Although we now have Aldi and also Walmart but neither are primarily a full dedicated grocery. Biggest problem is a freshness issue with EVERYTHING being outdated or about to expire. We're not just talking perishables. Ketchup and mustard, mayo, horseradish sauce, beef jerky, Triscuits, and more. It's difficult to find milk not expiring within 3 days or salad bags not brown and mushy. I wrote a review 2 years ago about products being outdated. Nothing has changed. Bottom line is I have never talked to anyone who is happy with this store and wouldn't love to have Cub back. NO ONE! I now make trips out of town to stock up on most grocery items. We are done. Never, ever thought I'd say this but Walmart here we come. These concerns were addressed to management via email with no response.

I am not sure why all these stations in upstate Mn ask so many questions..and again guys, no I am not a member and don't have a card! Inside we have the usual clean well organized convenience store with plenty of take out options hot or cold. It's really getting hard to tell Lucky Seven from Holiday from Cenex from Caseys, you get the idea. At least we know what to expect. If you think they are all clean and look the same, travel to a southern state, like Oklahoma and stop in to a Circle K, whoa not in Minnesota anymore.

We were just looking for a few things like bagels and some snacks. I asked for help in locating bagels and two women in the bakery were super helpful. Very nice and friendly. We also picked up some premade snacks (cut veggies and dip) and there were lots of premade options to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety and atmosphere of this store.

Unless you pay for your cart and bag and Aldi's, your basically stuck at Super One Foods. And their business practices are shady at best. For instance: the assistant manager at the Super One Foods in Deer River was fired for being "inappropriate" (for the lack of a better word) with the female employee's. This occurred everywhere when the store closed, including but not limited to: the tables of the produce room in the back, the meat room, the main office, the break room, and much more. If you are wondering how I know this, let's just say I was an insider for a while.
