Walmart. I like the idea that you see the Store Manager and he is always friendly whether you are orange or green. He values all of the customers which is why I keep going back. I gave them a 4 because they don't sell my Red Rose Sausage from McGee, MS. Who knows maybe one day they will. THe ladies in the bakery are friendly and they can really cook well. The presentation of the food is always nice and the display is always being filled with fresh food. However, they need to change that Macaroni and Cheese. It isn't the real deal. Stacy is the manager at the Salon in this WalMart and she is an excellent stylist! I have been to some top notch salons and she is excellent with color and her precision cuts. She is the best kept secret for all ladies. This is all I am going to say so that I don't have any problems getting on her appointment book. THis is a really safe WalMart. I hope that WalMart will consider lowering the cost of its fruits and vegetables so that families can provide more fruits and vegetables for their children and elderly. Walmart has always been good about helping others. I would like to see them bring in more health fairs that check people for diabetes, hypertension. I would like to see WalMart take on more of a leading role in helping those who can't shop in their stores by providing jobs for possibly nonviolent offenders and programs that will promote better relationships with the elderly within the community. Horrible! At self checkout where Ms Porter was working, I was about to scan an item when two of the products fell out of it's container. She waited for me to pick them up as i nodded for assistance due to being handicapped . I requested to replace the item. She refused to return that container to it's shelf and grab me another. It is a "super" Walmart, which translated means it also has groceries for those not familiar. While an associate is trying to tell a customer about a high priced item. Look interested in the same item.. and say you can get it cheaper online! Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone, 'Code 3' in housewares......and see what happens. Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area. Look right into the security camera, use it as a mirror and pick your nose. When a clerk asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?' Dart around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the theme from "Mission Impossible." Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through, say "PICK ME!" "PICK ME!" Ask an associate for entry into the fitting room, shut the door and wait a while and then yell loudly "There is no toilet paper in here!" Again for the most part staff is great but they have a few lazy ones and some on the registers that are a little rude :(. Well pour yourself a beverage and have a read. I like the fact that there were an adequate open registers but of course this was mid afternoon. The self service registers were abundant as many WalMart removed these conveniences due to the large amount of thefts occurring at the self checkout. I left the Walmart, Evans GA store sometime about 2pm, after waiting two (2) hours for a tire repair. When I arrived, I waited 10 mins or slightly longer for a Rep (young man) to come to the desk and check me in, after pressing need assistance on the keypad. Once signed in the Rep told me there were two vehicles in front of me. Those vehicles were already in non-tire repair bays and the two tire repair bays were empty. While sitting and waiting, I noticed that two vehicles had been pulled into the first tire bay, although I had questioned the female (Rep) Supervisor after seeing the first vehicle on the rack. She questioned the Tech who pulled the second vehicle in and informed him that my vehicle had been pushed back twice, but she failed to get him to comply and pull my vehicle into the bay. Instead, what the Tech did which made absolutely no sense was he attempted to inspect my tire where it was parked and told the Supervisor that he did not see an item protruding. Again, that made no sense since only a very small section of a tire can be inspected when on the ground. I told the female Supervisor, that there was a problem with the tire as I put 22 lbs., of air in the tire prior to coming to Walmart. I was totally disappointed with the service. I requested my keys, left and took my vehicle over to Marc Yount's Tire Pros, Washington Rd, Evans GA. They got me in and out within 35 mins. Thanks to the Marc Yount's team. read more

Live in Augusta, and you'll soon see not all Wal-Marts are created equal. This Wal-Mart is located in Evans, GA. I remember with fondness the day that this Wal-Mart was opened. It was a big deal in the small town, and cheerleaders from the local high school were at the Wal-Mart...doing what cheerleaders do...(no..no.. not what you're thinking...they were CHEERING...sheesh) Okay so what are you thinking... how can I rate a wal-mart? Well here it goes. 1) Cleanliness- As far as this wal-mart goes I'd rate it at about a 4 or a 5. Since they are servicing a middle to upper class clientele, they keep this wal-mart fairly clean, and the employees are friendly enough, and will willingly help you find what you're looking for. 2) Service- Sometimes the service can be lacking though and so that's why I would give the service a 3 or a 4. Sometimes you'll just get the wrong person in the wrong department, or sometimes you won't see a Wal-Mart employee anywhere, but I've seen this happen at a lot of wal-marts. 3) Traffic- What I mean by traffic is how busy the place is. It's busy. Hell it's wal-mart. That, and the growth of the town of Evans from 10,000 to 100,000 people... I mean... that happens. This is not a place you want to go before a holiday like Christmas, in fact I believe pretty much any Wal-Mart is hell around those days. Yet, you can usually check out fairly quickly if you go at the right times, and besides this place is open pretty much 24/7, so if you really want to avoid the crowds, go early or go late. As far as actual vehicular traffic, it's not too bad. They do only have one main entrance, which can get a little backed up on busy days. So I give that a 4 as well. ***BONUS INFO! FOR FUTURE WORKERS ONLY!*** So when I was in high school I had a friend who worked at Wal-Mart and so they filled me in on what it's like to work here. The pay isn't too shabby and if you're a college kid or a high school kid trying to earn some extra cash it's an okay bet. Yet, you are usually randomly put in a section, and it can feel very monotonous. Constantly rearranging the same stuff over and over again, but if you can get past that, it's not too bad and they usually pay a higher wage than most fast food joints, and the work isn't too hard. So yeah. If you REALLY want to work at Wal-Mart go ahead. No one's stopping you. read more

Never got the call to pick it up. So, after waiting a month (it was a non-critical prescription) I just showed up and asked about it. The girl at the counter ran around a bit, confused and checking on it. Then she consulted the head pharmacist and returned stating that they had it in the system, but it was something they had to order, so they were going to put that in now. I was understandably perturbed, but they were less than apologetic. The girl at the counter got a bit of an attitude with me and said "well, I dont know who you talked to, but we're going to have to order it." WRONG ANSWER! The first words out of her mouth should have been "I'm sorry sir, we'll get that ordered for you". Instead, she immediately begins making excuses for their lack of ability to execute the ONE THING that they need to do at Walmart. So, to clarify, I submitted my prescription a month ago. They have it in the system. They did not bother to order it. So now I'm w/o my prescription for a month plus however long it's going to take for them to order it and receive it and call me to let me know its here. I bought two sets of truck tires and searched for the best price and quality and the answer both times was Wal-Mart ONLINE with the Evans location installing them, which they did quickly. The road hazard warranty -- honored at ALL Wal-Mart tire centers--is only 10 bucks a tire. And a full synthetic oil change is a full $30 cheaper at Wal-Mart than anywhere else. The same kind of savings can be said about their auto batteries, too. Drop your vehicle off, get your shopping done and knock out two chores at the same time. read more

--Automotive Center-- Couple months ago my wife's car had a blow out. I brought the rim and the tire in to get a new one. The Automotive center was not busy at all, I believe I remember their only being one car in the bays, very unusual for Wal-Mart especially on a Saturday afternoon. I brought the tire in, spoke to the cashier, and purchased the tire. The lady said we will get right on it. Thought to myself awesome in and out and I can get this tire back on the car. So my son and I just took a very leisurely walk around Wal-mart and we came back to the Automotive Center about an hour and 1/2 later. I went up to the cashier and asked her if we were good to go. She said that there were still working on it.... Still working on it?!? It's a freakin tire change... I wasn't getting my engine replaced. So, I sat down in the waiting room and watched TV. I happen to look out the window that was overlooking the bays, and I noticed something...well I noticed "nothing." There was absolutely no one there. I once again asked the cashier about my tire and she very angrily told me "Sir, we'll get to it when we get to it." My take on it is this...take your car to a more reputable automotive place. I understand that this Wal-mart may seem to be more convenient, but you may end up like me, sitting in a Wal-Mart waiting room for three hours just to have your tire changed. I've never really been a big fan of Walmart, just because I stay dedicated to the underdog, like local businesses. But one night I needed a few things so I walked in there around 1:00AM, when everyone was stocking shelves after being hit up for Christmas gifts. I cut my finger and didn't really know what to do, right at that moment a guy in blue quickly stops and asks, "Are you alright, can I help you with anything?". He didn't know I was my finger was bleeding. It was just simply good customer service. After he got me a Band-Aid, I spill half of a bottle of Vitamin Water on the floor directly in front of him. Without any sign of frustration, he says, "it's alright don't worry about it"; then asks a fellow employee to grab a mop. He is the manager by the way, four days before Christmas, and this guy is busy. Too busy to be messing around with a customer acting like a drunk clutz. I cannot remember his name (I was completely sober btw), but it started with the letter C. He took the time to check the price on an item I was looking at, then explain how The item could actually actually be made at home. We both started talking about woodwork, tools and our Sirius The item could actually actually be made at home. We talked about woodwork, tools and prices of materials. After going through how the item could be made at home rather simply, we calculated material costs, then he scanned the item to check Walmarts price. Dammit if it wasn't cheaper to buy it at Walmart. I know the prices of wood and materials at Home Depot; all of his cost estimates were spot on, so he wasn't inflating the homemade price. As a manager, he was patient and kind to put up with a customer's clumsiness. He cleverly explained how to make this piece of woodwork at home, BUT why it is fiscally wiser to buy it at Walmart (even though it was made in China). It is super rare to find an item more expensive when homemade, over store-bought. Thinking back, I do not believe that he even realized how genius that sales pitch turned out to be. That's if he even meant it to be a sales pitch in the first place. So many customer service interactions, over fifteen years more or less, have trained me to think this way. In reality, this was just a guy at work, who randomly found me in need of help. Then we found a common hobby of interest, all taken in stride. But the biggest reason for me making this into the sales & service dynamic of the year', was the fact that everything he did was rooted in goodness, peace, joy, patience, kind Christmas spirit, dedication to his career, and most of all was his natural use of good ol' fashion, straight up honesty. And because of that honesty, he was blessed by benefiting his company because I bought the badass crate. Honesty may be a lost quality in sales. Corporate-ran employees are either looking to make a sales commission, or is paid hourly, then it is likely that they just don't care. Customers just become annoyances to avoid. I've been there, they do. Retail sucks, yet most of the employees I saw or spoke with, seemed to be happy at that Walmart location. I'm willing to bet the manager has a lot to do with their joy on the job. That Walmart has a manager working the night shift who needs a promotion. Walmart I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer service like I did today when I went to pick my Wal-Mart layaway up in Evans, GA. The girl handling my layaway brought out two Walmart boxes and two toys that were too big to fit in their boxes. She opened the boxes and said are these your items. I said "yes, is that all of my stuff?" She told me it was. I was in a hurry and honestly should've went through the boxes and went over my receipt, but I just took her word for it. I left the store loaded my car and headed home. I glanced over my receipt because I didn't remember seeing certain toys in the box and said I would just check everything again when I got home. So I get home and unload the stuff in my driveway and check it off. The first 6 items are there but I'm missing 7 items. So I assume maybe the layaway girls misplaced a box with the rest of my stuff. I call the store back and talk to the layaway department. They go check and come back and say "ma'am you left with your entire order." I tell them I didn't and name off some of the things that were missing. So they say they will get their loss prevention to view the cameras and call me back. I decided to just drive 45 minutes back to the store to talk to them in person and obviously get the items they left off. I immediately walk back to layaway where the girls that had helped me before tell me to go to customer service and ask for the manager. So I go to the front and an associate takes me to the first manager. I explain who I am and what happened. He has one of their loss prevention guys walk with me back towards layaway. This is where the nightmare happens. We are approached my a female manager named Larone (not sure of the spelling). She proceeds to tell me that she viewed the video and I left with everything that all I had was two boxes and two toys. She told the loss prevention guy that everything I was claiming I was missing was small items that fit inside the two boxes. I tell her that I am missing $155 worth of toys. She tells me that I am a liar that they gave me everything. So I raise my voice and trying to explain to her the items I'm missing will not fit in those boxes. She says she is not going to talk to me since I was raising my voice and walks off. (I'm only able to work part time because of everything going on with Jace so of course I'm going to be mad about missing 7 toys that they are saying I'm lying about and trying to steal.) So me and the LP guy walk back to the front so he can view the camera. He comes back out after 10 minutes and confirms that all I left with were two small boxes and two toys. We go back to Larone where she continues to call me a liar and says she's not giving me my $155 back that I can just call corporate and take it up with them. So I tell the LP guy to walk with me to my car to get these boxes that they gave me. We get the stuff out of my car and head back to layaway. By this time there is a line of parents waiting to pick their stuff up and appalled at the way this manager is talking to me..a customer. I open the boxes and show her they are too small and already full with the stuff that I got, that it was physically impossible to fit the stuff I was missing in those boxes. I told her to go get the items from the toy section and if she could fit them in the boxes and close them I would leave. She goes in the back and has her layaway girls look again. About 15 minutes later guess what... The girls come back and have a huge box and a toy that wouldn't fit. They were apologetic...but Larone never showed her face. Never offered an apology for calling me a liar and accuse ME of stealing, when In fact Wal-Mart was stealing from me. The girls tell me to go back to customer service that they have a gift card waiting for me. So I head back up front where I meet with two other managers that were extremely friendly and am handed a gift card. I explain the whole ordeal and they too are surprised at the way I was treated. Be aware that Walmart has changed its policy regarding labor only oil change fees. You will be charged for the oil service package based on the type of oil you bring to the store, even though the difference in the packages is based on the different cost of the oil to be pulled from the Walmart shelf. The following complaint was sent to Walmart corporate. I am writing to complain about a recent policy change that has resulted in me being defrauded out of $13.88. On 12/9/2017 my wife went to Walmart Supercenter #3570 to receive an oil change and tire rotation service. She was quoted $29.88 for the oil change, with customer provided oil and filter. We have been using Walmart for our oil changes for many years and were accustomed to paying the labor only fee of about $18. When I reviewed the oil changes performed previously, by this location, I found that we had been charged for the full synthetic service, minus two credits for customer provided oil and filter for a total of $33.54. I went to the store to seek a partial refund for what I was sure was an error. I spoke with automotive department assistant managers Jim and Liz as well as store assistant manager Dimario (spelling may be in error). I was told that no partial refund or store credit could be issued as too much time had passed, as my service was performed on 4/21/2017. I was informed that Walmart had changed its policy to charge its customers the full service price for whichever oil change package, based on the type of customer provided oil. My wife was never apprised of this policy change, however, and this policy is not posted anywhere for the customer to see. All three associates agreed with me that this policy did not make sense, but insisted that their hands were tied. I called 1-800-WALMART and had this policy confirmed. This practice has the real effect of charging customers for a product that they did not purchase, which I believe to be a fraudulent business practice. I did not bother to check the receipt for the prior oil change as I was operating under the assumption that Walmart still charged a labor only oil change fee. Additionally, the behavior of both the automotive assistant managers showed poor professional customer service behavior. Jim, interrupted me once, made a smart aleck remark once, and then made facial and body language gestures that were derisive and dismissive of my concerns during our conversation. When I wrote down their names to include in my complaint, Liz turned her store ID around to hide its information from me. Further, Liz tried to lie to me to tell me that the local dealership had the same policy and would charge me the same way. I called the dealership and was quoted a $14 labor only oil change. This is a very different experience from when I previously had worked with the Automotive department's very professional department manager. I provided excellent feedback for him given his excellent customer service acumen. The end result of this policy change is that I will no longer be servicing my oil changes at Walmart (after many years of customer loyalty across multiple vehicles), I will be contacting BBB to report this policy as a fraudulent business practice policy, and I will be leaving reviews in Yelp and Google to ensure other potential customers are made aware. read more
