This location is the worst. And that's saying something. They NEVER have the shelves stocked. I cannot count the number of times I've went in only to find empty spaces where products should be. Also, it really shouldn't take 15 minutes to check out in the 'speedy' checkout line. They have 20 cash registers and apparently only 3 cashiers. The staff stand around and 'stock' the same area constantly. Just jabbing away. The management needs to be removed, big time. And now they have guards stop and verify every person leaving. We will never be going back to this locale again! read more

I can only speak about purchasing lenses and frames (with an outside prescription) and I had an amazing experience. I showed up 10 minutes before they closed an the young lady helped me pick out frames and wasn't pressuring me to leave since it was after closing time. Instead, she sat with me and did the entire order and went over lense prices and what would be best for me. No upselling, no pressure. I've also gone here a few times to get my frames adjusted and there has never been an issue and they have always helped even though I didn't purchase those frames from them. The prices here are so amazing. I thought I was going to spend $400-$600 on lenses/frames and I spent $270. The lenses I got were the highest quality lense they have with all the extras. The frames are super cute and were only $70! SCORE. read more

This place is awesome now that they remodeled it. They have fresh produce, deli, bakery, and my fave MEAT! This is now my one stop to shop!!! I just wanted to update my review: I'm have been redoing my front yard at my house this past week. Flowers, mulch, shrubs, plant food, weeds, etc.... I went to Lowe's off 5th st to see what they had. There garden center is pretty big there. The only thing is there plants and shrubs are expensive. So, I thought I would try the Supercenter because the last time I was there I really liked all the color of there flowers. Well, when I got there I got lucky because they just got fresh flowers in that morning. I asked the associate how often they get fresh flowers in and she said twice a week. I started with flowers and the price of them was awesome. I got most of my flowers for under $2.00 each. I was able to buy more then I wanted to buy which was a good thing because I got to fix the side of my house too! Next was mulch. $3.30 a bag. Next I needed to get grass food and weed. I didn't know what I should get so I asked the associate if I could get a little help and she took me right to the section. She was very knowledgeable about the products. She got me exactly what I needed and the tools to help me with my mission. I was in and out of there in no time at all and I didn't have to empty my pockets why i was there. So, now my fave is not only the meat department but the garden center too! I just wanted to say thank you to the associate that helped me. I wish I would of remembered her name. This place is a joke. My wife went down the toothpaste isle today and there was stuff all over the floor, trash, wipes, etc. she slipped and fell bruised her knee sprained her wrist so she tells an employee. This employee is rude and pissed off that she has to deal with the stuff on the floor, tells my wife well I guess I will just stand in the isle and tell people about the crap on the floor. So we finally after about 30-45 minutes later filled out an incident report when they decided they had time for us and said they will take care of this situation and the employee. You would think a multimillion dollar company would take a little more pride in how they handle this situation. We weren't trying to sue/screw anybody or get anything for free we just didn't want the same thing to happen to somebody else read more

As usual the subpar workers at Walmart tried to avoid us as much as possible even when trying to purchase a large item. Until Crystal came out the back door, like the superhero that she is, to actually just do her job (which seems to be a major problem at Walmart in Highland). I have been a customer since the store opened I went to customer service today to return a $25 dollar item and they said I could not return it without a receipt. I advised I paid cash and their website says I could return it. The Customer Service manager said she did care what it said its at the Managers discretion and she said NO! I called the 1800 Walmart number who was equally worthless. I will take my business to Target where they appreciate long term customers and authorize returns. read more

Ok normally I would not write a review for Walmart because I am not a huge fan. But this review is for Walmart security in Highland Ca. I happened to lose my wallet while in the parking lot of Walmart today and securitly found it and personally delivered to my home with 20 min or less of finding it. I have never known security to take the extra step and bring it to someone's house. Everything was still in the wallet. Went to buy Deodorant but could only buy it in the beauty section and there was a huge line. Went to get some over the counter medications and had to call for help and 5 people were waiting for assistance. So 2 things I couldn't get. The baskets are wobbly and don't work right. And always screaming kids at Walmart. At least the garden check out went fast. I haven't been in a Walmart store in over 2 years and I live around the corner. Definitely not my favorite place to shop. I rather look for deals at CVS. Their prices seem high to me. I will go back to my Amazon shopping. read more

Restrooms are never clean. Employees aren't helpful in fact they are rude if you need formula or razors expect to wait 5 min before someone shows up I usually have to hunt someone down. read more

This Walmart sucks the shrinking fishing department and Sporting Goods Department were about the only reasons I went in there aside from a few other things. Now the final straw is they have some security guard wanting to check receipts as you're walking out the door after just paying I really don't like that and besides it's a double standard in that place because I've seen people snatch and grab and security doesn't even go after them. Just another harassment that I don't want to put up with so I'll go to other Walmart or stores... Oh and don't buy ice cream at this Walmart or it will melt while you are waiting in line. So as I was getting ready to leave for work then I notice my very low tire. The only thing close by was the dreadful disgusting pitiful Walmart, just fire and rehire please. Been coming to this walmart since i was a child and im sad to say that tonight was the biggest waste of time and gas... I go in to buy 3 yards of fabric and a bottle of loctite adhesive...only to be told that it couldnt be sold to me with out the proper tag...as if it was my fault that they lost the machine to print out tags...after complaining i waited 25 minutes only to be told again that it couldnt be sold to me and there solution was to go back in the morning (i live 8 miles away) and 10% would be taken off the fabric... 10% off of 3.50 cents -_________- ....will not be going back to this walmart.. The laziest store I've ever been to! The manager Ralph was uncooperative and refused to help me when I ask for another manager's name. They pretended that the computers were going down instead of wanting to help their customers! When trying to exchange my stuff Vanessa the manager acted like the computers were down even though all the computers in front of the store worked she magically discovered that her computers were down in customer service. The lady at Customer Service Linda was so rude. I was doing a return and had my Receipt and all the tags originally in place. She asked if I had the Card that was used for purchase, I showed it to her. Then she said can I see your ID. I showed it to her then she asked to see the card again. It was so nerve racking. What is the point of all that unnecessary BS. Then the lady at the door short black hair lady started yelling at me about a receipt when she just saw me come from customer service. I think what I hate most about this store is all of the trashy people who hang out there at night time. I'm not talking about people who aren't dressed nice and I'm not making a crack at Walmart shoppers. I'm referring to those who are just out for money and trouble. I also hated just wanting to go in and get what I need and having 2 black men (It has nothing to do with their color, just saying that so people will know who I'm talking about) out front basically forcing customers to come over to their table outside and sign petitions. I think it's an annoyance to customers especially when they follow you half way to your car pushing a pen in your face. If the manager would do something about those 2 types of people, I wouldn't mind shopping there again. The Pharmacy is completely disorganized and slow! First off, you have a hateful pharmacist who acts like she doesn't want to deal with anyone who has a question. Secondly, you have incompetent pharmacy staff who can't keep up with all of the scripts coming in and out and they never have anything ready on time. Like most Walmart's, this one has very little cashier's that are willing to work and the one's they do have are extremely slow and the line's in return are very long. Then, when you put in an application offering to speed things up, it gets turned down. I guess Walmart enjoy's people being stuck in their stores a long time and I honestly think they want you to stay in the line a long time so that you will buy the items at the register. Everyone has to eat right? Come on Walmart, you can do better. Finally, let's talk about cleanliness. To start, drop something and look under the shelves, they haven't been cleaned since the store was opened and I have seen rat droppings and roaches. That's just sick! Next, go to any part of the freezer section and more likely than not, you will find something sticky on the boxes. Then, move to virtually any aisle (especially the can food aisle), try to find shelves and can food that doesn't have sticky dust on it. Go to the Dairy section, there you will find milk that has dents in it and something sticky on some of them. Then head over to the snacks where you will often find something that's been expired far too long like Beef Jerky products. read more

A couple of things. 1. For months now the shopping carts are stuck together in twos and you just can't get them apart. I had to go way to the back to find one that not only would roll but wasn't stuck together. 2. There is a guy in the produce department who whistles so loudly and obnoxiously that you can hear him no matter where you are in the store. Instead of wanting to shop there I want to get my stuff and get out of there ASAP. I ordered a item from wal- mart it was shipped thru Fed ex. They threw it over my gate. It was a ceramic item from pioneer woman egg holder. Well when I opened up the box the item was in pieces. All broken up- that is them being lazy to ring my bell or open my gate. Going to Wal-Mart tomorrow and demand to talk to a manager or supervisor. So upset !!!!! read more

I just got back from buying a bunch of items at Walmart. Two of the things I bought were the large containers of Planters Peanuts. I get home and they aren't in any of my bags, but they are on my receipt. I hate the way Walmart does their bagging system. They have that thing that turns and if you don't see everything you go home without your item even though you pay for it. Sucks. That is a lot of money to leave behind. read more

This Super Walmart is okay. ( I prefer the one in Colton) I just avoid shopping here on the first month or weekend of the month ( because of payday)because you can barely get in the store. They at lease have their shelves stocked . My only problem is that the parking lot is a bit compact ( because this use to be a regular Walmart) and there are homeless people and solicitors pandering out in front of the store despite security . Occasionally the Highland Police have to be called out to run the homeless people off because customers are being harassed by them. Staff is mostly decent for the most part. I wish it was 24 hours Walmart but most businesses in this city close around 10pm, So that is understandable. read more

Once someone spilled a bottle of oil all over the floor and the employees did nothing about it. I was minding my own business, buying supplies for my aspiring baking hobby, when I slipped on the oil and hurt my whisking wrist. I stayed on the floor for two minutes screaming. So many employees saw me fall and scream and no one said anything and no one helped me. I was humiliated and hurt by their lack of regard for the customer's wellbeing. I still bought my items from there because I couldn't go anywhere else with my impaired wrist. I had to throw away my pants because they were covered in cooking oil. I still give them two stars because they had everything I needed, baking supplies wise. read more

Title Their own Saving Catcher App I've been using their savings catcher app for a few years now. Says I've received almost $250 back since I first began using it. The past two times I've been given a hard time and told I can't use it anymore. Once the cashier said they no longer accept it. Now this time by someone in a management position was told that they can't use the phone app... it has to be a printed hard copy to use. And was not very friendly in explaining it. Which printing it is an issue as many times as I frequent Walmart. The amount on the savings catcher is always changing. I am a long time shopper of this Walmart. Over 20 years!!! But this is it. Last straw. 1. I'm tired of the constant standing in line because only 2 or 3 registers are open at a time. 2. Untrained cashiers. (Crazy... a few times I've personally had to tell the cashier how to do something because they didn't know how) 3. This Savings Catcher App. 4. Rudeness by employees 5. Can't bring in anything that resembles a backpack. Even if it's obviously a purse! 6. Carts are awful!!!! 7. Always out of stock on numerous things. Just went in and entire headache medicine area was pretty much bare. 8. So me and my mom went to return a toy yesterday but they didn't allow us to return it. My mom and me bought it the day before yesterday. So we went to return it and they said we need to verify the item u bought. Me and my mom didn't know what she meant by that. So I asked her how do you verify the toy? And she said that we need to have a credit card to verify that. And my mom paid that toy with cash not credit or debit. So I asked her that we bought it with cash. And she said it still needs verifying. And so we said that we didn't buy it with credit. And she was being very rude after that. And so me and my mom went to another Walmart and they returned the toy without the dumb verification. And so that is why me and didn't like this Walmart anymore read more

The worst quality photos. Worst service ever. Told that my photos were done via email at 4:30pm, I got there at 5:00pm and nobody was at the photo center. I found a girl in electronics to "help" me. She was repeatedly scanning the wrong barcode, giving me the wrong price. I showed her the email with the total price. So she kept scanning and inputting stuff and eventually restarted the whole register. Took 45 minutes for 15 photos needed for a school project. Also made us late to my daughter's soccer practice. Never again. Wal-Mart really needs to make sure their employees aren't high at work. read more

Terrible store. wife and I went Sunday morning for household items and groceries. We also needed deodorant and shampoo and were directed to a blocked off area with a cashier. The deodorant was locked up and she had to get it for us. Yes they lock up deodorant! Then we had to wait in her line. When other people tried to leave this area she screams and says you must pay for items from this section here. I finally went to another employee standing next to her and asked if I could pay for all of my items in my cart here. Then the cashier said only if you have less than 20 items. We had more. So I asked "what are going to stop me if I leave your area with all of my items" She rudely said Go do whatever you want. So they want you to pay for 2 items in this area then go to the main registers for the rest of your item? Are you kidding me? Terrible management.
