Wish I could put 0 for the Lube Center. Went in to just get a quick oil change. No cars even in the lube side. Waited in my truck for 10 minutes but the guys looked busy so I walked inside. Told the Mexican lady at the register I just needed an oil change on my truck and tried to hand her my keys. She just looked at me rudely and told me I'd have to wait by my truck until someone came over. I asked if she could just tell them I needed an oil change..... NOPE! What other information would they need that they can't find on the inside sticker on my door. But I guess it's probably my fault for expecting to get any kind of customer service at a WalMart. Spend the extra $10 like I did, go down the road to Kwik Kar, and get your oil change done in 15 min (instead of waiting that long just for someone to take your information) and get a free car wash. Walmart is bad enough, truth but this one takes bad to a new low.. I'm sure you've heard of this stuff you get when you have a cat, it's called kitty litter and most places stock this and have name brands like tidy cat, etc, this walmart had no cat litter at all, just a giant empty space on two separate rows with no cat litter at all?!? Okay so no problem, I'll hit the grocery store on my way home, next up needed shampoo and conditioner, once again completely out of stock of name brand items -- I'm not buying sauve or some store brand garbage. Thankfully they did have ample hotwheels for my son to peruse and convince me to buy, then went over to the grocery section which is like being in a dark closet as 50% or more of the lights are burnt out or turned off?!? Asked someone stocking the shelves what aisle are the salad dressings on? She tried to walk away, so I asked again, her response "I don't know" and she took off as quickly as she could... Hmm great service.. Check out for a supercenter had a total of 3-4 checkouts active, employees just leisurely taking their time while lines piled into the clothes section, seemingly oblivious to the fact it was a Saturday afternoon and busy. Target is just down the street, they have cat littler, they carry decent brands of shampoo, and when you ask someone at Target where something is they actually help you.. So we all know the issues we will face when shopping at any Walmart...long lines, crowded shopping, and the occasional rude unhelpful associate. Other than that, this store is ok. It's clean (for the most part) and well organized. When I need something quick for the office, I'm usually able to get out in about 15 minutes. read more

I went into Walmart on a time schedule because I was on my lunch break . I figured that I could make my purchase and be out in a few minutes . I came in to purchase a laptop , I knew the amount I was trying to spend so I quickly found the laptop I wanted to purchase . I walked up on five Walmart employees next to the laptops I asked one for help. She told me they had just got some other chrome books in stock and that she would call the manager to ask about the price .... She never came back . I then asked the second employee to help me purchase the initial laptop she said just a moment and also never came back . All in all , I stood there for about 25 minutes and did not get what I came for . I don't plan on coming back to this Walmart , especially not to buy electronics. read more

I've shopped this store since it was opened. Bad thing is it's the only thing close to my house. Walmart ran off two Kroger's and an Heb. I started driving further to shop because this store had so many issues. Today's experience very little items on shelf no deodorant, no distilled water, no over the counter meds, no fans. The tomatoes were rotting on the floor so bad they'd already attracted small flies. Not one person seemed interested to fix that. When I finally reached the register the scale didn't work and the associate had no clue how to fix it. After two couldn't fix it I finally said I don't need them that bad. The store is like an oven it's so hot inside. Not to mention the shady folks loitering in parking lot. read more

This was a horrific experience. They assumed that my boyfriend and I were stealing at the self check out so they needed two employees to stand there and mock us. There wasn't a problem with him up until I was standing there. My boyfriends black and I'm white . Now this didn't fully register in my head until I saw them forcefully stop another interracial couple. The store itself is just like any other Walmart and since I live in jersey village I either go to this one or the one on 1960 & 290 but there has not been one single time that I don't get approach by homeless people asking for spare change on my way out usually when I am loading my car with groceries and if you ignore them or simply tell them you don't have any change they get very aggressive and verbal towards you. They should have a security in the parking lot to keep this under control. I know the area is bad already and highway 290 being right there contributes to this but their are actions Management can take to control this. Also when I was doing self check out I had my purse on top of my cart since I had a lot of items and I saw a man approach my cart I am pretty sure he wanted to snatch my purse, but I turn exactly at that moment and he pretended to grab a pack of lighters instead only to walk always and put in his pockets. It was clear this guy was homeless. Just doesn't make sense why they stop you at the door when you have a whole bunch of bagged groceries instead of this people. If you want to have a sketchy experience in Walmart this is the one to go to! read more

The auto service team is terrible. No one is in charge and it seems no one cares about the customer. I came for a dead battery after getting a jump. They told me to drive my car to the front of the line. I told them it was dead so I couldn't move it. Then the lady behind the counter told me to get the attention of one of the mechanics to get one of them to check it. I did. He entered my vehicle information, gave me a ticket and asked for my key. He told me the lady inside would give me my options. I go to the counter and she asks me for paperwork. I told her he didn't give me any. I told her I needed to know my choices of battery. She pointed to a book on the wall. I think the look probably let her know that I wasn't about to do that. She looked it up and pointed to the battery for me to get. I got it and took it to the counter. She asked me, "do you want to have it installed" I said yes. Then she asked "if you want it installed shouldn't you take it straight to them?" I told her I don't know, I don't work here. Anyway the mechanic came and selected the correct battery after around an hour he came in and told me it was done. Now the registers are down and they have been waiting for "management" to unlock the register. We been waiting for "management" since I started this post and I type slow. Still waiting. I have been here 2 hours with no one in front of me in line. One guy came in and out for around an hour. Then he came in with his battery! He said no one would take it off for him so he took it off. I am going to keep typing now. Still waiting. Oh and you cannot leave out of the door without someone letting you out. For security probably but if for safety, bad. One mechanic just jammed the door with a carpet to pry it open. Now a 2 year old keeps running in and out. Bad deal. Now the register is up. They still haven't called my name to check out. I have had enough. Gotta go. read more

The birds cover the entire parking lot. Birds, birds, birds!!! The birds do not move. You have to drive around clusters of birds. The parking lot lights are rarely on, and this store is like something from the twilight zone. Eerie! read more
