Customer relations Starts at the top and it seems Walmarts Top doesn't give a damn. Here's a letter I sent to Walmart Customer service: To Whom it may concern, The price for a pack of refills went from $6.99 in April to $15.88 in May. That's a 227% increase in a week! I returned tonight to see if the price was adjusted, it wasn't. At 7-11, a company who is high on most items, the refills go for $10, 37% less than the Hatfield Pa. Walmarts price. I used to go out of my way to get my refills and do my other shopping at this store. Unless I receive a reasonable reply regarding this issue my shopping destination will change and I will share this outrage by word of mouth, online as well as other mediums. I'm very disappointed. I feel the need to write this post due to your awful management. To have a customer wait 20 minutes In self checkout while 2 employees try to track you down because you aren't answering your phone or walkie is completely ridiculous. You need to make yourself available for your employees and your customers. You are supposed to oversee the staff and your store. You caused an inconvenience to your employees, and to multiple customers as a result. As a business management student, I am completely appalled at the way this manager handled this situation. I was trying to redeem e-gift cards that I received through my bank. When she finally arrived she didn't acknowledge me whatsoever. And when she left she didn't apologize for the inconvenience or even say "goodbye." When they say management has the power to destroy a business, they aren't lying. I feel for the employees who have the unfortunate need to pay their bills by working for you. read more

This walmart has 12 resisters and self check out, they currently have 2 open, I am 11th in line, who the hell is running this store. This is ridulous... I have been on hold for 30 minutes with the same ringing over and over again. I've called all of the extensions, and nobody has responded on any of them. This is absolutely unacceptable and I think I Walmart should read this and step their game up. Again, absolutely unacceptable. read more

This has absolutely 100% positively got to be the worst store of which I've ever been to in my entire 56 years of living. The staff is extremely rude. The management is very obnoxious and irate to their customers. They act as though they are doing you a favor not realizing if it worked for the customers they wouldn't even have a job. They are the laziest group of people I've ever seen in my entire life. Walked in the store this evening and for the fifth time in two weeks the lines were all the way to the back of the store as they only had two cashiers. I walked up to the manager who was sitting there laughing and carrying on with a Number of coworkers and ask him if he would be so kind to open up another register. He responded sarcastically saying I only have two cashiers and they're on the floor. I looked at him and said isn't there anything that you yourself could do to open up another register he bluntly ignored me. What Walmart doesn't realize is that sooner or later people are gonna stop going there. They do not realize that they themselves as a store can be totally replaced by another. Shame on them shame on all of them. The way that the majority of management speak to customers is a shame. They are very rude and ill mannered and act as though they are the owner of the stores and forget that they are simply employees and that the customers are who pay their damn salary. All of them act as though they are miserable at their job if they are miserable they should leave and find somewhere else to work. They start telling you 45 minutes ahead of time that they're going to close making it nerve-racking for people to want to shop. And then after they rush you to get to the front of the store you have to wait at least and I mean at least an hour before you are checked out. This store should be closed.!!! I would give it less than one star if I could. I hate everyone in this place. This is the worst store I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Customer service is deplorable. I only made one purchase here because it was the cheapest option, and it took me over a week to actually get my product. It was supposed to arrive on a certain date, and when it did not, I went into the store and demanded to know where it was. They said if it did not arrive by the end of the week, they would call me. I expect my order when it says I will get it. I needed it by a certain date and I did not get it. I am completely infuriated by the customer service here and I will never, ever be making a purchase here again. read more

When I ordered high school graduation announcements for my son I assumed that they would also come with envelopes. Does this store also sell 5x7 envelopes (different department)?!? My husband and I are over-the-road truck drivers. We came to this Walmart on the morning of 12/6 to do some grocery shopping. Owner of this Walmart location didn't want us there so he/she called the police even though we patronized their business. We weren't there overnight like the signs in the parking lot said not to and there were no signs saying no trucks allowed. The policeman ordered my husband off the property immediately whereupon he showed the officer a bag of items we purchased. The officer then told him to leave immediately as soon as I got back to the truck. Oh and the bakery dept wasn't very helpful. No fresh hot rolls in the bin around 7 AM even though sign said "fresh baked daily". The lady working behind the glass said they just package them in bags. When I felt the bags, those rolls weren't fresh out of the oven. Most Walmarts have fresh hot rolls in the morning in those types of bins. It just seemed like she didn't wanna go out of her way to put some out there. read more

Waited for over an hour for my prescription of just 20 pills after being told it would take 30 minutes. I tried to see if it was filled 2 more times and then I was told to leave because the weren't going to fill it. After making a scene they pulled the already filled script off the rack to give me. I'll never go back. I already changed my primary pharmacy. Don't use Wal-Mart pharmacy! read more

We found a Montebello Fence with Gate at an incredible price at Walmart online and purchased it immediately. This product was through a secondary party selling through Walmart however they were certainly not the issue. Walmart had false advertised their description of the product completely, both in writing description and pictures that were provided. Their listing included the entire Fence with Gate including all additional 4 attachment fences at a wonderful price. We placed the order & received simply the Fence with Gate. When called to rectify the problem we were sent on a cat and mouse chase & told we had to now deal with the 2ndary party that was selling through them. We were told to email the issue, waited 48hrs for a response. When replied to, was told the entire purchase was delivered & any further questions to feel free to call,....with NO CONTACT PHONE NUMBER provided. Then when found a number after much research we were conveniently disconnected from the call! I suggest they edit the current description and write what is ACTUALLY be sold before that secondary seller removes business with them, just as we already have. Very tacky for big business & beware...word gets around!! read more

I do not know what is happening to this store but it has gone downhill in recent months. It is easy to get to, so we frequent this store. Went in yesterday and the place was a mess...shelves were empty, barely any produce, and every single week they change the place of items. I understand seasonal moving but this goes way beyond. The cheese section was a disaster....instead of putting out the sliced cheeses, there were empty boxes of where the cheese was strewn about. They have stopped carrying many items even tho those items were always sold out. And let's not even discuss the slow cashiers...from one who has to hold everything that you buy and scrutinize it, to one who wants recipes for everything from you.....they are slow and some seem completely overwhelmed. Lines are always long. This store wasn't like this until recently....but please.....do something!!! I have heard many neighbors complaining as well! read more

well, first off, I feel jo and kristen must be workers there because that store is under construction and a total mess. Hard to find anything, constantly moving stuff around, self check out has been there for years. For a review, you couldn't have made it any sweeter. I'm sure it will be very nice when it's done, but right now, it's a mess. Very short handed, the good employees have left or been let go so getting any kind of good service is hard. July 16, 2014 the store was very dirty. Looked like the floor was not cleaned for days. went into the grocery department and it was worse. Can you imagine if it looked this bad in the store how it looks in the back! The shelves had dust and dirt on them. I have never seen the store this bad. This is THE worst pharmacy EVER. They either do not have my meds that I have to wait several days for them to get (and they are common, generic meds) and today was the last straw. I have 2 insurances....when I got the call that my refill for a generic med was in, the price they quoted was way higher than what I have been paying for years. I called and asked if it had been put through both insurances and was told yes. I called my first insurance....the price that Walmart quoted me was exactly what the copay is for that insurance. I called my second insurance...they looked everything up and told me that it had not gone through b/c they didn't see it but could see all the others. So I called Walmart back. Without the woman even looking anything up she tells me that it WAS put through both and there is nothing she can do. I explained what my insurance told me and again, she says, we put it through and there is nothing I can do...so my response was, "well can you try to put it through again" and she refused telling me it wouldn't do any good and there is nothing she can do about it. Didn't even care to TRY!!!! And was snotty about it. Then I got mad and told them to just keep the medicine. I will find another pharmacy. This is the SECOND BIG issue with them in 2 months. The last one was that they told me the med that I had been taking was now costing them $300 and they wouldn't fill it. DONE WITH THEM....DON'T BOTHER TO GO THERE. Poorly run and not well managed at all. ALSO, as a final comment...I had asked them at least 3 times to put all my meds on auto refill and every time, I have had to call myself. read more
