I went here last month and there was a product that was 2 for $8.99 but not 4 for $17.98, according to the first customer service associate. The one next to them said that I would need to buy 6 to get the sale again and they seemed to have a disagreement on that statement. I just returned it, don't have time to figure out which associate is correct. Just today they have a cereal brand for $1.99, marked in the aisle but I paid $3.99. My friend had a semi-emergency and their checkout froze for a good 5 minutes, so I couldn't stop or go back yet. I checked the website, none of the cereal brand is listed for $1.99 Why is it marked differently in the aisle? Went a couple of months ago, got a product only to find out the "buy 1 get 1 free" was good once, not buy 2 get 2 free. Sure, whatever. It's not marked anywhere on the aisle or the website, but because it's marked in their sales flyer that way, I had to just return it without getting the deal. It is a sheisty store and I am sure it's no different than any other meijer. I won't be shopping here again.

So I started using the restrooms in Meijers and other similar stores where I THOUGHT I would be inconspicuous. Of course I couldn't resist looking around some after, as long as I was in here. It gave me a little break from driving and a chance to look for a couple of items I needed. I had to take my morning off work to do this. Was thinking I could get it over the counter but I couldn't so I waited about 30 minutes until the pharmacy opened up. I was first in line. I went to the counter and said I needed an order for my daughter. I was told I can't buy for her. I said it was ordered by Well now and I was asked to show proof. I went out to my truck to get the paperwork and returned with it. Because it said trial and not prescription, they said she couldn't have it, so the lady at the register had to talk with the lead about what to do. They said they would sell it to me after talking for about 4-5 minutes on what to do. Then I was told the federal database was down so they couldn't sell it to me. So I left without the medicine. I asked my wife to go later and get it. She went up in the evening and said she was getting some for my daughter. She was told no problem and was given the medication without question. I don't appreciate the preferential treatment. My daughter was visibly not feeling well (sniffing and grunting) and with me but I got the run around but my wife goes with my other daughter and mentions it's for my sick daughter and no questions asked. Why the difference in service? I get why Sudafed and other products may have to be purchased at the pharmacy. I teach substance use prevention for a living, so believe me, I get it. But a woman with a child present gets no questions yet a man with a sick child gets the third degree. I am 330 pounds. Trust me, I am not cooking or using meth. I would like to be able to receive the same treatment in line as other people, especially after waiting 30 minutes+ to get something when others wait little and have no problem. I was not rude.

Only they never have it set up anymore and I'm left waiting still. Which leads me to my next issue, I called in my script on a Thursday and when I went to pick it up of course all of it wasnt ready. I was told 2 of the items were sent to my doctor for approval. The next day (Friday) I call and ask if they are ready and they say they are still waiting on my doctor and they sent it today. (Why today when they said they did the day before....) Now my doctors office is closed for the weekend and I am now out of my script and check on Monday and am told they still have not heard back from my doctor. Upon calling my doctor they say they never received the request and will send it over right away. I wait 3 hours and head up there and am told to wait. After 10 mins I think they forgot about me and am about to say something and am told another 30 mins! I wait because I have been without this script now for the last couple days. When I arrive back 25 mins later my script is still not ready! I wait in the drive thru forever for them to come back with only 1 script. I'm done. And all I'm told is they will have to call the doctors office in the morning. How am I to believe that when they told me Thursday they sent the request then Friday and come Monday still NOTHING! The worst customer service ever!!! Save yourself the time!
