Corner Cup has been mine and my husband's favorite spot to grab an iced latte since moving to Festus. Even when we stop by other coffee shops in STL or Saint Charles, Corner Cup is still our favorite. My go-to is an iced pistachio latte with honey drizzle (the first time I came here they had a seasonal Baklava Latte and it was sooo good) and my husband gets an iced hazelnut latte. I've also tried their iced chai and it is delicious--not too sweet and just the right amount of spices. My favorite, savory baked food is their spinach and feta danish. I highly recommend getting one with your coffee for a light breakfast. The baristas are so kind and welcoming, and they always remember my name because I go there so much haha. The shop itself is very cute, and their furniture is quaint and unique, and they always have fun, coffee-related knick-knacks for sale. Must-try spot in Festus! Also, you can order large, to-go drinks which I did on a Saturday because they're closed Sunday and Monday. read more

Corner coffee shop and micro bakery in Crystal City (40 minutes south of the city). Okay, this is a trek if you're coming from the city, but believe me when I say it's worth it. They create the best seasonal drinks hands down. My recent favorites have been the iced lemon poppyseed and iced pineapple upside down lattes. They typically release their seasonal drinks in sets of four, offering a coffee flight option to try all at once. Lastly, they sell their lattes pre-made in jugs! I found this place through their Instagram, and I'm glad I did. Cozy and quaint shop with loads of character. It's not that bad of a drive from St Louis, either via 55 or 61/67. I got there around 9am on a Saturday, and they were absolutely bustling. Some people at the tables, many more in line. The bakery items are fairly limited, though about what you would expect for a place its size. I didn't have one, but the cinnamon rolls particularly look appealing. Meanwhile, I had a gingerbread latte, which was one of several intriguing items on their seasonal menu - it was quite tasty. Absolutely LOVE this local coffee shop! The staff is so friendly and the owner is wonderful! I frequent this location anytime I am in the Festus area. Their housemade syrups and bakery items are to die for. Get there early for the bakery items as they go fast! The scones are my FAVE! Where do I begin? The coffee flights are fantastic and my most recent obsession is the cinnamon roll drink. It is fantastic hot or iced. My daughter and I were walking around downtown Festus this morning waiting for the library to open and passed by The Corner Cup. A very nice man was outside enjoying a coffee and told us that his sister owned the place and everything was delicious. We decided to try it out and it was great! I had a large chai tea latte and my daughter had a cinnamon roll. Both were so good. The place was very busy, but not a long wait. I could tell they were a popular coffee spot. The ambiance was nice; my daughter enjoyed the artificial flower pots on the tables, they were cute! We will be back for sure. read more

I very much enjoyed my blueberry muffin and my iced latte "Summer Sampler Flight." (The young woman who "built" my flight did a great job on the lattes -- and the presentation was visually pretty!) I also bought a "Summer Shake Up" to go, along with a "Jug A Latte" and a cinnamon roll and a pecan muffin to bring home to my wife! Nice folks working there at Corner Cup, and I had a great chat with the two friendly folks sitting at the next table about our respective coffee and muffin choices! Even though I got there closer to 10:30 am (instead of 9 am, when I'd planned to be there), there were still some great choices left - but hey there earlier forth more variety! An adorable little bakery! Welcoming, fresh, and comfortable. The decor is cute and the goodies are plentiful. I had a coconut pecan scone that was just the right amount of sweet and crumbly, rich and light. I didn't want coffee as it was mid-morning, so they recommended an iced tea that was fabulous. I believe it was called "Meditation" and it included black tea, pomegranate, and vanilla. Delicious! I sat by the window and enjoyed the atmosphere while watching Main Street roll by. Several others were in and out while I was there and it sounds like they have plenty of coffee choices (lattes, drip coffee, macchiatos, etc.) with flavors and sweetness of your choice. I also hear they have coconut cream pie on the daily. Tried this little place out a few weeks ago. Nice atmosphere. Lots of people were there when I went so it was a little loud (small spaces can be that way). We love this place! Coffee and desserts are incredible! My two year old loves to go here with me to get his special drink and treat. He picked out a salted caramel scone the first time we went and I was skeptical because scones are usually really dry and icky. But not this one!
