Tonight was my first time coming to this store. I gave an extra star just because they had the item in stock that I was searching for, which I placed a site-to-store pickup for. The staff seems very unorganized and somewhat understaffed, but I know that can be typical of Walmart. When I called to double check what this location was closest to and after 10 rings, someone finally picked up. She seemed very...lost. She said that location was not near anything. I gave up and plugged in into my gps app. This location is nearest to the fay airport, it's across from the street that leads to the airport. I can't believe that the walmart staff doesn't know that and really do a poor job of knowing any landmark or any identifiable place to help those of us that don't know. Store wise, it actually reminded me of a Rose's. Although, it's a supercenter and this location is newer than the one on Ramsey - Ramsey seems more modern. read more

The store this encounter happened was at 3030 Main St in Hope Mills N.C. On checkout the cashier was rude and refused to acknowledge me because I was white. She was the front end ta on Sunday the 28th of September around 11am, I asked a simple question and she totally ignored and refused to answer. When I repeated the question she continued to ignore me. I wasn't being rude. She also looked at my daughter-in-law with a look of absolute disdain. I have never received such unprecedented rudeness from someone. She was from the black community and needs to be fired for her actions. She represents the company not herself when on the job. She obviously believes all white people hate her race which is totally untrue. Name tag said Salisha, Frontend TA. Woke up and the battery was dead. Wallmart tested battery and put a new one in while we shopped. With Sears gone wallmart is a good option for minor car issues read more

So I have ordered from this stupid place 4 times (including this time) and this is my last and final time spending my money. I will go to the grocery store myself before I even think about shopping at Walmart again. The driver took my grocery to someone's house and took a pic of the back of their car! And when you call for help how about there is no one to answer the phone and the voicemail is full so you can't leave a message. I am done with Walmart for good. read more

Nice, brand new, location in Fayetteville (or is it Hope Mills) NC off of 301. Plenty of free parking. Customer service is what you would expect from any Walmart. You're not going to be hand fed everything and they're not going to barf rainbows to make you happy. You go in, you get what you need, and you check out. If you don't want to talk to a cashier, you can self check out. They now have someone at the exit though, checking receipts like they do at Sam's Club, so that was interesting. She seemed to like her job though, and was good at it, so I give an extra star for her efforts. read more

Customer service was very unprofessional. There was an older lady in there who seemed to be a supervisor and treated all of her workers like trash in front of customers. They're just kids!- most of them. She had the worst tone in her voice and belittled them all. Made everyone uncomfortable and you could cut the tension with a butter knife. Felt like I had to say something but this is the best alternative. Shame on you Walmart lady. read more

Unbelievable how unorganized this store was tonight. Did not take long to see what as it seems everyone working to stock/organize shelves were on one isle. I was three isles over and could hear them laughing/goofing off. One isle over and their conversations were very clear with a ample amount of profanity. Music also playing from a one's cell phone. Crazy...even if it's after hours, that behavior isn't appropriate but during normal store hours!!! Ridiculous. There has been glaring issues here before...so much out of date stock on shelves, etc. I've been irritated before and just ran down to Food Lion but tonight was so bad that it prompted me to put a review here. read more

I absolutely LOVE the new grocery pick up service at this Wal-Mart. Every time I've used it, the products are correct, the customer service is excellent and it saves me so much time! Yesterday, I had a small problem with a substitution of an item ordered. This morning, the manager personally called me to make sure it was resolved correctly. I appreciate the wonderful customer service. Another order placed today for items I forgot to order yesterday. Love, love, love the FREE pick up. (There is a minimum $30 order for free pick up but I've never walked out of Wal-Mart for less than $30 so this is no big deal to me.) read more

The store itself is just like any other Walmart in America. Basic household goods at low prices. The problem with this location is the safety issues in the parking lot. There are always panhandlers and shady characters lurking about. It's within walking distance to the rent-by-the-week motels that have semi-annual busts for prostitution and drug sales. On a Sunday afternoon, I was approached by three different men asking for money "to feed their kids" while I pushed my cart from the store to my car. Not cool. read more

If you go to this Walmart please be careful, my mother 64 years old was mugged in the parking lot during broad day light at 3:00 in the afternoon Saturday afternoon. People walked by taking pictures and even the security guy there went right by her while this was happening! Please please be careful if you go here! read more

The pharmacy drive thru is a joke. No way for a woman able to use it unless they get out of their car. Never again!!

Pretty okay Walmart. The reason I love this Walmart is because I live about 2 minutes away from it. But I do not like the service from the workers. They are rude and not helpful. I am loving this Walmart. Of course since it is brand new, the store is so clean, bright, and well stocked. I have been to this Walmart at least a dozen times since it has opened and have found that the sales associates are some of the most friendly, cheerful folks I have encountered. The only comment that I have is I wish they would carry Glass Plus and the olives that are stuffed with garlic and olives that are stuffed with feta cheese. read more

I usually do not write negative reviews; however, I am making exception as today at approximately 6:30 pm, I have experienced the worst customer service at this Gillespie Street Wal-mart than I've ever received in my entire 52 years of existence. I went in today to get a few items and went to check out at the garden center as there were several sales associates(4) standing back there socializing. I stood there for 15 minutes as no less than (6) Wal-mart personnel continued to walk back and forth but fail to acknowledge my presence. The register display did say tap for assistance and I did that many many times to no avail. I the googled the phone number to the store and called (4) times before anyone answered. When someone finally did pick up, I explained my situation and told them that I was still waiting to be checked out. The person said that they would send someone right away; however, I waited another 15 minutes as Wal-mart employees continued to stroll by before I became annoyed and walked out leaving the merchandise at the register. I called the store (3) more times before I was able to get someone to answer the phone. At that time I asked to speak with a manager. The person on the other end of the phone said she would get a manager after some back and forth about which manager she should get, I just asked her just get me a store manager, assistant manager, just let me speak to someone in management. The young lady never came to the phone, neither did a manager or any other employee ever pick up the phone. I waited 20 minutes because I felt the manager really needed to get a handle on this particular problem in this store. I eventually just hung up when it was clear no one was going to help me. Hopefully this is an isolated incident, but I doubt it. If I could rate this store as a zero for it's customer service I would. If you value your time and want a store that values your business shop elsewhere. I don't understand how a new store could be so poor when it comes to customer service. read more
